Good day Eds.

Sorry about throwing in a random name, but have we or any other team looked at Youri Tielemans of Anderlecht. Been following the Belgian league and saw him in the Champions League. Very composed for a 17 year old. 18 tomorrow.

I feel he has the potential to be one of the best in his age range in the coming years.

Thank you.

realtofel

{Ed002's Note - Lots of interest from clubs but not Liverpool.}

1.) 07 May 2015 05:50:16
Hasn't he agreed to join Atletico?

2.) 07 May 2015 06:24:56
Has he agreed to go to Barca in 2016? Saw that on another forum.

Outside the fact that Navas has been shocking tonight, I hope Klopp doesn't go for any goalkeeper.
Karius should be given a full season to make the role his.

realtofel

1.) 11 Apr 2018 21:26:23
If Real go out they will come knocking for JK.

2.) 11 Apr 2018 21:27:24
Karius deserves a chance.

3.) 11 Apr 2018 21:36:58
Nothing wrong with having two good keepers in the squad though, so if Mignolet leaves as seems quite possible, then there should be room for another keeper to arrive as Klopp may not see Ward as good enough.

4.) 11 Apr 2018 21:39:14
Buffon concedes pen and is sent off.

5.) 11 Apr 2018 21:52:48
Buffon didn't concede the pen he just reacted like a moron.

6.) 11 Apr 2018 21:54:46
Buffon didn't concede the pen Agger. He got sent off for remonstrating with the ref.

7.) 11 Apr 2018 21:58:00
pretty poor penalty to give by oliver who is a woeful ref.

{Ed001's Note - did anyone else think he looked delighted to give it? He gave a little skip of joy before pointing to the spot!}

8.) 11 Apr 2018 22:00:01
Buffon should have stayed on.

9.) 11 Apr 2018 22:10:16
Ref was gunning for it all game. You can see how scared he looked when the juve players surrounded him too. Every time a Madrid player went down he would wait a second and then give it like he was awaiting a look from Ronaldo or something.

10.) 11 Apr 2018 22:13:19
I would actually love to get Real Madrid after this game. They are from at their best.

11.) 11 Apr 2018 22:14:48
That was a pen. a soft one perhaps but you can’t jump all over someone like that from the wrong side. And Buffon deserved the card, he was going apoplectic. I’m as gutted as anyone Real won that game but you can’t blame the ref for those decisions IMO.

12.) 11 Apr 2018 22:16:52
Olrish, the idea is good to bring in a keeper but not Navas. He makes Migs look very good and that speaks volumes! If Klopp has seen him tonight he wouldn’t go within a mile of him!

13.) 11 Apr 2018 22:17:48
imo Michael Oliver called an even game, the penalty was soft but not necessarily wrong.

14.) 11 Apr 2018 22:18:53
You can tell that the ref was not sure at first as he had to wait a a couple of seconds before giving it. I still think it was a pen, tho as Benatia came thru Vazquez's back to reach the ball. As for Buffon, he deserved to be sent off. Love the guy BUT disgraceful conduct.

15.) 11 Apr 2018 22:19:23
Real Madrid somehow get the help that they need, and boy did they need help tonight Juve must feel upset and they won't be wanting that Ref again .

16.) 11 Apr 2018 22:31:20
Yeah Benatia was caught on the wrong side of Vazquez and pushed him over. A soft pen, but a clear one.

Why was Buffon given a red for remonstrating with the ref? I thought a yellow would suffice (for dissent)

17.) 11 Apr 2018 22:41:19
He put his hands on him then screamed something in his face, unfortunately it was a red although Oliver did let joe hart get away with sticking his nut in his face (only a yellow)

18.) 11 Apr 2018 22:47:39
Sure did ed01, his face was a picture after the decision. Realising he’d had one big time and when he looked across he realised his only back up was Atkinson who is equally as bad. Surely it has to be more than luck that Real and Barcelona get these decisions so regularly?

{Ed001's Note - well yes, partly it is because they get into the box more often, partly it is because they dive more than most when the opportunity presents but yes, I would say there is no luck involved.}

19.) 11 Apr 2018 23:05:50
That was a penalty. Hand on shoulder, leg wrapped around the player and he didn't touch the ball, cos it's trajectory didn't change.
I don't think it was soft, I think it's clear.
Of course, Vasquez was expecting it and took full advantage, but still, it was a clear penalty.

