Hope all is sorted with your rent Ed001! If there is a chance to still donate would like to do so for all your hardwork, plus all the other eds!

With you saying that all players are pretty much up for sale, or will be for an acceptable amount, would you say the captaincy is potentially up for grabs this summer?

Cheers.

R_LFC

{Ed001's Note - you would need to ask Benny, but I think it is still going. Thank you mate, it is sorted now.
As far as I can find out Hendo is keeping the captaincy, unless someone comes in with a big offer for him.}

Hi Ed001 mate its good to know benny is still taking donations for you, i will get intouch with benny to donate, i'm glad its sorted out but as R_LFC said its for all the hard work you and all the eds put into the site for us fans, so thanks for all your hard work.

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate.}

Evening Ed's!

Thanks for all your hard work during the whole Suarez saga and appreciate Ed002 informing us Suarez's confides were speaking to RM and Barca for the past few months. Aswell as thanks to ED001, for your opinion on more Liverpool matters as appreciate a fans insight (especially when then know something about the club)

Don't shoot the messenger and have no idea if it has been mentioned but according to twitter (I know) Origi's father has confirmed he will be at LFC next year.

Happy with transfer's so far, would rather have players who have desire and the right attitude than players who just want bit of a payday or don't play for pride. A new LB and CB would be a very good summer for Liverpool IMO.

Thanks for the updates Ed's and apologise if this has already been mentioned.

Afternoon Ed's!

Was watching the Racing Club game last night and seemed to recall we were looking at Luciano Vietto from them? Have we looked at him since or has interest died down?

Seems to be a decent player but his goal scoring record this season is quite poor.

R_LFC

{Ed002's Note - Sadly a subject we are not going to discuss. But you can forget about the player for January.}

Ben Woodburn has just scored for Wales. Big goal in a big game for us. Massively made up for the lad, hopefully gets a few games this year.

1.) 02 Sep 2017 21:41:26
He gets better everytime I see him. Coutinho who?

2.) 02 Sep 2017 21:49:28
Have just watched it. Quite brilliant strike. Delighted for the lad.

3.) 02 Sep 2017 21:53:51
I wonder if woodburn and solanke could play together, future forwards and save us a lot of cash.

Baz.

4.) 02 Sep 2017 22:28:18
And this is why he will fail.

Coutinho who?

Just leave Ben alone. Let him learn his trade and let us learn from the bullcrap tags we have labelled every young player we have ever had

He isn't the new .

He's the original Ben Woodburn.

Let the boy make his own legacy!

5.) 03 Sep 2017 04:21:55
Top business. What are you waffling? He's going to fail because a few people are singing his praise. shut up.

6.) 03 Sep 2017 05:13:40
Onions, it is you who needs to shut up. Singing someone's praises is very different to comparing them to a borderline already world class player. Comparisons like that spread, turning hope and expectation into pressure, which would be poor for his development.

7.) 03 Sep 2017 06:37:23
No because he is now the next coutinho.

Someone who was on the verge of Barcelona and Ben is a 17 kid who just scored one goal.

Rossiter vs Boro scores 35 yards out bottom corner. next Gerrard wasn't it.

Adam Morgan scores in pre season, must be the next owen

Ejaria has a couple of good pre season games, haha f u man u we have our own pogba, arsenal will be defeated

Then when these players don't reach them nights or have one bad game there binned off.

All I am saying is just let Ben be the original Woodburn, not the new coutinho.

{Ed001's Note - Rossiter was being called the next Gerrard long before he made the first team mate.}

8.) 03 Sep 2017 07:25:46
Connor coady was another Gerrard. Ejaria is the next titi camera.

9.) 03 Sep 2017 07:58:33
Not comparing him to coutinho.
Saying that while the fallout from the coutinho mess settles, stick this kid on the bench/ pitch instead of him. I've seen all the other kids you mentioned, wasn't impressed by any of them. Woodburn is different, the confidence and ability he has is so exciting.

10.) 03 Sep 2017 08:34:48
Ejaira the next Camara? They don't play in the same position.

11.) 03 Sep 2017 08:45:48
Onions, allow the boy to play his game and develop gradually instead of saying "Coutinho who? " as that is just senseless. It took "Coutinho who" 4 years to become border line world class, a 100m player, a principal cog in the new and improved Brazilian side and is one of the best no. 10's in Europe and second only to David Silva in the PL. I know you are excited for the young Woody and so am I BUT just chill out, take a deep breathe and allow the boy to develop into who you want him to be.

