That Gakpo is a right player, Liverpool should sign him up to play with his twin brother.

That Gakpo looks like a very good player for the Netherlands, would like to see him in a LFC shirt. 😊
20 Jun 2026 21:08:19
He looks quite a good prospect, unlike his twin brother who played in red last term. Can we have this one instead?
20 Jun 2026 18:19:57
Brobbey acting like an old school striker/ poacher for the Dutch, drive and determination to get onto crosses, it's a joy to watch him.
20 Jun 2026 19:25:44
Can he play a false 9?
Brobbey could be our new Bobby.
20 Jun 2026 19:32:35
No lad. Nothing false about him. He's a beast. Love players like him.
Sunderland slapping 100m, not quite Drogba, but a good player.
20 Jun 2026 18:16:19.
Andrei Ratiu link seems plausible in my opinion.
Based in Spain for 3 years. Allegedly earmarked by our new Spanish Coach.
Relatively cheap release clause.
Experienced option compared to Bradley and Frimpong.
20 Jun 2026 19:56:48
And as he's linked to us, he's also injured.
20 Jun 2026 18:10:39
Gakpo putting a cross on with his left foot, if only he'd bothered to do that last season, we may have been less harsh on him.
20 Jun 2026 18:47:47
He's gone on the outside of his man 3 times and it's not yet halftime! I can't believe my eyes!!
20 Jun 2026 19:18:35
Maybe it was the tactics from Slot, not the player?
I remember him being a lot more direct, personally, when Klopp was manager.
20 Jun 2026 19:31:24
Refuse to criticise Gakpo or anyone whilst they played under that fraud last season.
20 Jun 2026 18:07:11
Hey folks
Not sure if your aware of this but Gakpo just used his left foot to cross the ball into the box.
“First time cross”.
No checking back on his right.
And it resulted in a goal.
(Mind blown).

Looking at the Netherlands team sheet and it looks like they have 3 Van's parked in defence.
20 Jun 2026 15:01:56
Liverpool are apparently in talks with Rayo Vallecano over their Romanian RB, Andrei Ratiu.
He turned 28 years old today, and has a release clause of €25m. Barcelona are also interested apparently.
Looked him up and he is extremely quick. Makes fast wingers look like they're running in treacle. Never seen him play before though as I hate La Liga football.

These are the type of signings we need. Left field ones that go under the rader. Not spending mega millions.
20 Jun 2026 16:25:51
Looks alright as a 'stocking filler'. Be good for the money spent, but nothing to write home about in my opinion.
20 Jun 2026 17:57:25
Mk, what's your opinion of these signings, like Munoz and this reported interest in this right back.
Seems like a risk to me, like Brendan Rodgers signing Welsh Xavi, etc.
Or they could be hidden gems.
Dnt know whether Hughes already had plans for them, or are they Iraola recommendations.
20 Jun 2026 18:00:20
He plays on the right side, though, Dilly....
20 Jun 2026 18:11:55
Nabeel, in my opinion these are the kind of signings we need. In the respect that if we sign a player like Munoz or Ratiu, it is because the scouts have seen something in them that made them stand out enough to believe that in the right environment and coaching set up, they can be top tier.
Any big club can look at a player like Isak or Wirtz and go sign them for £100m+.
Pulling a gem out of nowhere is what will get us back to the top because if we're just going to sign the best players for huge money, there are other clubs with more money than us who can just spend more. What can set us apart is if we sign the gems that go under the radar normally until they're 24/25 and then someone buys them from Brighton or Leipzig for £100m!

Just seen on X that Muniz was the 3rd quickest player in La Laga. The quickest was Ratiu. Iraola is definitely wanting to inject some pace into the squad.

Gakpo, Virg and Grav v Isak followed by Wirtz v Diomande. Lots of LFC interest this afternoon.
