Everton won't be relegated. there's 3 poorer teams than them in the league next season in my opinion. Dyche will keep them battling and if they can get the ball in the net a bit more often they'll be fine. I hope so anyway!

Ed025 I think it’s going to to tight down there again. I think Luton are down then Bournemouth Everton Sheff Utd Wolves all look very goal shy so I think it’s who are the worst 2 out off the 4.

Ed025 I think Palace looked good under Roy and I think they will be fine am not sure who you meant when you said Coventry. But yeah you need to add goals Ed I don’t think you can rely on DCL to stay fit or score the goals you need so you you need to add players because you won’t keep getting away with it every season last 2 years you have been very lucky but that will run out in the end if you don’t add some much needed quality.

I'm not a regular poster but an avid daily reader so i just want to extend my gratitude and thanks to all contributing to this fantabulously addictive site! . it's truly brilliant! . most special thanks to. in no particular order. Eds 1 and 2 for their knowledge and sharing. Ed25 for being a blue and thank God for staying up! . it wouldn't be the same without you! . and to the regular poster lads who I really enjoy reading and mentally debate with. Hats off to MK Scouser, Mango especially and hopefully we'll see Barry back again next season! . I miss him! . Hi all. Long term reader but new poster. I see all the chat about Jude and a possible summer transfer. I'd just like to ask the eds 1 and 2 on their opinion about a possible transfer of his brother Jobe with Birmingham? . I know ed1 has high opinions of his future ability but would LFC have shown any interest in him especially as he is rated so well? . Thanks all.

He probably doesn't have the same need, the family has been set up for life by Jude's move to Dortmund, so I would expect, for all the ability he has, he is unlikely to have the same level of career as his brother.}

Reminds you of Eden Hazard and his 3 younger brothers; some of whom were said to be better skilled than him. They're nowhere to be seen.

At which point was Thorgan said to be the best? I mean that genuinely and not in a condescending way as I remember back in the day we were linked to Eden under both Rafa and Hodgson so he was always regarded as a special talent. I don't remember Thorgan being talked about in the same way. Their own father even said that Eden was the better prospect. He even said Thorgan worked harder. Was it at a younger level? I would also add that Thorgan has had a relatively successful career playing for Monchengladbach, BVB as well as Belgium's best generation nearly 50 times so think it's harsh to say he didn't make anything of his ability. He's set for life in his own right.

{Ed001's Note - Eden always said in interviews that Thorgan was the best. Hardly harsh when every club has bombed you out because you are not trying hard enough. His father clearly saw something very few of his coaches ever did.}

I think sometimes having a reputation as the better sibling hinders the player too. If you start to believe that hype you stop progressing at the same rate. Add in the finances as ed001 points out and stagnation is very likely. You see this in players that aren't related just hyped at a young age and they forget to compete expecting they'll just become better. Siblings especially, if you are always better then your brother at each step of the journey, then you believe you will be at the next one, but if you fail to put in the work then in the end your standards drop and you aren't the better player anymore.

Actually ED01, There is a third Hazard who plays in the Belgian league. Kylian Hazard was a youngster signed by Chelsea via the clout of his big bro Eden BUT didn't make it there so is now playing here in the second division in the Jupiler League. Apparently, not all Hazards are created equally.

Even if you look at caicedos recent social media post he mentioned having 9 siblings and hinting the move would allow him to provide financial security for them. It's a huge motivation for players to better their career and continue to push.

There are turds floating in the rivers and seas that are better than Maguire! I thought that Konate was good. Hard place to go and play against arguably one of the best players in recent times. Very promising, he definitely looks like he can handle himself.

Can someone tell me how Maguire was regarded as one of the best CB about. He's shockingly awful, it's just a typical example of an English player being bummed up waayy past his ability. I opened a wardrobe today and it had more movement that 'Arry.

For me he did well but i think Matip has earned his place at the back with Virgil. its the one position where we've the best depth in the league.

The highlight of the game for me was after the Curtis Jones foul, VVD coming in and chest bumping Ronaldo back quite a few yards, and Konate coming in and flinging Fred off to the side.
