Is it true Liverpool are set to play Barcelona at Wembley and does anyone know the date of the match please.

We play Barcelona on the 6th August but the Venue hasn't been confirmed. It's either Wembley or in Dublin.

I think it is more likely to be in Wembley as Barcelona are playing Celtic in Dublin.

I would be very surprised if we were even considering such a bid for a player who's been injured for much of this season and has resultingly started but a handful of Premier League games, particularly in a position in which we are already swamped with options!

I honestly don't think we need another striker even if Benteke is sold and Sinclair, Yesil and Dunn leave. Sturridge, Origi, Ings (once fit) and Firmino can all player there.
And we still have Awoniyi on loan unable to get a WP and hopefully he can get one and Klopp can have a look at him.

The only reason to buy another striker right now would be a real top quality striker coming available (lets say for example Lewandowski decided he was desperate to rejoin Klopp or Kane decided he hated Spurs as a minimum standard) and we had done all our other business with funds left over and a chance to sell one of the others, or sell an AM to move Firmino back there full time.

Sat watching the match with a man u supporting work mate and at half time it showed an aerial shot of the new stand practically empty. On seeing this he took great delight in telling me it was all corporate and they had gone for there half time feed, I argued otherwise that it's for real fans as well, anybody shed some light on it please. Cheers.

My notes on Burke read thus: Nottingham Forest's Oliver Burke has attracted interest from Arsenal, RBL, Liverpool and Sunderland with Arsenal and RBL speaking to Nottingham Forest. Being on a long list of youngsters that Arsenal are looking at will give him a structured path to the first team but not for some time - and that won't suit the player who wants first team football. It would likely be similar at Liverpool and probably Sunderland so the offer of first team football at RBL would most certainly be the most attractive if he is to move. One has to be slightly fearful of the kid moving at this stage of his career could see him lost on the fringes of a Premier League team or unable to settle on foreign soil. I think he should stay where he is for at least this season and then look at his options, but I understand that someone negotiating a transfer for him that Leipzig are willing to make a pretty astounding offer. We will have to hope he does not become another John Bostock.}
