Eds can you say if its true that anderson telisca agent is in london to have talks with liverpool just read it

{Ed002's Note - I can tell you that both his agent and a third party that assists are elsewhere right now. Talisca is however in England with Benfica and all of the club staff.}

1.) 21 Jul 2016 18:04:27
Not Liverpool related but I've heard that Wolves FC are interested in him?

24 Mar 2016 11:06:03
newest rumour to come off sky is that we want parades and are willing to offer benteke as part of the deal. that is just ridiculous. if we don't want him sell him not offer him for a kid offer him for someone who is worthy of replacing him!

06 Jan 2016 20:42:52
Ed can you give me some info on andrea ranocchia. According to sky italia we have agreed a deal and everything will be announced in the next 72 hours.

{Ed002's Note - Inter are pretty desparate to raise funds and will sell Andrea Ranocchia in January or even try to use him in an exchange deal. Ranocchia was previously of interest to Liverpool (under Brendan Rodgers) and Southampton and has attracted the recent interest of Sevilla and Norwich City as they continue to look at centre backs. But it is Bologna who Inter have been negotiating with. Inter has offered him to Sampdoria as a part exchange but it remains unclear if they want him or not. I am not aware of Liverpool having turned their attention to him - but he is available. If they have then I would assume interest in Matip has gone.}

1.) 06 Jan 2016 20:58:01
What's your thoughts on him ed2?

{Ed002's Note - Inter don't see The Frog as good enough for them although Norwich and Bologna do think he would be a good addition. Inter have constantly requested him to stop trying to dribble out of defence. For me I would put him behind Matip who is himself a far from elegant player. Subotic is available and would, in my view, be a far better option.}

2.) 06 Jan 2016 21:29:26

Your football knowledge is frightening.

3.) 06 Jan 2016 22:06:45
From what I've heard it's not good I hope we stay clear! Matip is at least younger and may improve, I fear rannochia will be too easy an option of inter are so ready to sell! Random question by why do Italy allow so many subs?! Can't tell if it's a good thing or bad!

4.) 06 Jan 2016 22:16:41
Ed002, if only you were responsible for our transfer dealings and Ed001 for coaching where would Liverpool be right now :)

5.) 06 Jan 2016 22:32:32
Again for ed2, if possible.
Does subotic look likely or is that just opinion?
What's your view on llori? Seems to be one of the major talking points again.

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to get in to using words like "likely". Dortmund will be willing to let Neven Subotic, who has been of interest to Spartak Moscow and Arsenal, leave in January. I suspect the interest of Arsenal has moved on but I would not rule out an offer being made by either Hannover or Liverpool in January. He will be avialable at a good price and he is a player who Klopp has worked with at his two previous clubs.}

6.) 06 Jan 2016 22:55:08
Where linked with a loan for Subotic is the a possibility based on what Dortmund want.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know if they would want a loan with him returning in the summer.}

05 Dec 2015 17:30:36

Reports saying it is to replace moreno as klopp feels he will go in January, now with moreno come out and said he has no intention on going as madrid have never made a concrete offer for him then surely Guerrerio is a replacement for Enrique?

Can you answer this ed001 or ed002.

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained, all Liverpool has done is watched the player. And this would have been before Moreno said anything.

Lorient left-back Raphael Guerreiro has been of previous interest to Newcastle, Milan, Arsenal, PSG, Mancester City and Sampdoria. Marseille, Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea have had watched the player this season - whilst an Arsenal scout says they may look again.}

1.) 05 Dec 2015 17:44:09
Cheers ed just read the reports so thought i'd ask have a good weekend.

{Ed002's Note - And you.}

2.) 05 Dec 2015 19:44:55
I know he's said it before he's arrived, but he doesn't need to keep saying it. At this time he's no where near the level of Madrid, so just keep working hard, keep your mouth shut and impress for us!

24 Nov 2015 11:27:13

Recent form shows that coutinho likes playing for Klopp and his new methods and is now scoring again and what i like is not the world class goals, his goal against man city was like a poachers goal.

This got me thinking do any of you guys think that Coutinho got fed up of playing for Rodgers? I think that if Rodgers was still here come Januray phil could of been off to Barcelona that's my personal thought, i know it might not of happened but he looks a completely new player.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained before that outinho has said that he will leave Liverpool in the summer if they don't have Champions League football - this was said to three of his International colleagues. He is also aware of interest from Barcelona and one of the three is a Barcelona player.}

1.) 24 Nov 2015 11:59:58
Didnt he come out and say that he has no intentions of leaving Liverpool tho?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, he is a flake.}

2.) 24 Nov 2015 12:14:50
hopefully itll be a case of leaving if we don't get CL and staying if we do, simple as.

3.) 24 Nov 2015 12:18:37
to be fair, to keep your best players, you need to be successful and play in the champions league.

players are human too, they have a very short career, and if they feel they can win more elsewhere, and they have the opportunity to go elsewhere, they will.

klopp is our opportunity in making him stay, if we are successful of course.

