Ed025
I read your comment on Alexis Mac Allister being the best South American player we will have ever had?
Suarez was damn good mate, probably one of the best players I have seen at Anfield end of.
Did some bat rubbish crazy things but some player.

{Ed025's Note - im not doubting his ability hughesy but he cant go down as a "great" because of his antics mate, could have been a legend but turned out to be more of a bellend im afraid..

Suarez is the best south American player and bell end to play for us Ed 25.
The question was player. A prime Suarez had everything including sh** housery, which apparently every fan loves having a player like him.
If the question was biggest snake he would win that poll as well.
I don't think any Liverpool fan would argue that Suarez was a nasty piece of work, but he was a hell of a player.
If he wore the blue shirt of our neighbours they would have worshipped him.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think so wishy washy, we are a team of nice people (crap at football granted) and have a high moral standing.. :)

You just got rid of Richarlison, but he was also a true gentleman. Best south american player for lfc has to be suarez. But if i was asked who I would rather have in my team, then I would pick allison over suarez.

{Ed025's Note - im surprised bobby has not been mentioned before the vampire RF, but i must say Allison has been top notch mate..

Suarez brilliant footballer rubbish person.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that 1jj..

Come on Ed you have had your fair share of bell ends. Ferguson on the verge of psychotic at times.
That tit you sold to spurs last year.
Now I'm not saying they are Suarez class for scoring goals or nastiness. but if Suarez was a blue you would be saying he up there with Dixie lad.
Some say you are old enough to have seen Mr Dean in his prime.

{Ed025's Note - im 65 this week wishy washy not 85!, was never a fan of Ferguson of Richarlison really mate, for me it has to be the whole package and not how well the guy kicks the football, my moral compass is higher than that..

I don't know about loving players like Suarez. Aa rightfully stated he was an amazing player. Its remarkable to see him something like 5th in Barcelonas all time highest scoring list. I like players who get stuck in and show desire but let's face it he embarrassed the club, let Kenny down which after everything that great man Has done for the club is a no no and personally I thought he wasn't above cheating. He went over when the wind blew, left something on defenders and wasn't adverse to using his teeth. Talented yes but even though I was in the minority I was glad when he left.

{Ed025's Note - i totally agree baz, there is more to life than football ...the ashes start shortly mate.. :)

Bobby was great for us and will always be an LFC legend Ed. But we have to acknowledge that as great as he has been for us, Alisson is just hands down the best South American we have ever had.

The vampire, as you call him, single-handedly dragged a mediocre Liverpool team to the brink of a first PL title and made BR seem like a better manager than he actually was. He was a great player but I was glad to see him leave the club.

{Ed025's Note - yeah im with you drac, i think MacAlliser could be just as important though if things work out for him mate..

Suarez is the biggest bellend we’ve had play for us?

El Hadji Diouf “Hold my beer”.

8.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 08:24:55
Ruling out Suarez for his behaviour another contender worth considering would be Mascherano - excellent player and in a midfield with XabinAlonsonand Stevie G he didn’t look out of place-.

08 Jun 2023 08:50:09
All things considered Steve Finnan is the biggest bellend ever to play for us. Diouf and Suarez were irritating blokes on the pitch but I don't recall either running over an old man and then getting caught speeding on the same road again.

Dracred is right. Alisson and Firmino always played for the club, the team. These two are an integral part of our success in recent years. Suarez, while skilled, was always playing for himself and you could see it. The way he left further confirmed it.

Suarez hands down the greatest south american the prem has ever seen. rubbishhousery or not.

08 Jun 2023 09:07:14
If we’re talking s**thousery let’s not forget to mention that prick Pickford and Leon Osman

Anyway apart from :

Suarez
Allison
Firmino
Coutinho
Mascherano
Fabinho
Lucas Leiva

Mac Allister could be the best South American player to have ever played for LFC.

Continho? One of the greats - great price when we sold him after he went on strike yes, but a great for LFC - no.

14.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 10:22:31
ArAy Suarez played for himself? What a load of crap. One thing you can't deny is that man wanted to win at all costs. He could do anything for the team to achieve that, legal or not, and that's what made him a bellend. But ability wise, he was obviously the best. Maybe Ali runs him close. In Suarez, we are talking about one of the best players PL has ever seen along with Henry, KDb, Gerrard, Schmeichel, among others.

15.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 10:52:01
Suarez literally bit people to force his way out of the club. Hell of a footballer, but my god his legacy is tainted.

16.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 10:57:51
Actually I heard Richarlison is meant to be sound enough off the pitch.

He's just a massive twit on it.

17.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 11:04:31
Ron not being funny but Lucas wasn't a great player, a great person and trainer but not a top player at all.

18.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 11:35:39
100% agree with that Lancaster. Loved Lucas as a person but as a footballer he wasn’t great.

I hope Ed25 is right because if MacAllister turns out to be better than Suarez, Ali and Bobby we have some player on our hands!

19.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 12:31:04
Lancs and Beckers, wouldn’t disagree with you:

I’m finding it difficult to locate the goalposts.
Some of us are talking about ability, some are talking about whether you’d let them teach your kids how to be a pro.

So Lucas fits into the latter category.
Coutinho and Suarez - definitely the former.

The truth is, MacA hasn’t kicked a ball for us yet so he could be better than Fowler or worse than Leonhardsen.

08 Jun 2023 08:53:33
Suarez was one of the best players I've seen in the flesh, and I'm over 50. Horrible person granted.
You mentioned the Ashes Ed025. As a scouser now in Oz, could be a tasty tour to be fair.

{Ed025's Note - I love my cricket Burkey and especially test matches. It will be very close I imagine mate..

25.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 13:02:38
Got to pull you up on the Everton players nice people comment Ed25. Every team has the odd bell-end that’s played for them in the past.
Duncan Ferguson and Wayne rooney spring to mind straight away as people that have done unpleasant things….

{Ed025's Note - every team has them LTV. And always will I expect mate..

26.) 08 Jun 2023
08 Jun 2023 14:35:38
Ed25, I see you are a member of the June Baby's Club like I am. It's a big deal, I tell ya.

Happy B Day, mate. Mine's next week BUT I am nowhere near being 65.

Congrats, man. Peace.

{Ed025's Note - cheers oli. And Adam who I missed earlier thanks a lot..

Ed025 mate he has gome down in history of our team mate. as a big disappointment. ?.

08 Jun 2023 17:21:38
Did you only start counting your birthdays once you hit 30, Ed025 ;-)

Happy birthday fella! I too can't wait for the start of the Ashes - the 'warm up' (World Test Champs) seems to suggest that the Aussies are also keen on Baz Ball, will be a slug-fest I'm sure!

{Ed025's Note - the face of cricket has changed since Stokes took over Zed, the boring days of Boycott and Tavare are well in the past mate, i cant wait..cheers..
