Liverpool need to slow down with all these marque signings - what are they smoking over in Boston. FSG certainly want success! Proper amazed with the Alisson potential purchase - go reds.

It’s always great when a player really comes on and surprises you in a season - like a most improved player. Who’s your tips for next year to go to a new level and surprise us all from the existing squad?!?

I’d like Karius to be given that chance if we aren’t buying a top class keeper. Maybe Ward too.

2.) 15 Jun 2018 00:35:58
Grujic, lallana, Joe gomez Andy robertson.

3.) 15 Jun 2018 00:38:22
Karius hopefully. Saves us 50 odd million on a new Gk that may not even be an improvement on him in the first place.

4.) 15 Jun 2018 00:35:04
TAA - think he is going to kick on and really develop into an excellent player.

5.) 15 Jun 2018 01:05:04
I really like the love-in with Karius because it shows we support our team, but despite 2 seasons he's yet to show he's got it. I think we should continue to support him but going into the new season with him as number 1 when we desperately need to win a trophy, with his tendency of being erratic and parrying the ball back into play is. optimistic at best.

I think he should definitely be given a chance to prove himself again, but all players should be held to high professional standards. I'm lucky that I don't work in an environment where millions of people are watching me week in week out, but if my team had worked hard for 9 months towards a project only for me to bottle it at the end, I would be mortified by my own lack of professionalism. I will perhaps expect a bit of sympathy but not a lot of hand holding. I'd definitely feel obliged to win their respect all over again.

GK is our weakest position and we should spend all the money that it takes to strengthen it.

6.) 15 Jun 2018 01:06:04
I rather suspect Grujic will be leaving along with perhaps Lallana and a few more. I hope Harry Wilson kicks on this coming season and perhaps as an outside bet that Origi does a great job in the coming season if he remains. On top of this I think some of our youngsters might do well away on loan.

7.) 15 Jun 2018 01:51:27
Karius, TAA and Gomez.

8.) 15 Jun 2018 03:44:27
Solanke - think he might surprise if we play a 4-2-3-1 against some of the more defensive sides.

9.) 15 Jun 2018 04:23:48
Karius will surprise many and make all the slater's look stupid.

10.) 15 Jun 2018 05:22:05
He is being slated for having a howler in the final. I really hope he has a great season, but that won’t make anyone be look stupid in my opinion mate.

11.) 15 Jun 2018 05:29:32
i think lovren will be outstanding defender of the title winning season for us. Plus i bet on him scoring a bicycle kick goal as our goal of the season.

12.) 15 Jun 2018 06:22:53
Who is slating Karius?
The worst I’ve seen is people saying he’s not shown that he’s good enough, hardly slating.

In answer to the question : Woodburn.

13.) 15 Jun 2018 06:46:34
Lovren.

14.) 15 Jun 2018 09:20:55
Salah will surprise us all next season and bring his game up another notch.

15.) 15 Jun 2018 12:21:13
Interesting views. I hope Van Dyke just becomes a monster of a defender and goes to another level next year.

16.) 15 Jun 2018 14:42:02
Harry Wilson, he’ll get a chance pre season as the majority of the squad who are at the World Cup probably won’t be back until the North American tour, it’s up to him to take his chance.
I also expect Gomez to establish himself as the third choice central defender and perhaps push Lovren for a starting place.

My Fifa 19 Liverpool team is going to be awesome given all these done deals!

This site is fabulous but we do not need personal comments aimed at either the Eds, other people posting, players or officials. If you want to criticise or voice an opinion on people that is fine but don’t go below the line of common decency. Be nice people.

Post of the day ❤️❤️❤️.

2.) 29 May 2018 10:13:41
Here here. I would add that the edds do a fantastic job of keeping us In the loop. So if your not wanting to be part of the site, please take your unwanted comments and tell someone who gives a F.

Please edds can you not just filter the crap these immature creatures spil from there mouths. I know it's still not right but we have to get the assholes of the site on way or another. Football is a big part of my life, so we need rid of these d. so we can't enjoy it.

Sorry for the rant but I hate people that hide behind the keyboard. 😡.

3.) 29 May 2018 10:17:34
Don't even get me started OctopusGarden lol I could go on about that post all day long. Great post mate.

4.) 29 May 2018 12:10:10
It’s good to see the support, it is certainly a few people who spoil it for the majority.

Really pleased we’ve got Fabinho. I like that (1) he improves the first team (2) he’s a good defensive midfielder (3) he can cover for TAA - keeping Trent at RB next season (4) he can cover or replace Henderson if injured or not on form or needs a rest (5) he’s tall so will help out at set pieces and (6) he has CL experience and he’s won a team title.

1.) 29 May 2018 09:37:52
He is positionally sound and a very good tackler. He will win the second ball!

2.) 29 May 2018 09:43:43
(7) It's also hilarious to see Man Utd fans lose it after signing him and moaning that Jose wants Fellaini to sign a new contract instead.

(Yes, Utd might not have actually been after him but they have been linked with him for a couple of years)

After every World Cup game we now have to link a player from one of the teams to Liverpool. Boring.

It’s a shame that in three seasons we never got to see what he could do. Hope it works out for him.

He learnt how to do over head kicks though - sadly.

TAA will learn from this. Players develop more through mistakes than just turning up and winning every game. Let the lad learn and accept that in some games, at the very highest level, he will be targeted for his inexperience. He got found out with long cross field balls earlier in the season but seems to have adjusted. So let him learn from this too.

Seriously? I have no idea who people think they’ve watched for the last ten years. We talk like we’ve been watching Barcelona instead of Liverpool.

Macca your input, like the Ed’s, is what differentiates this website from all the rest. Thanks all.

Whilst being very sympathetic towards our fans and what happened in Sheffield, I always loved standing on the Kop. I’ve never felt the atmosphere has been the same since but that may be for lots of reasons and not just standing. I’m pro safe standing and giving people a choice about where they would prefer to be in a ground.