20.) 11 Apr 2018 23:42:56
Never a red for Buffon too, he was going mad yes, but it's a yellow unless he lays hands.

21.) 11 Apr 2018 23:55:56
Does anyone not thing Ronaldo should’ve been sent off tonight. His dive for a penalty in the first half was terrible should’ve been booked for that, then the booking for taking his shirt off after scoring the penalty. Would much rather face Madrid in the final where they are less likely to get the decisions so obviously in their favour compared to having to face them at the bernabeu.

22.) 12 Apr 2018 00:17:50
mane yesterday was more of a pen yet not given, refereeing is just crap.

Waiting for another inspirational speech by Ed0333.

realtofel

{Ed0333's Note - To be honest mate I’m watching the news and little kids getting gassed to death in Syria has disturbed and shocked me to my core and the game tommorow pails into a modicum of insignificance. But it would be remiss of me to label Liverpool FC as insignificant because since the inception of our glorious club in 1892 the masses have been using it as an outlet and a release from the harsh rigors of daily life.
I’ve been skint, I’ve been dumped, I’ve been homeless, I’ve been hopeless, I’ve been sick, I’ve been lost but I always had the badge and the Liverbird. Liverpool FC has never turned its back on me even though I tried turning my back on her (Roy Hodgson need I say more). In those darkest days or halcyon ones we stride together in unison and infinite. So again we march like we have done innumerable times on territory of foe. Like times gone by our soldiers are resolute and feared with an arsenal that makes grown men quiver. Our leader is mecurial and merciless and our support unwavering. Tommorow we face the light blue garrison of Manchester who 6 days ago were the best there ever was and the best there ever will be but at 7.45pm tommorow evening Jurgen Norbert Klopp will unleash hell and put paid to that theory once and for all. Somebody vacate that perch because The Egyptian King, The louco Brazilian and the Senegalese smiling assasin are coming to claim it. ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ.

1.) 09 Apr 2018 23:35:30
Syria has been a sore spot for me for a long time. I keep asking myself if there are persons that would willingly throw away lives - and that easily too.
I believe we will beat City tomorrow. Prior to now, I was sceptical. But just like last week, your speech has me believing.
You should consider being a coach/ motivational speaker. I'll pay to listen to you.

{Ed0333's Note - I appreciate your kind words my friend and thankyou. We live in a crazy world realtofel I just pray things improve and drastically. As for paying to listen to me I don’t think you’d say that if you heard my wedding speech lol. You know what you’ve given me a good idea I should charge Ed’s 001 per minute every time I call him. No one else wants to listen to his incesscent bollox at least I should be compensated for it.

2.) 09 Apr 2018 23:53:47
Nice one ed ✊🏼.

Been homeless, hopeless, sick and lost but I've always had the badge and the loverbird.

Love that man. Your a boss.

{Ed0333's Note - thankyou Bmena-red. LFC is the only thing that’s never let me down in life.

4.) 10 Apr 2018 00:21:23
What a post Ed333, top fella.

{Ed0333's Note - thanks Salah let’s hope your namesake does the business tommorow mate.

5.) 10 Apr 2018 00:41:26
Don't you worry about it Ed, I've got it covered mate.

7.) 10 Apr 2018 04:19:26
Thanks Ed0333

I had my doubts, I did not fully believe. I would have bet on a us losing (on penalties) if I i could, but your speech has stopped me wasting my money.

They are both thumbs up on this post.

21 Mar 2018 08:10:09
If I were making decisions at Madrid, I'll go for Bobby at the end of this season to replace Benzema. He does what Benzema does for Real/ Ronaldo and more.
Then Salah at the end of next season.
Of course, I sincerely hope neither leaves.
If Alderwereld were to be available for a "reasonable" price and considering a CB isn't exactly a target, who thinks we should go for him?

realtofel

1.) 21 Mar 2018 08:23:51
I'd love to sign Alderwereld, at any price, he really is top notch.

2.) 21 Mar 2018 08:47:18
I have gone off Alderweireld to be honest. In my opinion he is one of the best in the world when fit, but he is nearly 30 now and constantly injured. He's missed 38 games since the start of last season. That is a shocking statistic.

I'd bet he will cost close to £50m. Is somebody who plays 25 games a season worth that kind of cash? Partnerships are vital and you can't build a relationship if one half of the partnership is never fit. I really rate him, but I think Liverpool missed the boat 4 years ago when he should've been signed. It's not a worthwhile risk anymore for a position which isn't a priority.

