I have a question for you all about tomorrow's game, which stems from my superstitions. Since I have got to Spain, I have been going to the same bar to watch the games, as I couldn't watch them in the house except via a stream. So far we have not lost when I have gone there, even the early kick off when we went behind, the bar hadn't opened and we went there for the second half and won.

So my question is - do I go there tomorrow night and risk using up all the luck we need for the league, when I can watch it at home properly? Or do I stay at home and save the luck for the league?

Think of it as an experiment. You need to find out if the bar is just lucky for league games or if it works for the cup as well! If a few ginger beers slip down your throat in the process than that's not your fault is it?

Not so sure, I'm very superstitious and sometimes talking about these things can have an edverse affect ed001.

I am using the adjective, adverse, as this has happened to me.

During the season when we nearly won the title under Br, I always used to take my Liverpool house key off the car key set. On the morning before the Chelsea home game, my Mrs needed the key as she had lost hers. I immediately refused and gave no reason why but then came to my senses ( or not ) and gave the reason why she couldn't have the key.

Getting the right hump, she had to get a spare from her dad's, who lives around the corner.

The rest is history or not as in our case that season.

Don't go. Leave it for the league.
I'd a similar lucky charm during the title run-in. I would always have clothes in the washing machine when playing on Sunday. then I didn't do that against Chelsea.
And this season, if I watch the match from the start, either a loss or draw. But if I wait for about 15 mins into the game, we win. So, I've been waiting for the game to get underway before joining.
Just save it for the league. It's more important.
