That was truly awful, Bradley was outstanding against Madrid but today again it was like he does not know what a fullbacks job is stop crosses close people down he does none of that and offers nothing going forward. Midfield was so passive it was unreal.

Lol. Not one of those 3 goals we conceded had anything to do with bradley. Complete airhead. Watches doku run at bradley, and thinks yep bradley was to blame today. Maybe rewatch the highlights.

09 Nov 2025 20:00:28
Don't think Bradley can be blamed for any of them goals today. Sometimes you have credit to the opposition player, Doku was very good today.

09 Nov 2025 20:27:01
I mean he was totally exposed and got absolutely embarrassed by Doku
Can't see how anyone could say anything different after that game.

09 Nov 2025 20:28:42
Nearly everything came down Bradley’s side Doku had an easy game because Bradley never put one tackle in on him.
If you can’t see this in nearly every game this season Batman if you was a airhead someone let the air out of your head.

And you need to watch Bradley in Tuesday and then again today to totally different games today he defended worse than Trent on a bad day but offered nothing going forward and him and Konate as a pair are dreadful and defend like league two players.

09 Nov 2025 20:33:24
We needed to double up on Doku like they did on Wirtz. Take away the inside and force him out. Bradley did well at times. I thought he put in a ton of effort and work today. If we're pointing fingers I know we're I'd be pointing them. Scoring two long range shots and a free header shouldn't be happening.

09 Nov 2025 20:50:13
I thought Bradley did a very good job against Doku. He went past him once when he got a lucky ricochet off Bradley’s legs. Otherwise he stuck to his task well and got forward in the second half putting some dangerous balls across the box.

The problem was the other side. Wirtz and Robbo just standing off and allowing the cross to come in.

Konate not just heading it clear. Even then it was extremely fortunate it hit Haaland and looped in.

We were asleep at a corner for the second goal. Had them penned in over on our left side for the third goal but let them get out and the space opened up for Doku.

Bradley had nothing to do with any of that and was probably our best player on the day.

09 Nov 2025 21:39:01
The first goal was Virgil and Robbos fault. During the phase of play they ended up in each others positions then decided to swap back when the danger wasn’t properly clear, that's why they had so much time and space to put the cross in. Robbo could have covered a bit more ground to get closer but really they should have held the positions they were in until the ball was properly cleared.

Total lack of awareness and proper communication. The second goal was a bit unlucky, we have scored a couple similar the last few weeks, although Virgil probably should have done better.

09 Nov 2025 21:41:40
When salah has the ball the defenders double up on him. but we left Bradley 1on1 with Doku all the time . n let's face it he easily goes past most defenders. the main reason we got beat was because of Konate.

his fault for the pen n goal. n his general play was atrocious but Slot won't drop him fr some reason no matter how bad he is . Gomez can plat there . he's actually fit to play.

10 Nov 2025 03:48:23
Scots, Konate should have cleared what was a routine header. Not Virgil's fault at all. City created nothing from that side. They focused entirely on Konate and Bradley. Bradley acquitted himself well. Remember last year Doku dribbled by Trent 11 times. Slot didn't have a plan for him and it showed.

10 Nov 2025 07:24:22
Sorry Grino but you are wrong regarding Bradley. It was clear that Salah was told to stay high up the pitch, so when O'Reilly was flying forward, it left Bradley isolated, and with a dilemma - did he commit and stick with Doku, or drop off him and pick up O'Reilly charging forward instead? You simply can’t pin the blame on Bradley.

10 Nov 2025 08:52:25
Red, if you watch it back you will see what I was meaning about their build up to the goal. If virg had stayed at left back until ball was totally cleared or we had safe possession then the cross doesn’t or shouldn’t have been able to played in. Konate should have cleared the header but the whole situation was avoidable.

09 Nov 2025 19:08:21
Desperately poor 1st half much better 2nd half. Just to easy played against and threw which has been prob all season.
Even tho we wouldn't have deserved the equaliser from vvd it was a horrendous decision with the way offsides are decided nowadays and crucial in the game, if we hadve equalised before half time having played so bad it wouldn't been real slap in mouth for city and huge boost for us.

Gakpo bad miss at 2-0 killed us altogether.
That the league gone hopefully we can get top 4.

09 Nov 2025 19:19:56
Digger . you're reaching there if you think we were much better in the 2nd half . the 1st half was so poor that anything better might have seemed like a much improved 2nd half . but sadly not . n it was Konate who killed us today not Gakpo's miss.

09 Nov 2025 19:51:25
I think City just sat back a lot more in the second half. They didn't create many clear cut chances that i remember but with Konate in such fine fettle they didn't need to. As soon as he gave away the pen i knew we were in for a long day.

09 Nov 2025 18:36:46
It's time for Slot to show some courage and drop Salah. His form is atrocious. He's a passenger and offers nothing currently.
AFCON will force his hand but I'd like to see action ASAP.
I'd prefer a formation change, rather than simply playing Frimpong or Szobo on the right.

I'd like to see Wirtz behind Ekitike and Isak. With a midfield 3 behind offering protection and width from the fbs.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it looks like Salah's monster contact was a mistake.

