Plus, this idea that Morton can be an option. Not for me, watched Blackburn a few times and he just does not look the level. Slow, and we have enough slow and safe passers in the team already.

I.e. control the ball with one touch, not 4 or 5. To keeps his head up when dribbling rather than eyes down at the ball. To finish more consistently then have a compliation of Nunez's misses that takes up minutes rather than seconds. For 80 million, I expected more. He has the physical attributes but very few essential technical ones.

My fear is that we signed Gakpo because the Nunez project has been shelved by Klopp. I don't think Klopp believes he can improve, or does not have the temperament to improve. Not to mention silly incidents and injuries now and again. I am not convinced, at all. I think he was a massive mistake.
