Just to confirm, when macca said

Was this in relation to the the nunez saudi rumour or the greek lad?
Whilst i think it crazy money for nunez i do wonder if we have a replacement target as currently we can rotate relatively comfortably, and a long way to go in the season yet.

I would put Jota on the same plane, as when he gets injured ye don't see him till the next pre-season summer tour.
Both are indeed now not fit for purpose, after having sufficient game time and more, they are regression when progression is needed aka "Danns the Man".

What a fantastic result. Chuffed to bits. 11 points v 5 is a big deal. Thought the whole team was immense.
Special shout out to Gomez, what a guy. I was thinking Slot left the changes a bit late but he knows best, was a great call with the trent sub and keeping gomez cb. Took pressure off quansah straight away. And Slot's post match interviews are a class above imo, so calm and measured.
Great to see elliot back too. Well done redmen, all round success.

The sad sad news of Ed002 just doesn't seem real. How can someone whom you've never met play such a big part of your football obessed life. What a fountain of knowledge.
Been visiting this site daily since the hicks days. Rumours of liverpool going bust, fsg takeover, signing ken aguero with a packet of walkers crisps, the klopp tapping up every man and his dog, and liverpool's obsession with chelsea players! And so many many more crazy rumours. I still have saved an extract from ED002 from years ago when he foretold of the plans for a breakaway superleague, years before it played out.
What a loss.
Prayers and love goes out to all Ed002's loved ones, the rumours community and all the EDs on this site. Love to ED001 too. We stand by you amd this site.

Seriously, the more you reflect on the game yesterday, the sweeter it becomes.
Just want to say, goes without saying the kids were amazing, beyond words. But some of the seniors stepped up to another level too. Amongst those senior players was an important player, just 2 years older than jaydon danns, same age as connor bradley, yet made his 101st liverpool appearance. Take a bow Harvey Elliot, what a performance!

The stamina, grit and determination was exceptional. Ball control has always been top but his vision and ability to spread the play is getting better and better. Really impressed.

For me I thought that Harvey was our standout player, man of the match all day long. He ran the legs off the chelsea players and never gave up. And he's only 19/ 20, he can only improve.

Also keep in mind that we were essentially playing with 10 men near the end of the game and thru out extra time cos Diaz was absolutely shattered to the point that he could barely walk let alone walk.
This is where Harvey's energy and fitness (along with the kids) came to light cos he/ they were essentially playing to cover the ground Diaz could have. Harvey also could have scored a brace in ET as well. Like the JawRed said, the more you think about it, the better the win gets.

Just gutted. Was thinking to myself a few days ago - after first leg win over fulham and arsenal win - if we do something special with the league, we can all sing "im so glad, jurgen is a red" without jurgen getting annoyed by it. oh man, just gutted.

I think it is pretty offensive to say matip let us down plenty of times. As far as i know, he wasnt disruptive, or refused to play, or cause disharmony? Yes, he had an injury record but gave all when played. He was unfortunate for sure.

I just feel it's a bit offensive asking that Mizer. We are all missing Ed02 but ED01 has alao lost a friend too so let's just be here, keep visiting, all the regular contributors keep at it and time take its course.
Just want to say, first place i visited most mornings and before bed. Keep up the great work ED01.

Yeh, proper weak mentality. Just crumbles at first sign of pressure. Weak weak person. Not the kind of guy you want to bring on to replace your star holding DM in the second half of a european cup final game, especially when your team has conceded an equaliser too. don't need weak mentality players like this anywhere near the pitch or team.