4.) 24 Nov 2015 12:31:44
Bloody hell Ed that's bad news then mate. You think Klopp can change his mind? CL is a big ask this season imo.

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing new here - the club will know about it.}

5.) 24 Nov 2015 13:28:13
We currently have all season to make up a 6 point gap, it's not that big an ask.

6.) 24 Nov 2015 14:24:51
I just don't think he is ready yet to go to Barcelona or madrid and i don't see where he would fit in just yet. I think Coutinho can be world class but is he in that bracket yet? No shows moments of world class but not consistently for me. He is still young and he needs to stay with Liverpool for at least another season and see what Klopp has got to offer as this is not his full first season (i know he took over quite early on) It would be interesting to see when these comments where made about leaving Liverpool in the sense of was it when Rodgers was here or even now that Klopp is in?

{Ed002's Note - It was when Rodgers was there - but it was about being in the Champions League - and not who the manager was. Bayern Munich also watched Countinho at the end of last season at a game in London.}

7.) 24 Nov 2015 15:17:39
I would rather he go Barcelona than man city. U know man city has habit of buying players that did well against them.

8.) 24 Nov 2015 14:18:44
i think klopp has changed his mind.

9.) 24 Nov 2015 15:40:10
Personally wouldn't blame him if he left in the summer if we are outside the cl. We would get a substantial sum and I think it would be a case of just having to give thanks to a player who has been successful for us and respect that as a top player wants to play in the biggest games possible. If we make cl and he stays then all the better still!

10.) 24 Nov 2015 16:02:34
I'm hoping he'll be a bit more invested than just 1 season under Klopp with all the potential he brings to the club (not to mention the possibility of him building a lasting partnership with Firmino that could possibly see them leading the attack for Brazil for years) .

I'm not sure of we'll make top 4 this season, but if we keep the side together under Klopp I can definitely see a run at the title in a year or two. Would be a shame if he left before testing exactly how far Klopp can take this side with a bit of time to mature this relatively young squad.

11.) 24 Nov 2015 17:10:53
Lets hope your right Zimbo mate. Surely Lucas and Firmino will have an influence on him staying?

12.) 24 Nov 2015 19:10:58
If we continue playing the way we are, there's no reason why we can't win the Europa League and qualify for the CL that way. I'd much rather we concentrate on that, than the Carling or FA Cup.
Still confident of a top four finish too.

13.) 24 Nov 2015 22:14:37
Suarez Neymar messi are leagues ahead of him at the moment. If he's bought as a centre mid, then busquets is almost guarenteed the Cdm role, so he's in direct competition with iniesta, sergi and rakitic. I know iniesta is getting on and he could play out wide too, but there's not many starts for attacking players in that team.

14.) 24 Nov 2015 23:46:46
I'd imagine things will have changed slightly since klopp has arrived.

If we don't make CL this season but coutinho sees improvement then I'd imagine he will give us another season.

15.) 25 Nov 2015 09:28:28
Coutinho wants to play with neymar and Barcelona needs a replacement for Iniesta.

I prefer that coutinho leaves if he feels so than stay with us and leave like suarez.

16.) 25 Nov 2015 10:15:46
Barcelona already have a replacement for Iniesta. They've bought 2 midfielders they can't play yet. I still see Coutinho moving to Barcelona as a MASSIVE mistake on his career.
Reitic, Turan, Rafinha, Roberto, and Iniesta are all competing for places, Then in the forward 3 you have Neymar Suarez and Messi. I just don't see how he gets regular game time, especially in that front 3 unless Messi moves on. Even then Barcelona have Vidal, and 2 youth products, who are in the squad. It'll be tough going and he'd have to really step up his game.

17.) 25 Nov 2015 10:36:49
If coutinho does go then at least playing under Klopp will have increased his price tag and increased the chances of getting a decent replacement due to the Klopp effect.

18.) 25 Nov 2015 16:20:52
Mr. Bobatron I always read your posts.

Im from barcelona and i have watched barça for many years as well the spanish league, so let me give my two cents.

Rakitic plays with iniesta so its not a replacement he is a player from the starting 11. Also, rakitic is different from iniesta doesn't has a lot of flair is more like a midfielder with good shoot to mantain posession. You don't see him doing many combinatios with the front 3.

Turan is more like a winger but certainly is a good option. However i never have seen playing with barça.

Rafinha isn't like iniesta and never will be. Is a very strange player, has good dribling but is not a good paser, moreover he never sits in midfield to elaborate is more like a forward with good techinque.

Sergi roberto, believe me with this, now he seems good but barça is playing very well and has players who cover his shortages. He is a mediocre player, only has physique and that is a masia product if not it would not have any options to play.

Vidal is a winger who won't play in iniesta position i think that barça wants him in alves position.

I agree that turan is the replacement but barcelona is now one of the best and needs more top players if one gets injured or is playing bad and trust me barça doesn't has that many options in midfield.