3.) 21 Mar 2018 08:59:56
I didn't realise he'd missed THAT many games MK, so fully understand what your saying. I now retract what I said previously on that alone lol.

4.) 21 Mar 2018 09:06:37
Agree with MK - Alderweireld is the best around when he's fit, but I didn't quite realise he was injured consistently to that extent. That is Sturridge-level injury proneness.

5.) 21 Mar 2018 09:37:10
Alderwereld is available and would end up at UTD partnering Bailly.

6.) 21 Mar 2018 11:07:41
It's been bad in recent years. He missed 8 games in the 14/ 15 campaign, 9 games in the 16/ 17 campaign and 29 games this season already.

When fit, He's arguably the best right sided centre back in the World. I fully understand why people would want him. If we weren't in such dire need of more stability at the back, I would say he was worth a gamble. At 29 years old and having suffered two major hamstring injuries and 1 major knee injury in the last 4 seasons, I'm just not sure how much longer his body will cope with the Premier League.

The reported figure is £44m but we all know that there will be agent fees, signing bonuses and other hidden costs that push the real transfer over £50m. Considering we have priorities at right back, goalkeeper, and midfield I just can't justify the risk. I certainly won't be upset if we did sign him! I'd be excited to be honest. It's easy to be flippant with £50m when it isn't coming directly out of your pocket though!

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, a number of the games this season have not been because of injury but because he has not signed a new contract, so Pochettino is phasing him out ready. If he signs he will be straight back into the team. He has been fit for weeks now.}

7.) 21 Mar 2018 11:41:24
29? Young for a CB these days. He could have 5 seasons at the top.

For me the plan should be to integrate Joe G in as centre back. VVD has a few years on Toby so he’s long term. Toby even with his injury issues would be ideal for us. Joe G would rotate with him, extending Toby’s career whilst building up Joe’s experience playing with VVD.

33% cheaper than VVD? I’d sign him up, good player and experienced in premier league.

8.) 21 Mar 2018 11:52:10
I think that 29 games only includes time he wasn't in full training Ed. It stated that he has been fit since March 11th. It could be wrong though, if He's actually been fit for longer than that. I would still be concerned about his mentality if he can't get himself together to play every time he wants a new contract!

Great player who would improve us instantly, but he does have a bit of baggage attached in the form of injuries and attitude. I guess Virgil did too though and we still shelled out a reported £75m for him!

{Ed001's Note - you are missing the point or not reading what I typed properly. He is being left out, like Danny Rose, not because of his head but because Poch is freezing them out.}

9.) 21 Mar 2018 12:24:13
If a top class centre back is available, we have to at least try to get him. However I honestly don't see us signing a centre back this summer as we have other positions that are of higher priority.

10.) 21 Mar 2018 12:11:32
Ahh I misunderstood Ed. I thought you meant he was refusing to play to get a new contract.

Fair play to Poch if that is the case. It doesn't seem very clever on the face of it to cut your nose off to spite your face, but it does send a message out to the squad that he won't tolerate a lack of commitment on or off the pitch.

{Ed001's Note - does it? I fail to see how. It just seems like he is wasting their best assets by having them sit on the bench while players that are simply not good enough in Davies and Sanchez are playing instead. For me, the reason they are not second again is because they have not had Walker, Rose and Alderweireld for most of the season, for varying reasons and had to make do with inferior players. Markedly inferior.}

11.) 21 Mar 2018 13:03:25
I guess it's the old catch 22 with young players ed001 - when do you give them the chance to develop and when do you need your best team out there no matter what (more regarding Sanchez than Davies) . I guess at the point where the title became a pipe dream and 2-4 doesn't make a huge amount of difference Ponch decided that developing for an undisrupted next seasons title chanllenge was the priority (possibly also having heard that he would not be able to reinvest all the money on a new CB so would be dealing with a potentially inferior option there anyway) .

{Ed001's Note - but Sanchez is not a good player and no amount of development is going to make half the defender Alderweireld is. And you are wrong, it was the moment Alderweireld rejected a contract offer his die was cast.}

12.) 21 Mar 2018 14:16:42
If Alderweireld is available then we would be nuts not to at least make an enquiry about him. When fit, is one of the top two CB's in the Premier League, IMO.

13.) 21 Mar 2018 14:50:59
Give potch lallana and we take alderweireld. Win win for everyone.

