I’m hearing Thiago Motta and Sebastian Hoeneß may be ahead of Ruben Amorim in Liverpool's assessment.

1.) 02 Apr 2024 22:58:06
Teamtalk again?

2.) 02 Apr 2024 23:57:05
Thiago Motta is high on Juventus list for the summer, Ed002 said that Hoeness has alternative plans which don’t involve us.

3.) 03 Apr 2024 08:35:03
Literally just listened to the deep dive by the red men tv
Chris pajak and Josh Williams ended the show mentioning these 2 as very outside chances .

Absolutely nothing in it I’d say.

4.) 03 Apr 2024 09:15:56
I’ve already asked this question

Ed001/ Ed002 I've seen mentioned that Liverpool are looking at Thiago Motta, Bologna FC head coach/ manager, sorry lads, this is internet bull probably I'll admit and it's not a random name that I've thrown up, of course I know nothing about him only his playing days.

{Ed002's Note - Thiago Motta (C) MIlan and Juventus are showing some interest in taking Motta in the summer as his coaching career has been picking up and he is well thought of. Will perhaps be considered by former club Barcelona, but they certainly have preferred choices but could look to integrate him in to the larger coaching set up they are planning. There has been no approach by Manchester United or Liverpool that I am aware of. }.

5.) 03 Apr 2024 11:52:03
Rubin Amorim is first choice mate. David Ornstein who is reliable has confirmed this. And the Portuguese version of him Pedro Sepulveda has said the same thing and added that talks have already began. Sepulveda also went on to add that we are clear front runners for his signature. Release clause for clubs outside our Portugal is between €15-€20 million and Sporting will not fight any club that offer that amount.

6.) 03 Apr 2024 15:55:36
Somewhere in Bolton a fat kid is giggling.

7.) 03 Apr 2024 16:57:58
I’m in Bolton Ron…. and you’ll need to be more specific as their are many fat kids.

8.) 03 Apr 2024 16:58:56
It was David Ornstein I heard on a podcast saying that both Motta and Hoeneß scored higher than Amorim in Liverpool's assessment.

9.) 03 Apr 2024 19:38:10
It’s already sorted don’t worry.

10.) 03 Apr 2024 21:16:34
Sorry Magico, it’s inspired by the WonderDog Sparky era.
The fat kid from Bolton used to make loads of rumours up which Ed002 had to refute.

28 Feb 2024 19:16:41
Apparently we have offered Alonso a 3 year deal.

1.) 28 Feb 2024 20:06:16
And your source is.?

2.) 28 Feb 2024 21:44:40
3 year contract to a 33 year old Barcelona LBto replacement Robertson? Surely there’s better options out there?

3.) 28 Feb 2024 22:00:24
My source isn’t anybody, I read it on TEAMtalk. I’ve never said it is credible.

4.) 29 Feb 2024 11:12:50
But the definitive nature of the comment gives that impression.

5.) 29 Feb 2024 16:11:40
No it doesn’t.

A sad day for Liverpool, gutted is not the word.

1.) 26 Jan 2024 10:59:15
Yeah, man. That day is finally here.

2.) 26 Jan 2024 10:59:31
I bet the German National team are even more gutted, if only they had waited!

3.) 26 Jan 2024 11:00:11
What a blow. I'm devastated.

4.) 26 Jan 2024 11:04:41
Talk about a gut punch.

5.) 26 Jan 2024 11:31:52
Klopp and the back room staff to all leave.

Won’t be surprised if there’s more to this than meets the eye.

Trent, Salah and Virg all out of contract in 17 months so not sure if the writing is on the wall to lose at least two of the 3.

I’m at Anfield on Wed night hopefully I can have a word with Jurgen and change his mind ?

He’s the glue that holds this club together. Over to you now FSG to find a manager who can Work with your model and compete.

Club up for sale within 15 months is my prediction.

If we only hired managers that had good managerial records or won loads of trophies then we would not have had Shankly, Paisley, Fagan or Dalglish.
Give people a chance.

I have done a bit of research and Slot might not be that bad of a gamble. He plays attacking, entertaining football which also press high up the pitch. He uses a 433 or 4231 which would fit with the players we currently have.
Feyenoord have the most tackles in the final third over all Dutch teams. He also operates on a smaller budget to those clubs around him, sound familiar?
The more I read the more I like.

Fisketprett, nobody signs for free. Mbappe signed for ‘free’ for Real Madrid but they paid him over £100m signing on fee to get him.

Ed001, are you in favour of this new approach to transfers? Who do you think will carry the can if it doesn’t work out? Would love to hear your thought's.

{Ed001's Note - it really depends on how it works in practice as to whether I am in favour or not. I would prefer a much more ruthless approach, which this should allow for, but it comes down to if the people making the decisions are the right ones or not. Only time will tell. I certainly prefer having a single decision maker for things. Committees end up with compromises and compromises are not the way to go in sports. But it does come down to finding the right ones to put in the decision maker spots. I am not convinced we have that yet. The likes of Edwards and Ward were far too weak in previous roles, so bringing them back with more responsibility seems an odd choice to me. But I don't know them well enough as people to know if it will bring the best out of them or the weight of responsibility will weight too heavily on their shoulders. Will they step up and take charge this time, or will they again let what is essentially an underling overrule them time and time again? We need them to be strong enough to be ruthless and get rid of players past their time while they still have value to be sold. The Saudi league is not going to offer us another get out of jail free card, so they have to be better.}

markp08, your opinion is incorrect, and I will explain instead of just saying:- Jude Bellingham was never coming to Liverpool so to say he was our all or nothing signing is incorrect. Bellingham had no interest and Liverpool was only mentioned so he could get the Madrid move.
