I hate modern football, the money, the primadonnas, the cooing over average players, the low block, the high press, the long throw, the pundits, and all the other noise to try and keep football relevant. Only my deep love for LFC has stopped me from turning off years ago. If Slot stays another season, I may turn off.

Barry, you and me both, mate. I ain't watching if Slot is there next season. He's so out of his depth, bloody stubborn, and, to be honest, I don't think he wants to be there anymore. Maybe he misses his family or something, which I don't blame him if he does, because that's the most important thing, but to me, he seems like he's past it.

This is awful to watch. Too slow in transition. Gakpo, Jones, Gravenberch, Salah - all too slow to release the ball. I'd hate being Ekitike in the middle there - make the runs - and no one looking up and playing the early ball.

I genuinely don't think they're hungry enough for this today. All too comfortable, no fight. Fed up of Gakpo cutting in. Are we playing far too much one-touch keep the ball in training? Because that is what we look like in the match.

what is going on they have all week to get it sorted and they look like they have never played together.
Look at the bench it is the under 21 team with two goal keepers why have this club allowed this to happen Edwards and Hughes need sacking right after the game win lose or draw.


We look like the team who is fighting relegation.
Sorry but this is just not good enough and the best player on the pitch is Forest number 8 Elliot he is who we need.

Astonishing first half. Just extraordinarily bad; can't recall seeing Liverpool play this badly for an entire half. Playing like a Sunday league team who were out drinking until 3 in the morning.

Every player from 1 - 11 without exception. Poor first touches, loose passes, kicking the ball straight into touch, losing tackles all over the pitch, Mac Allister and Jones dwelling on the ball and being dispossessed and then just jogging back. No work rate off the ball, no intensity to win back possession, completely devoid of quality on the ball.

A League 2 team would be putting in a better performance than this.

Can't believe it's still 0-0 at half time.

Can someone tell Slot to tell the players we actually need to win this game, so a shot at goal every now n then might help, Hoping for a much improved 2nd half.

It's bonkers. He moans about low blocks; the counter to that is to shoot from distance. It's not rocket science. We are so slow to move the ball around, which gives the opposition all the time in the world to get into defensive shape. It's almost as if Slot is trying to bore the opponents to sleep?

I honestly can't remember us ever playing a half of football like this, it seems like they deliberately don't want to win this, which i know in itself is a ridiculous statement.

How are we possibly playing so bad. A team playing that ball should be bottom half for sure.

I know its not over yet and we could come out storming. But in all my years i have never seen such a lackluster Liverpool with absolutely no bite or drive.

What an absolute stinker of first half! Only for Virg, Konate and Kerkez we would be a couple behind. Every other player has been an embarrassment. Grav, Jones and Gakpo have been worse than passengers giving the ball away countless times, not tracking there men and getting caught on the ball more times than i can remember! I would want fights in that dressing room from our captain because that lack of passion and intensity is criminal when we have had results go in our favour this weekend.

What a pathetic first half that was. Literally can't make a pass to our own players and over run on the hole pitch. Not one player can say they did anything good there.
Praying we get something out of the second half.

Dunno how anyone can still want Slot here after that half. Forest totally outworked and outran us in that half. Looked like they had two extra players.

Absolutely disgraceful level of effort and that comes from the top imo. It's symptomatic of how we've played this season.

Won't matter if we go on to win, that half was still awful.

It's every game, though. They never start on the front foot and put the opposing team under pressure. It's always a laid back behaviour. I'm so sick of it. It's like there's no urgency ever.
