Why would he want to leave? Madrid have won nothing this season and we are the champions of England. Also have you seen their midfield? There’s be too much competition. And if he did want to leave and Liverpool agree, it would be at a huge premium.

So just to clarify, Teams finishing between ninth and 16th in the league will be seeded for the play-off round.
They will face an unseeded team that finished between 17th and 24th in the table - with the seeded team also having the benefit of playing the second leg at home.
Sides will also be paired together in the draw, meaning that the two sides who finished ninth and 10th will be drawn against either the 23rd or 24th placed sides.
Teams who finished 11th and 12th will be drawn against either the 21st or 22nd-placed sides, and so on.
The eight winners from the play-offs will meet the teams who finished in the top eight from the initial league phase in the last-16, where the familiar theme of knockout rounds will run all the way to the final.

Not sure that is such a good idea playing a weakened side when we still need to get a point out of next two games to win the league part of the champions league.

If Konate doesn’t sign a new contract this summer, then he needs to be sold asap. The club has to be more ruthless and not be so soft when it comes to players. We can’t be held to ransom again.

@mkscouser I agree, would love chiesa to score the goal that wins us the title. I still think there is a player there, just needs a run of games. Hopefully if we win the title sooner rather than later, he’ll get a chance to start the last few games.

To be honest, trent has been the weak link in our defence all season…. every team we play always tries to focus on his side, for one reason only…. he can’t Defend and recently, he can’t even pass.