14.) 21 Mar 2018 15:22:34
MK, I would take Toby tomorrow as he is better than all of our CB's and is a leader on the pitch. He's the reason why Spurs are very solid cos when he plays, there is a diff. look to Spurs defence. His replacement Sanchez is a donkey and tho young, he'd better improve big time.

Also MK, Ed is correct. Toby, Walker and Rose, are a big reason for the Spur resurgence recently. That much is fact. Now, if Poch is freezing them out cos they refuse to sign a new contract in the case of Toby and Rose, while playing donkeys like Aurier, Trippier (in place of Walker), Davies (inferior to Rose) and the perennially awful Sanchez, then that is poor management esp. if Toby has been fit for weeks. Why play inferior players just to prove some stupid point? It's as if Klopp benched a fully fit Can who can play and help us quite a lot this season just cos he's off in May? That would make no sense.

15.) 21 Mar 2018 17:27:55
Alderweireld won't sign unless he gets paid the same as Van Dijk, according to the Echo. You really can't make these things up. oh wait.

16.) 21 Mar 2018 17:42:13
BRover but spurs are ahead of us. Aren’t they? Those donkey players have been good. You are calling evetyine donkey lol! According to you nobody beats Klopp lol!

Well Poch had the balls to drop big babes who did not want to sign an extension and commit to the club!
Don’t we hate Sterling for the very same thing Rose did?

If someone doesn’t want to commit to the club then they can go! It’s your own words!

So if Salah gives an interview to Sky on wanting a huge pay raise, Would you play him?

17.) 21 Mar 2018 18:21:13
Harry, what does Spurs being ahead of us (by 1 pint by the way) have anything remotely possible to do with Poch dropping better players than the ones he's using, cos they refuse to sign new contracts?

Also if he wants to cut his nose to spite his face, that's his problem and frankly, that is stupid cos it makes no sense and there is nothing bally about cutting your nose to spite your face esp. in the long term. Those players will leave and he has shown that he is quite poor in the TW as well cos majority of the Spurs top players were already there before he came.

Salah deserves a pay rise and so does Toby and that is just fact and if Salah does not get it, it's our loss as he wants to stay. So do Toby and Rose. On the other hand, Can is off in the summer and we all know he is off to Juve BUT has that stopped Klopp from playing him and making him capt. at times? NO. You know why? Cos Klopp does not care and does not hold grudges like your boy Poch. Just ask Mario Goetze after he left BVB for Bayern when they were both crying in each other's arms.

18.) 21 Mar 2018 18:34:10
Lads don't want to get in the middle of a domestic but just pointing out we are ahead of spurs by 2 points. Please continue.

19.) 21 Mar 2018 18:41:13
Correct IR. 👍.

20.) 21 Mar 2018 20:11:19
My bad, IR.

21.) 21 Mar 2018 21:07:03
Just want to add a couple of things:

The managers responsibilities include performance on the pitch and results. To drop players because they want to move is bordering on negligent in my opinion. The fans deserve the best team, football and results possible.
If Poch’s judgement is those players are not focussed then that’s a different issue, however, it is his job to re-focus and motivate those players - not just freeze them out. Those players are taking tens of thousands of pounds a week in wages. Contrast Poch’s management of this situation with Klopp’s management of Coutinho and Can.

Finally, I don’t hate Sterling because he refused to sign a new contract and wanted a move. I dislike Sterling for the way he and his representative treated the club and our fans with a total lack of respect and professionalism whilst happily taking our money. It was the disparaging public statements which alienated him from our fans.

24 Feb 2018 18:07:37
I'm probably the only one that wants Man. Utd to draw/ win tomorrow. Would rather have them drop points elsewhere than have 2 teams on 56 points, just one behind us.
Good performance by the team today.
TAA is the player I really like though. I know Ed01 has said his future is in midfield, but I really like him playing as a full back. If we don't get a RB during the transfer window, I won't be displeased.

realtofel

1.) 24 Feb 2018 18:24:25
I agree with you mate, I want a draw too.

2.) 24 Feb 2018 18:59:03
Without a doubt we want a draw tomorrow. Jose tends to draw with the better teams so we have a good chance of them getting the result WE want.

3.) 24 Feb 2018 19:18:39
Usual hope : mass brawl in the tunnel, both teams fined and docked 10 points, players banned for rest of season.

Otherwise I’m not fussed 👍.