09 Nov 2025 18:51:53
Yep said that a the time. We should have let Mo go in the summer . It so obvious that he would get the contract then his form would fall off a cliff. he's what 33 now, its not easy to maintain those levels .

09 Nov 2025 18:52:41
Totally agree with salah being dropped. I have been saying this for weeks, salah needs to be dropped. I’d even play Harvey Elliott when he returns from loan over salah.

09 Nov 2025 19:19:28
Honestly, the thought of Wirtz playing in the centre, in the most congested area of the pitch, fills me with dread. Wirtz lacks both the pace and the strength to withstand opposition pressure and/ or challenges, he is maneuvered off the ball so often that it has become laughable.

Then again, I have no idea where he would be best suited because I genuinely don't think he can hack it in the Prem, regardless of position. Every position, the minimum requirement is to either evade or absorb impact, and Wirtz doesn't seem capable of that.

Personally, I think Liverpool's best 11 doesn't involve Wirtz, at all. Which is insane when you consider the money spent on him. He is a downgrade on Szobo in almost every department.

09 Nov 2025 19:20:51
Today Salah was our best player. the only one who had a go.

09 Nov 2025 19:29:38
Wirtz is looking like Elliot. Nice touches but lacking the physicality and mobility to actually play a position in a LFC team. Add to that Salah not running at all and we are carrying too may players.

09 Nov 2025 19:32:00
Mo and a few others seem not to have the mental or physical ability to play the high quality and high physicality back to back games.

With Mo specifically it does also look like age has caught up with him, in the tougher away league matches particularly. He can probably still do it in Europe or home league games though.

The prem at top level is a pace and power game, pretty much for the full 90 minutes, there’s no hiding place. Tough to take but it happens to the greats eventually. Even VVD is not quite at the level, and the likes of Doku are so fast and physical it only takes a small drop off to be caught short.

09 Nov 2025 19:53:59
Wirtz is gradually getting up to speed but is not being utilised correctly by Slot. As the previous poster suggested Wirtz needs to sit behind a front two of Ekitike and Isak with a strong 3 man midfield in behind to run and protect. Width should be coming from Kerkez and Bradley or Robbo and Frimpong. Salah can be class but his minutes need to be managed and surely shouldn’t be playing 3 games in a row in quick succession.

I maintain we keep Gakpo, Salah and Chiesa to rotate the front two positions. Many will argue that you can’t have a player like Salah on the bench on his contract but results and performances are what count not what numbers are wrote on your payslip.

09 Nov 2025 20:27:24
Makes sense that in terms of rotation in attacking positions and team shape for certain games, but I also think we’re having a major struggle because of our inability to rotate in centre mid or centre back. Our transfer business there has been really poor.

Macca doesn’t seem to be able to play back to back, Gravs a bit inconsistent this season, Konate off form most weeks, VVD declining, so with the fixtures we’ve had it’s been tough.

Difficult times until Jan I suspect, although at least we have some easier fixtures coming up.

09 Nov 2025 20:45:58
We are heavily reliant on Salah. I genuinely think the team would be better off without Salah sad as it may seem.

The team has to evolve just as it evolved when we sold Coutinho during Klopp era.

Then the faster we get a cb to replace Konate, the better.

09 Nov 2025 18:33:45
Yeah, p. poor. I'm not happy with the performance, body language of some players or the complete lack of any plan. This team cannot keep under-performing like this.

09 Nov 2025 18:36:45
I mean, one shot on target is embarrassing. Its one thing to lose but at least show some effort to get a goal.

09 Nov 2025 18:39:53
In the words of Mick McCarthy . " It can".

09 Nov 2025 18:45:34
They’ve checked out mate. Prems over. All we can hope for is February we’re ready for the European knockouts.

I can’t see us getting top 4-5 me. We’re miles off it. We’ve seen this group “tools down” in the past, and we might’ve seen it again today there.

09 Nov 2025 18:52:05
We lost at home to United and the manager wasn’t sacked. We can’t have a worse result than that this season we set a precedent that losing is ok that day.

09 Nov 2025 20:58:07
Seems very little fight in the team. Losing out on so many challenges. Seems a lack of aggression, desire and effort to win the ball. Which are miminum requirements to be in a team.

09 Nov 2025 18:33:02
Bloody Hell. That was grim.

Top 4 . the most realistic goal (still tough)

No chance Red mate, barely scrap top 6 or 8 at this rate. Will no doubt disrespect the FA Cup and play a wierd mix of youth and youth in that so can count that out as a trophy to win. The only thing that can save this season now is sack Slot.

See if someone that will actually train in between games wants the job, my choice is Zidane, get everyone fit for the new year, get Isak firing, see if we can get the lad from Palace in in January and go all out for the CL.

09 Nov 2025 18:44:08
Put all our energy into the FA Cup, because no chance of the league or CL.

09 Nov 2025 20:12:53
Zidane can't speak a word of the queen's English and he wants the France job anyway. Bradley had Vini Jr in his pocket mid week but struggled with Doku 🤷🏻. We were the better team on paper, quality in every position but we were so slow in our build up and the final ball was not there.

I would honestly cash in on Salah in January if a Saudi club comes calling and go get Semenyo or Olise. Adam Wharton or Baleba would be my midfield pick.
