I reckon he's up there with vvd as the best in premiership and would love him to partner virgil. I can't see spurs selling for anything less than 75m. The same fee as vvd.

{Ed001's Note - he doesn't have long left on his contract, hence the sale. I doubt they will get that much for a player who is 29 and is going into the final year of his contract.}

Agree with this. Will give anyone a chance. I've never believed we would spend big on a keeper nor could we realistically afford too, couple of Ed002's gems has put things like the coutinho deal and VVD into a perspective from the monies point of view.

If we end up with Butland, Fekir, Keita and Fabinho and no key players sold I'll be happy with this transfer window. Would like one more winger as we don't look as effective when Salah or Mane comes off but I might be getting bit gready there.

If you’ve watched him this season you’d know he was a keeper who has a habit of dropping crosses, letting in soft shots, fumbling the ball, throwing the ball in his own net and having ooor distribution. He’s not an upgrade on anyone at the club bar Bogdan.

People criticised ox and robbo and mane and vvd for the same things, he’s no better than moreno, he’s a poor mans Walcott, he’s got a poor attitude and doesn’t work hard, he’s lazy and always out of position and blah blah but guess what? All those players together in our system signed by our manager were goalkeeping errors away from winning the champions league. I will trust our managers judgement over yours no offence lads.

Every single signing is a risk. Who is to say oblak wouldn't fail miserably in a different country with a different defence in front of him.

Hope the lad comes in and does well. Am fully behind whatever player Edwards and Klopp deem good enough. And the same lot who are complaining and negative. Are likely the same that said Manes rubbish no more Southampton players. Ox is hopeless, Robertson just got relegated and only £8m must be useless. And Salah? He was to skinny and a flop at Chelsea. Not saying Butland my 1st choice nor klopps but be realistic we haven't got a unlimited pot of money. If we end Window with Butland, fabinho, fekir and a quick versatile forward to rotate with our front 3 then id be delighted.

If we get Ox, Lemar, Salah and Solanke I will lose all faith. the whole world can see that defending is our issue yet all of those are attacking players! It’s not rocket science!

VVD is not the answer to our problems! We concede goals from set pieces, firminos man for Watford’s first today, Gini for their equaliser (I may be wrong on this one but unsure)
I don’t know the answer to fix this as surely they work on it Day to day but VVD will not come in and fix this
Klopps main tool is passion and that will only carry us so far, I’m doubtful of his tactical abilities and as for transfers. don’t get me started.