4.) 24 Feb 2018 19:46:20
City are heading that way fingers crossed. Sorry, always want united to lose. ALWAYS!

5.) 24 Feb 2018 19:46:21
That or meteor storm Ron!

6.) 24 Feb 2018 20:04:29
Maybe one day hey Ron. You can live in hope. Draw will be good but can see Chelsea nicking this one.

7.) 24 Feb 2018 20:32:14
It’s a horrible outcome either way.

I simply cannot ever envisage wanting Utd to win, unless it somehow helped us win a trophy.

Chelsea are just the blue Man U.

A draw would be best for us. with a couple of red cards each, particularly for DDG as he’s been like a smegging octopus for them against us recently!

8.) 24 Feb 2018 21:15:40
A draw is the ONLY result that would help us. A win for either side does not help us. Also, we need Spurs to screw up as well.

{Ed025's Note - liverpool just need to focus on what they are doing and forget other teams doing you any favours..

9.) 25 Feb 2018 01:33:35
Never want a united win, EVER.

10.) 24 Feb 2018 22:04:50
Again, agreed 100% ed025. I think if Liverpool can win 7/ 8 of our remaining 10 games we finish top 4, probably 2nd or 3rd. If we draw rather than lose the games we don't win I think it will be the difference that sees us finish 2nd.

I really feel if Southampton had sold Vvd in the summer we would be easily 2nd and not too far off City.

I will be disappointed if liverpool don't finish 2nd and make semi finals of ucl. Now that IS progress, all of a sudden people are talking about Liverpool and saying we can beat anyone over 2 legs and we have the ability to win ucl.

I was a bit disappointed that last summer we still failed to land some top targets despite us qualifying for ucl as we (to quote Danny Mills) "are not a big club" we ain't going to win the league this year but as long as we qualify for ucl next year I don't think we are going to have that same trouble. We simply must finish top 4. If we do and we keep all current players I think we will win the league next season.

Klopp has learned from last season. Last term we blew out by january/ February. This year he has rotated and kept the top boys fit. Fair play Jurgen, top man, top manager.

{Ed025's Note - liverpool are a very strong side SS and with a couple of additions i too believe they will be vying for the league next season, a top keeper and a quality playmaker and the world is your lobster mate..

11.) 24 Feb 2018 22:05:39
I agree Ed, 2nd is there if we do our job, as we still have both teams to play.

{Ed025's Note - very much so keith..

12.) 24 Feb 2018 22:58:04
Agreed ed0025.

13.) 24 Feb 2018 23:51:24
Agreed Ed025, a 0-3 humiliation would suit just fine. Several punctures moanrinho’s bus setting them up nicely for a defeat on away goals in UCL too. ⚽️🙏👌.

{Ed025's Note - the way i see it only de gea out of united,s team gets in the liverpool side 68, the reds are a top team whereas united are 11 individuals who play together, i just hope you dont pay them any respect and go to old trafford with the mindset of winning mate..

14.) 25 Feb 2018 08:34:49
Suspect it will be a draw which suits me. If it means we gain 2 points on Chelsea then great.

Also hoping we can deal with Newcastle and play brilliantly at Old Trafford and get a famous win.

15.) 25 Feb 2018 08:43:00
Hope so to buddy and agree De Gea would make us real title contenders, he’s carried the other 10 on his back for season after season.

16.) 25 Feb 2018 14:24:21
All I want is 3 points vs newcastle!

14 Feb 2018 22:20:06
Not saying we'll win the UCL, but I think we're the best team in Europe in one-off matches and that's what you need to win the UCL.
I can see us going further than the QFinals.

realtofel

1.) 14 Feb 2018 22:36:56
On that performance we can go very far. So delighted with that result I didn't expect it at all, we showed we mean business tonight.

2.) 14 Feb 2018 22:39:54
Now, that was a welcome surprise. I did not know we could even score 2 at Porto w/ o conceding and we scored 5 (could have been more) w/ o conceding. Bravo to the boys, the away fans and the coaching staff for a job well done.

Now the great thing about this win and the score line is that we play Utd after the second leg so Klopp can actually rotate in the second leg so the boys can be ready for the trip to Utd that weekend as this tie, is pretty much done and dusted.

3.) 14 Feb 2018 23:14:38
You're right guys, we shortened our odds tonight, that's for sure.

4.) 14 Feb 2018 23:06:41
That's a great point actually BRover and I agree it could've been more tonight, we played them off the park. So chuft it's unreal.