Now that it looks like VVD and Lemar are done with.

How would you rate this transfer window for us?

Where you think we will finish this year?

R_LFC

1.) 31 Aug 2017 21:55:53
5th or 6th. Can't compete without a defense. Another season with main issues not addressed.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 21:58:06
If a CB doesn't come its a poor window.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 21:58:48
Have same defence, improved attack, couple of key squad men back from injury, Ward back at the club, some extras in the sqyad are gone, Gomez and TAA already getting good game time, big signing to come in next Summer. Seems relatively positive. Defence us no worse than last season. Potential to qualify for another year of UCL next season is what I think.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 22:23:28
We have bought a left back, have some very talented defenders fighting for places and have not lost any defenders but we are going to drop places? Even though we have clearly improved our attacking and midfield options. How many clean sheets have we had in out last 10 prem games also?

5.) 31 Aug 2017 23:16:21
Kloppshop, that would be 7 clean sheets in the last 9 EPL games BUT I guess our defence is still crap, right? Our window is positive and our squad is a lot bigger and stronger in good areas. We went from having no FB's to having our FB positions well stacked BUT again, we can always have a moan, right? We will be fine.

28 Aug 2017 14:36:10
Keita done deal then. Joins July 2018.

Unreal.

27 Aug 2017 21:18:40
Linked with Lemar now, surely unlikely and would only suggest an exit for Coutinho?

R_LFC

{Ed002's Note - Or Salah?}

1.) 27 Aug 2017 21:46:14
Lemar is staying at Monaco, mate.

2.) 27 Aug 2017 22:05:28
I was fully expecting it to be far fetched, 2-: just being reported.

Last thing we need is another midfielder, Grujic hasn't even been tried properly and Can is unhappy with game time yet after another midfielder. Think we have more depth than most think, but need the chance to show it. Look at TAA now!

Rumours that Karius starts tomorrow.

R_LFC

1.) 26 Aug 2017 22:40:35
Mignolet is apparently sick or injured.

So, yeah. Karius starts in goal and Ward finally makes. the bench.

Fingers crossed this change does not disrupt our team. I believe we have the ability, and momentum, to beat Arsenal at Anfield. All we have to do is keep a clean sheet and I believe the win will be ours. Although asking for a clean sheet, with our defensive set up, is like asking Costa and Conte to put aside their differences and come to an amicable arrangement. Not going to happen :P.

2.) 26 Aug 2017 22:50:59
Migs wants to move to Barcelona too?!

3.) 26 Aug 2017 22:56:10
Is this the same injury / illness Coutinho had?

4.) 26 Aug 2017 22:56:44
In other words has he been dropped and it's being put down to injury / illness.

5.) 26 Aug 2017 22:56:51
Mignolet is neither injured or sick. Karius is favored for tomorrows game for some reason.

6.) 26 Aug 2017 23:31:03
If Karius is being favored over Mignolet, it could possibly be that Klopp expects Arsenal to play long balls into the box and Mignolet has well-known butter fingers.

7.) 26 Aug 2017 23:33:58
Could they be showcasing him to sell him next week? Personally I think the match is far too important for that.

8.) 27 Aug 2017 00:14:44
Maybe it's occurred to Klopp that Migs is incapable of advancing beyond the level of bang average, struggles to even keep that level up, and if he wants to actually improve our goalkeeping situation without making a signing he has to take a gamble on Karius or Ward?

I'd have gone with Ward, personally, but I'd much rather see Karius getting a shot than more Migs.

9.) 27 Aug 2017 01:04:07
I hope Klopp has a change of heart and puts Ward in the nets.

10.) 27 Aug 2017 01:55:36
come on karius this is the chance you have been waiting for, get in goal and stay there, you have the chance to end mignolet's reign of terror, you didn't leave german football to play second fiddle to mignolet, I have no quams about karius playing tomorrow, klopp should have had more faith in him in last season, at least karius can improve, mignolet has started this season awfully and deserves to be dropped.

Surely this depends on your interpretation of 'bought' as Hart was bought from Shrewbury at a young age but was part of City's youth system. Think the same goes for Krul from ADO?

They are the two I can think of off the top of my head.
