Can't wait for Ed,1s match review watching again will be brilliant and maybe not so brilliant.
1.) 25 Feb 2024 20:36:27
I hope he doesn't have to re watch it. Glad of the win proud of the team to get the win.
Let's hope some of these under 21 players can become important part of the team and do a good job for the next manager.
2.) 25 Feb 2024 23:11:23
Negative, some of them U-21’s just helped win a major cup mate - they’ve already been playing an important part in getting us there all season.
3.) 25 Feb 2024 23:57:39
Why would he not want to rewatch it? I’ve watched it again already! Another glorious piece of history being made and the future of the club already lifting a trophy! If you can’t enjoy that Negative then you really should find another pastime.
4.) 26 Feb 2024 01:13:09
I've already rewatched it too. Surprised to see you show your face here today Neggy after what you've said about Klopp in the past. Shame on you.
5.) 26 Feb 2024 09:05:35
Stoneage. Hypocrisy is rampant with some of the guys over here, and they don't even notice it. We've just won a hard fought Cup final, we have some ways to go in the league season (while being on top no less), and he's already looking past Klopp. Pathetic.
6.) 26 Feb 2024 09:54:39
Guys, we won. This is not the time for recriminations and all that even tho I agree, some on this thread ("I hope he doesn't have to re- watch it". Abject nonsense) . Up Da Pool!
02 Dec 2023 17:15:23
Hope alls well Ed1.
{Ed001's Note - all good thanks mate, how about with you?}
1.) 03 Dec 2023 03:07:40
Watching the news that Philippines get into another strong earthquake Ed1. Hoping all is well and you and you your family are not affected.
{Ed001's Note - it must not have hit this island mate as I never noticed. We are all fine, well they all have flu but it is flu season here.}
30 Sep 2023 16:36:01
This could be a good day if we win.
1.) 30 Sep 2023 17:05:38
I'm saying nothing until after the Spurs game.
2.) 30 Sep 2023 17:05:57
If. Such a small word but such a humongous meaning.
3.) 30 Sep 2023 17:21:50
I appreciate it is devastating for you to see Liverpool do well Walter.
Tell us again how Klopp is damaging his own legacy by staying?
4.) 30 Sep 2023 18:30:42
Well not getting top four last season is a start. A failure to address tactical errors. Keep conceding first is another.
Having hissy fits with the media making himself look a fool. Silly excuses when results don't go out way. Too wet pitch to dry too windy
Keeping Naby not selling players at the right time. There's a long list but I am not the best typer so will leave it at that
On a side note I will be so happy if we nick this game.
5.) 30 Sep 2023 20:34:52
No, you won't Walter. Some over here may take a liking to your cute and exotic views, but you can't pull the wool over everybody's eyes.
6.) 30 Sep 2023 20:57:22
You guys got robbed today! Was confused when the VAR lines weren't shown on Sky, could tell from a mile away Diaz was onside.
7.) 30 Sep 2023 21:00:17
For me, Klopp's legacy is winning the League for the first time in thirty years, winning the CL, winning the FA Cup and winning the League Cup. Playing some sensational football in beating United 7-0 at our place, 0-5 at their place and beating Barcelona 4-0 having lost the first leg 3-0.
I'd forgotten about Navy Keita.
8.) 30 Sep 2023 21:06:31
PGMOL have already come out and said he was onside. its disgusting.
9.) 30 Sep 2023 21:56:42
VAR is a disgrace off side and red card. Spurs were winning with help after the other results today.

Hi Ed001 I'am about to start being the manager of my lads U14's team.
I was hoping you might be able to suggest a training book.
I'am not really interested in something to technical as I don't think kid's need it. I was after a book with skills and drills that keep kids involved and obviously smiling, anything would be help.
Thanks Alfres.
{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head I can't think of any, but it is worth taking a look at the coaches voice website. I know they do webinars etc to teach about coaching. I am sure they have session plans and practices for all levels on there, though you do have to pay a subscription fee. But it might well be worth it.}
1.) 20 Sep 2023 20:21:46
Good shout Ed
Coaches voice is great and there are plenty of drills on FB and the like
My biggest piece of advice would be to see what the team are like first and gauge what they can do- and need to improve
And whatever they do - make sure they enjoy it.
2.) 20 Sep 2023 20:45:02
Thanks Ed I'll take a look.
3.) 20 Sep 2023 21:57:40
@AlF. You might want to give Seven Hag a call - looks like he might be free at weekends in the not too distant future ?.
4.) 21 Sep 2023 09:18:35
What about the pep linders book?
5.) 21 Sep 2023 12:43:49
@ALfred. I coached grass roots for 10 years. From u6s to u16s. When they get to u14s the games turn super competitive. My advice would be to go down and soeak to the local academy director. they'll have a lot of good training drills also they'll have some u17s - u19s that would like to get involved and would possibly come down and do a few sessions for you. The skills sessions always go down well.

Good article on BBC sport about how transfer's work. Very interesting how different club's do different things.
1.) 10 Aug 2023 23:26:19
OP, each transfer is unique in its own way, imo. Hence, there is no one size fits all approach to this process cos things can go crazy and fast while in other times, they can go slowly and then accelerate out of nowhere or gather pace and then, just die off and the deal falls thru. It is what it is.
2.) 10 Aug 2023 23:57:09
I remember the days when transfers were for your arm during the school holidays. We wouldn't put them on our face, neck or behind our ears though.
Football transfers you would read about on the back page of the paper with the newly acquired player holding up a scarf of his newly acquired club.
We didn't bother with the negotiations or sourcing of targets.
It was great. Unlike the transfers for your arm.
3.) 11 Aug 2023 09:35:56
Agreed Rigsby. sky tv changed all that pal.
17 Mar 2024 13:37:48
I'am with you Ed it would be great for the, brilliant events could be put on bringing lots of needed revenue. As you say maybe it could have been around 80,000- 85,000 seats, split the costs more sustainable for both clubs.
{Ed025's Note - im with you Alf, i think we missed a trick there mate, imagine a stadium that was state of the art with great transport links and a credit to this great city that could have been the envy of every European club mate, all the top European finals and internationals as well as great music stars..it would have been great imo..
30 Mar 2023 15:19:45
Hey ed25 you need to replace the old boiler with a Heat Pump.
{Ed025's Note - i just need a newer model Alfred, one with more output and a bit cheaper to run mate.. :)
13 Jul 2022 17:42:59
It would ne exciting, for the South African owner.
{Ed0666's Note - Nando’s is South African owned yes but Peri Peri chicken is of Portuguese origin is it not?
17 Nov 2024 15:45:44
Love your articles just a shame you don't have more time for them.
{Ed001's Note - thank you AF. I am trying to get more organised to do more.}
05 Nov 2024 13:34:13
The Ref in this game reminds of the Refs in my lads U15s matches. They always let some fouls go and generally don't book anyone. The league brought in sin bins this season and in our 2nd match, an opposition player was sin binned with minutes to go for swearing at the ref. Well done to LFC for being top of the League.
07 Sep 2024 08:15:17
Hi Ed you got to love that story.
{Ed001's Note - it is astonishing how he got away with it.}
09 Jul 2024 13:28:27
Apparently it was 20 years ago, so everythings ok. Nothing to see hear just like everything that's wrong with sport these days.
25 Jun 2024 21:57:48
Best England player so far. Not hard I know.