5.) 15 Feb 2018 01:10:52
Our high press, lethal counter attacking football has the ideal ingredients for knockout football so there's definitely optimism when it comes to our chances of going far in this competition!

6.) 15 Feb 2018 02:38:54
I would urge caution, all this talk of resting players and the tie is done stuff. We have seen this season the jeckyl and hyde nature of this team. Porto should not be taken lightly and we should show them their due respect in the second leg. We play our full strenght team on the night and see who is left standing for the United game.

7.) 15 Feb 2018 04:37:46
Ye we should still bring a professional approach to the 2nd leg. Porto aren't a pub team after all. Also think we should pump the breaks on crowning ourselves "best of" or "best in" anything. We've not earned anything yet. in with a shout of course, but until we do it again and again we don't deserve that kind of accolade.

It is surely common sense, with 5 away goals, to rest a few key players and give some fringe players the chance to impress - especially given we have a key game against United at the weekend? If Klopp plays a full strength side and, say, Salah or Firmino gets injured fans will bemoan him for not resting players. The result gives us the luxury of rotation, its not about lack of respect, its about being smart and makuing sure our key players are available for an important league game. Also did you honestly see anything from Porto to suggest they will overturn a 5 goal deficit?

{Ed0333's Note - I suspect Solanke, Ings, Gomez, Lallana, Milner, Moreno will play with a strong bench. I wouldn’t play the 3 offensive titans from the start.

I'd be fine with that, give the players a chance to shine and rest the key players for the bigger test. I can't believe some posters object to this to be honest.

Not a hope in hell FC Porto will score 6 in Anfield even with a weakened Liverpool team.

I rekon let mane play, feel like he needs the rhythm.

I think he can play the role we want Fekir for. Won't mind him if we don't get Fekir.

I think most persons are looking at this lightly.
As an example, in the NBA finals, a player (Kevin Love) suffered a concussion and the NBA wasn't going to allow him to play the next 2 games. One was two days after the concussion, the other was 5 days after the concussion.
A concussion isn't just a slight bump. I think medical teams should try to be more aware of these things. Players would always want to continue playing. Blaming Karius isn't the ideal thing.

Robertson is a good player. Not "great" yet and he may not get there. I think he gets all the hype cos he's from the UK and no-one can remember the last time Liverpool had a LB.
However, I don't know if there's any LB in the league that I'll take ahead of him. I like my defenders to defend first and Robertson does that well.
He's not a top-tier full back yet in the mold of Lahm or Zanetti, but how many have their been in the last few years.

Pulisic doesn't have a guaranteed starting spot for BVB. Coming to Liverpool will have him with the same team role as BVB.
I have watched him over the past 2 seasons and he's special.
He isn't in a hurry to leave BVB though. BVB aren't looking to sell him. Don't think his contract is expiring soon. Which means we might have to pay through our nose for him.
Personally, I feel it might be difficult to get the backup we want for the front 3. The good young ones that will settle for a squad role will be very expensive. The good adult ones will want to be starters.

In my opinion, Ed01, I would keep him at right back long term. Agreed that this season is the first I've seen him week in week out and didn't followed his development prior to this season, but if we get another RB, I would hope it's because Clyne is leaving.

I'll agree with you BRover that he isn't Ronaldo at 19. But his development in the past 2 seasons has been unbelievable. How many 19 year olds since Ronaldo have we seen on this level? Not Messi/ CR7. If Mbappe is disciplined, he can be another Ronaldo.

Just saw another video of Karius spilling the ball during practice. I think he lacks the fundamental goalkeeping skill of putting his body behind the ball. He's not letting his upper body help him when catching.
I think he needs to be allowed to go on loan or he should be sold. The problem is not just that fans of other clubs would try to rile him up. It's the fact that Liverpool fans would absolutely crucify him when he makes a mistake - whether it leads to a goal or not.

He is better than a young Henry. He's a young Ronaldo (Brazilian) . And he can be as good as Ronaldo.

Aquilani for me as a surprise flop. He looked like a fantastic player. Thought he would develop as well as Modric has done now.
Surprise for me was Xabi Alonso. Never saw him play till he joined Liverpool.

He earned the money and can spend it the way he wants. Like Floyd Mayweather says, "I earned it, I didn't steal it".
If he keeps works hard in training and performs superbly everytime, I don't care if the tiles in his bathroom are personalised.
