When's the next intergalactic post?

Bruce Wayne

{Ed002's Note - Final one will be tomorrow if I get time.}

Any one here from Florida? Or do any of y'all know a place in Florida that has a Liverpool fan based spot? Bar, restaurant, club, etc.

Bruce Wayne

1.) 08 Oct 2017 01:08:36
Florida Reds at the “Fox and Hounds” 4812 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park.

2.) 08 Oct 2017 03:05:49
Lived in South fla for 10 years, West Palm Beach to be precise, never found anything. Due to cultural factors it's 99% real and Barca.

3.) 08 Oct 2017 03:20:31
Thanks for the reply Corleone! And unfortunately yeah, Florida had a lot of Barcelona and Real fans.

4.) 08 Oct 2017 07:30:19
Beeen to Florida (Miami North and South Beach) several times (was there in June) and bro, it is raining Real and Barcelona fans.

5.) 09 Oct 2017 13:55:15
Most of the world is raining Real and Barcelona fans.

When is the next intergalactic post?

Bruce Wayne

{Ed002's Note - It will be this morning.}

1.) 05 Oct 2017 10:24:00
Ed002 after this intergalactic post is finished could we do another for all time players? all the retired players etc, should be interesting because there's that many legends.

{Ed002's Note - Sure - remind me when we get there.}

2.) 05 Oct 2017 10:32:44
Thank you ed002. Will do.

We all know that Rodgers wants to build a team worth winning the Champions League. So he's now looking at Traore to compete with Moreno. Plus we had a Traore in the 2005 winning team !

Bruce Wayne

1.) 04 Aug 2015 06:16:59
Traore is certainly not a bad player and we have only one winger in Ibe. Last couple of games have proved Lallana is not up the task to play on the flanks. You need pace which he lacks.
But what's the future of Markovic then?

2.) 04 Aug 2015 06:39:40
I just saw Traore on a friendly game in June thinking he's just as good as Sterling and we should go for him. Well what do you know!

3.) 04 Aug 2015 08:09:49
Beckham never had pace.

4.) 04 Aug 2015 08:15:19
Really Harry? Silva, Nasri, Ozil, Isco are just few very prominent examples of players who do not have pace, who effectively play a wide role.

5.) 04 Aug 2015 09:04:43
Agree with you AG.

There two different categories of wide players IMO. The Pedro / Neymar and the Hazzard / Willians.

Ozil was ineffective on the flanks and shifted to center with Sanchez taking the wide role.

Countinho isn't effective on the flanks as much as he plays centrally.

Isco / Oscar / Countinho / Lallana, They play in the hole.

Silva is a rare breed who could play on both positions.

Nasri isn't even in the picture and Navas has incredible pace. Zabaleta / Navas was one major threat of man city and the way they play.

It's the system and tactics what the manager wants from players. If you need a player to cut back and each the byline whipping crosses, you need pacy wingers.

Gareth bale , Jordan Ibe are players you want on the flanks.

6.) 04 Aug 2015 09:56:25
players with pace that are terrible on the flank. Walcott,Lennon,SWP,Navas,valencia,Young

Players that play wide without pace who were great. Beckham,Nedved,Pires,Figo.

You don't need pace to play competently on the wing. Just a decent work rate,good cross and understanding of the partnership with your front men.

{Ed001's Note - Seedorf played on the wing for large portions of his career too, what a player he was and not exactly a pacey player either.}

7.) 04 Aug 2015 10:19:07

Lallana would be perfectly suited to playing on the wing for us.
Our style of play is not fast-counter attacking football played on the break - it is more controlled possession where we have long periods on the ball.

This allows opposition to get behind the ball and drop deep. Therefore there is no space behind them for a pacey winger to exploit and we need players with high levels of technical ability to break opponents down.

Lallana is a very technically gifted player.

8.) 04 Aug 2015 12:17:11
Pace with out skill and guile will get you nowhere. Seedoff, Silva, Isco and the like have no pace but have quality, guile, skill, vision and all the other technical tools and look how good they are or were.

9.) 04 Aug 2015 12:32:34

You mean to say we need to play possession footbal, Keep the ball and pass around just like we did early last season only for BR to recieve truck load of abuse?

Liverpool press high and release the ball quicker and run at the defenders. Arsenal 5-1 and Everton 4-0 are typical examples of such tactics.

Had Sterling still at the club, He would have occupied that Left hand spot.

Lallana is a brilliant creative player just like Isco or Oscar and both plays centrally to me.

Play him in the middle, were he could take time to pick the player.

Just my opinion.

10.) 04 Aug 2015 12:47:03
Harry, not everything is black and white. You need to understand shades of grey.

Apparently there are at least fifty of them.

16 Jun 2015 05:25:37
Speaking of right backs. How do you rate Barcelona's new right back Vidal? Would we of considered?

Bruce Wayne

{Ed001's Note - he is not really a right back, he can just cover there. As a right back he is mostly missing up field as his positional sense is non-existent. He is a winger.}

1.) 16 Jun 2015 09:16:48
So like most right backs today then ed?

{Ed001's Note - only more pronounced as he literally forgets his position at times. His starting position tends to be 10 yards too far forward.}

2.) 16 Jun 2015 12:10:19
10 yards too far forward, sounds like Manquillo.

Finally a post about my favorite player and another player that I currently love to watch. Anyways I think both players are great in their own right but for me it has to be Firmino. Amazing player and so underrated one of the best at what he does. I see that Griezmann likes to comment and like on Firmino's page on Instagram. I see that Griezmann, sort of follows Liverpool. He especially follows Firmino.

Rodrigo de Paul, can cover RW, LW, AM, as well as CM. Ziyech as well, can cover RW, AM, CM. We missed out on Kelly for LB, CB, cover. Laxalt interest is fading, LW, LB. I could name a few more but we don't appear to have any interest.

I agree with MK, Brooks definitely looks the part and from I've seen, he looks phenomenal. Maybe someone for the following year?

Ronaldo and Hazard. I'm not sure if Neymar would be up for it against intergalactic teams. Carrasco and Alexis on the left seems good too.
