Evening all.

This isn't first hand information, but I've been told by someone who has been very reliable in the past and has connections in Germany, but apparently Dortmund pulled out of Said El Mala deal because Liverpool have gone in for him hard and they think it'll be done quickly.

Let's watch this space.

Cheers for the info, Djimi. On that note, Dortmund's sporting director did say yesterday that they decided to pull back due to their latest offer being rejected. So we're going for another LW, even though we've already brought in Munoz and are about to get Barcola. A strange decision, if nothing else. Better than the Kubo suggestion somebody made earlier, though.

Liverpool's owners have agreed to sell around a third of the club to a consortium including billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

In a statement, Fenway Sports Group (FSG) confirmed it had entered into a "definitive agreement" for the sale of a "strategic minority investment" to 1892 Holdings.



The group is led by British-Indian millionaire businessman Amit Bhatia and also includes billionaire Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.

Bhatia is set to become Liverpool's vice-chairman, and will join an expanded board pending regulatory approval.

@racey, Je probably would do well there. A much stronger side defensively that works hard at it. He was exposed in our side, and immediately kicked to the curb. He's done well with his move to Germany, considering he was young and having been essentially cast aside by Slot.

He could have folded and allowed that time to impact him negatively, but it would seem he worked harder to improve.

I'm really annoyed.

Me and my mates were flying back from a few days in Vegas on a jet. Before we reached the Uk, we stopped to pickup an entourage. The main chap was all smiles and chatted constantly on the trip to Blackpool, whilst we were trying to maximise our kip.

When we landed, him and his boys muscled their way out and into a fleet of black Escalades.
