Eds, Liverpool's recruitment team has had a year to work on targets. Richard Hughes, Michael Edwards, and Arne Slot would have put in work even before joining in June. With potential targets in the Copa America and Euros having just 1-3 games left, why haven't we seen any movement in the transfer window?

As I read your post Ed, Liv interest in Gordon is more serious than just an inquiry. I read somewhere that Newcastle would want to include Quansah in some way into any deal regarding Gordon and that's why Liv are backing down for now. Is that true or just a bluff?

Ed002 - have Newcastle got any interest in any other players other than Quansah/ who is it we would be looking to include? With regards to Yoro has that progressed any further or is it very much he is still set on going to Madrid?

I’d hope we don’t waste any more time on Yoro. No pount pursuing a player who will never play for us or simply doesn’t want to. Almost as daft as going after Tchouameni, Bellingham or Caicedo.

The three that could make sense would be Kelleher, VDB, Carvalho Sep makes the most sense since it looks like there after a CB.

Can’t lie, wouldn’t mind Gordon, I know he looks like Clare Balding, but he’s done well at Newcastle, he’s quick, direct, scores goals, creates chances, is a bit of a s***house, is English, and most importantly he’s a huge Liverpool supporter, a local lad and is apparently desperate to join, I think he’d absolutely bust a gut for us every game.

I think he'd be fantastic for us, not just because he's a good player, but also because he always looks to me like he gives his all on the pitch and like you said, the lad looks desperate to punt on the red shirt so he'd give 110% for us.
Ship out Diaz and anyone else who doesn't want to be in the club and give that spot to Gordon 100%.

Kelleher or Gomez are the 2 positions Newcastle need, would offer them, decent price tag on them too.

Not sure Kelleher makes much sense unless they sell Pope. They just bought another GK from Forest the other day.