I hope that my explanation has given some insight, excuse my english and keep the good job and those nice discussions for us who love this sport! Thanks.

Eds or anyone know why there are no red nets anymore?

1.) 12 Sep 2016 00:09:45
Think it's something to do with the new stand. New start and all that.

2.) 12 Sep 2016 00:41:07
Read somewhere the players liked white better as it was easier to see with the red blending into the crowd a bit. No idea if that's true though.

3.) 12 Sep 2016 00:54:59
How could someone disagree that question 😂.

4.) 12 Sep 2016 03:24:03
Apparently when you live under a bridge only the dislike button is available.

5.) 12 Sep 2016 06:46:38
Both very plausible explanations Mikey and RDL.

18 Aug 2016 21:46:25
I know we have ings origi sturridge and firmino but i would really loke to see klopp buy a striker just to see who he brings in.

1.) 18 Aug 2016 22:22:12
Has to be a joke.

2.) 18 Aug 2016 22:32:22
"Just to see who he brings in"?

Dear god, yeah let's spend millions of pounds we don't need to just to see who it might be even though we agree we don't need one.

3.) 18 Aug 2016 22:51:17
I don't think you got what the OP was saying.

4.) 18 Aug 2016 22:55:45
Hopefully we get cl football this year and he's can sign reus or the polish st .

5.) 19 Aug 2016 05:43:46
Agreed, better get more strikers in just in case the ghost of vorinin cripples the ones we already have.

17 Aug 2016 18:11:45
According to james pearce mane broken his collar bone 4-6 months out at best.

1.) 17 Aug 2016 18:25:13
Oh god, no! He's been dynamite.

2.) 17 Aug 2016 18:26:45
It's a false account mate. Not the real James Pearce. Probably some Manc or Arsenal fan trying to cause distress.

3.) 17 Aug 2016 18:39:12
No he hasn't and i can't see a player been allowed to drive home with a broken collar bone. How about waiting for something offical before you start talking rubbish.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 18:44:39
Oh dear if true. That long out really?

5.) 17 Aug 2016 18:48:38
"Gutted" doesn't cover it.

We have plenty of options, but Mane has that extra bit in terms of pace and the ability to run at people all day that Couts, Lallana, Firmino etc. don't have, and I was really looking forward to seeing him settle in and deliver on his ability consistently.

We need Sturridge to have a good run in terms of fitness for this not to hurt a lot, imo.

6.) 17 Aug 2016 18:49:51
Mango, I hope to god that your right .

7.) 17 Aug 2016 18:53:09
Ahh nice one Mango.

8.) 17 Aug 2016 18:55:09
He's down with a shoulder injury on Fantasy League, so the injury is real but perhaps not the extent.

9.) 17 Aug 2016 20:06:13
Twitter is bad enough, but fake Twitter accounts are pretty poor sources by definition. Takes about 5 seconds to thumb through Pearce's tweets and see he said no such thing.

10.) 17 Aug 2016 20:11:14
He'll miss one game James Pearce that tweeted that has 40 followers it's a fake account. It's confirmed a muscle injury nothing serious.

30 Jun 2016 14:20:07
If Benteke does go do you think Klopp would look to sign up his own striker signing?

{Ed002's Note - The club has more than enough strikers.}

27 Jun 2016 01:42:32
Eds am i right in thinking that matip hasn't been unveiled yet due to in not being past his contract with shalke just yet?

{Ed001's Note - unveiled? The signing has been confirmed, not sure what more you want the club to do.}

1.) 27 Jun 2016 05:38:16
But have we seen any picture of him leaning against some wall at Anfield or Melwood?

{Ed001's Note - it is the close season, the players are not at Anfield or Melwood to have those kind of pictures taken....}

2.) 27 Jun 2016 08:38:51
Not yet boys but I'm sure he will be announced officially in the next couple of weeks.

{Ed001's Note - it has been announced officially. What are you on about?}

3.) 27 Jun 2016 09:12:29
The players are at the euros or on holiday. Relax.

This was confirmed by coric and he said he was only a medical away but wanted to play champs league with his existing club. Should of loaned him straight back to them to get the deal done if that was the case.

Very fast skillfull left back decent player but has struggled with injuries read that his defending isn't great but that was only one article. If he can't defend then he is not an upgrade on moreno but can klopp work his magic again.

I like FSG and i think they have made some good decisions like getting klopp suarez coutinho sturridge and building up Anfield instead of moving but i also feel that they have taken us as far as possible now. Just hope its not more americans!

I have got the membership and it is good to have but you have to keep it up in the sense of making up the numbers with it. For example when buying the tickets they usually say people with 8 or more premiership matches get the first pick and so on. I used mine a lot last season hope this helps.

Doubt it. Migonlet would move on no doubt if hart did come in but karius didn't sign to be on the bench nor would joe hart sign to sit on the bench behind karius so makes no sense making a move for him.
