Evening eds, surely the stories linking liverpool with Andreas Christensen are way off the mark. Too slow, not left footed and at the suggested 40 mil we should be nowhere near him.

Why is Bayern trying to move Kimmich on though? Sure he’s not at the level of Lahm but how many full backs are? And Kimmich is a very good player with plenty of top level experience.

Just thinking back on the game and the fact that the non goal has helped gloss over the refs total utter incompetence.
Jones red, van de veen challenge on Joe (no ball won in the box) jota 1st yellow, spurs player while on a yellow waving an imaginary card to get jota booked, foul against mo and yellow card for protesting.
5 game changing decisions and none went our way. I understand in games you get the rub of the green but seriously that was unbelievable. He really isn't fit for purpose!

The phrase “having a mare” doesn’t quite do that justice.
It’s a horrible balancing act we need to try to achieve at the moment.
On the one hand our refs aren’t respected enough and that needs to be stamped down on.
On the other hand - the standard of refereeing is also so poor right now.

There were so many poor decisions in that game you couldn't list them all the times when when were on the arrack and he brought play backto the half way line. We actually had a corner and he brought it back. At the time we were looking dangerous from corners.

Also don't forget Maddison constantly onto the ref on every decision as well, by his side asking for our players to be booked.

Eric I couldn't believe that esp a man down and 1-1 set piece to us. The biggest one for me tho was when Mo mugged Bissouma in the spurts box and had one defender to beat w Diaz available. I'm certain that would have been 1-2 to us.
People go for and against "predetermined outcomes" and I hate to think it could be in play. But it has been before in other leagues and the amount of not even controversial decisions that went against us in just this one game could raise even the most dismissive of eyebrows.

Redflyer, there was a match fixing scandal in the PL in the early 90's with Bruce Grobelaar and John Fashanu involved so people saying this is not a possibility in the PL, need to go do some research. If it happened once, it could happen again esp. with the type of money involved in the game and how betting is rampant in football right now.

Rabh defend refs all you like but Tierney has previous and therefore his incompetence needs questioned. As MK pointed out Klopp too has publicly questioned him. no one can forget spurs - Kane not being send off and Robertson getting send off. (both reds btw) and also in that game jota was shoved in the back for a clear pen which wasn't awarded.
last night he was at it again - if you allow semedo to shoulder charge jota off the ball then you must allow the consequences of that action to happen ie he falls into the player - imo they were "football incidents" which when the agenda suits would be allowed. As for the Fab yellow - it further demonstrates that he knows nothing about football - Lemina slid after a poor touch - fab gets himself side on to take the ball and shield it, Lemina doesn't touch the ball and gets nowhere near it - For Var to then check that it was only a yellow was unbelievable.
