I'd love to see Beck given a chance as backup, if he excels in the first team the same way Bradley has then the future looks very bright indeed. At the same time though, I'd be sad to see Tsimikas go - he's a more than capable backup to Robertson and seems to be a good guy as well.

So when would you start playing youngsters then @Scouse John? Would you hold back Bradley and Elliot and Baj and Quansah for 2 or 3 years? After all they are only 20 / 21? I think that if a player is ready then age doesn’t matter and the preparation the days is a lot more comprehensive than it was in days gone by.

How old is Cole Palmer? Look what regular football has done for him. 20/ 21 year olds are ready for regular game time, provided they are not overplayed and run into the ground, which could happen with a smaller / Non City like squad.
If we had bought Gvardiol, as myself and others were calling for, Quansah would have had very little game time this season and would probably be moving off to somewhere like Bournmouth for 15m, to go on and become a top-class CB.

Mo Salah and Darwin nunez have been modelling the new training kits and home kit for Liverpool which you'd expect pictures of at the club store and stadium which would indicate both are staying, no sign of luis Diaz so maybe he's the one moving on?

I wouldn't mind him going if we replace him. He tries hard and works hard but he lacks the bits that really matter for his position.
Salah is Salah and next season is the crunch one for Nunez.
Of the other two, I like Jota as a cover player but he needs to be there most of all and I'm not sure about Gakpo yet. He underwhelms me but he probably deserves a chance under the new manager.
But they all for sale if the money is right ?.

I think Slotball will suit Diaz well.
He got a good tune out of his compatriot Sinisterra at Feyernood (before his move to Leeds) .
I think the wide players will be asked to do more and this will suit Diaz whereas it won’t suit Salah who has played more like a right forward for us under klopp.
Salah will either move centrally or be sold imo.

I think Diaz should be sold. But he’s not the only one. We need a champions league squad, it’s currently lacking quality and the likes of Jota, Konate, Jones etc these lads need moving on if they can’t stay fit, massive liabilities.
If Salah goes, we need goals.

If Diaz leaves then i wouldn't buy an attacker . Gakpo should play there . over the last 2 months he seems to have found some rhythm. looks more aggressive n works hard . jota can play anywhere along the front n Danns can be used aswel.

Simply reddd, Im not sure that's how cut and dry this is. Keep in mind that these kit photo shoots may have been done weeks or even months ago so not sure if this correlates with who is staying and who is going.
On a personal level, Darwin ain't going anywhere and Im not sure he is looking to leave that desperately either. Diaz and Salah rumours are there so we will see how things shake out.
Also, remember that with a new manager coming in and he may want to have a good look at these players and then decide and even then, not all the players you or I want to leave are going to leave in one summer cos at the end of the day, you still need a squad and players to fill it.

This is Klopps squad so the new manager is bound to want to come in and put his stamp on it.
No doubt there will be casualties to the squad over the next 3-4 windows.
Truth is though that this current squad will be a far better group of players than Slot has ever worked with.

I understand a little what Bean is saying.
We often say that Klopp is the best manager in the world and only he could do what he did against Peps City.
Unfortunately we only bettered Pep once in the league and won the CL on that amazing night. But Klopp is leaving and a new man is coming in.
So either no other manager can do what Klopp did and it means we’ll continue to fall short or Slot needs to prove he can actually do better than what Klopp did.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Slot brings but I wouldn’t bet my house on it being a success.
Can we realistically expect a title challenge next season with a new man. As I’d imagine Trent, Salah and Vvd etc would want to be title challengers when it comes to discussing their new contracts.

Ron, I was talking about the front four. I wouldn't sell Salah unless we got a good offer and he wanted to go. I don't think he wants to go to the Saudi league. There are few players that I would class as not for sale. Alisson, van Dijk, TAA would be three and I wouldn't be courting offers for Salah.
If we can improve on Alisson, van Dijk and TAA, I'd sell they would be the hardest to replace, for me.

If we had Bobby over nunez this season and our winger tucked in like the olden days we’d have definitely done better, 90 + points for 3 seasons and 3 ucl finals. If the premier league acted promptly and punished city we would have 3 more prems at least and probably a couple as fa cups. Klopp achieved more in 9 years than saf did in his first 9.

I’d imagine he would play left back allowing Trent to roam into midfield and the defence shuffle over to make a 3 as that’s arnes preferred system not sure where that leaves robbo or beck maybe another loan for beck and robbo as back up because of injuries.

He’s also a one trick pony who can’t make a 5 yard pass, he had a decent shot and runs a lot but not intelligent running like hendo or milner he runs needlessly. Average player for me and same as Trent he needs to improve all the other parts of his game if he is to make it, we should have gone for wirtz instead.

Judging from slots tactics Trent will be staying at rb inverting, I think if we sign pacho he will be left back and play like gvardoil ake at city making a back 3 while Trent sits in midfield not sure where that leaves Robertson.
