Watching the game reminded me of our end of season. Clearly the better team with the better chances (Borussia Dortmund) but finishing let them down. And they lost.
Why Julian Brandt was on the pitch, ahead of Haller and Malen, was beyond me. At least Adeyemi showed signs of good ability.

Stromsgodset, get used to it mate, have you seen the team they've got? they make things happen. A young team just ready to win everything, they will dominate for the next 8-10 years.
I wanted Dortmund to do it of course but it's all about taking your chances and they (RM) took theirs so fair play to them.
With Mbappe joining them we're looking at one hell of a team. It'll also be very interesting to see who takes over after CA.

I love Dortmund as a team/ institution and always have, but I found it hard to support them last night since they signed a sponsorship deal with an arms dealer in the midst of Ukraine/ Palestine etc yesterday, complete and utter disgrace in the face of huge backlash from the fans
As for real winning…also upsetting, but not as upsetting as a ‘people’s club’ giving the finger to the yellow wall.

ArAy1969, I said the exact same thing literally during the first half. I knew RM would win and it was just a matter of time. In fact, the coner-kick routine they scored from, they already tried it 2/ 3 times and in fact Carvajal nearly scored from one of them.
As soon the first one went in, it was curtains so RM deserved it on that front. They are not arsed about whether they get outplayed or not. They take their moments when they come and sometimes, that's all you need at this level to be the better side.

JN, you can add the Diaz's, Salah's and Gakpo's to the "attacks" that Dortmund caught. Just saying.
Also to be fir, Dortmund did not create enuff clear cut chances apart from prolly 2 of them and in the second half, RM were the better team, IMO even tho, they created next to nothing in open play. Just my opinion.
