here people complaining about the lallana signing how we don't need him.lallana was among the best players the season before.the guy didn't even have a proper pre season, and when fit showed periods of what he can do.not all players shine in there first season.you say the price, what price?the 20+is about right compared to the fee paid for the likes of torres,di maria, mangala, willian.give him another season and he'll suprise many

He's a quality player. No doubt about it.

2.) 10 Jul 2015 09:23:12
You should smell done reality. The clubs you mentioned Chelsea, UTD all have wast revenue compared to us operating on loss every year.
They sell a layers on profit while we sell on loss.
They could afford to pick the player they want while we need to save each and every penny we got.
They could afford transfer flops while we simply cannot.

Man UTD dominated English football for 20 years which means they were on top of the game from two decades.

The money they have, they could afford flops.

3.) 10 Jul 2015 09:41:15
I see Harry's back with a bang lol

4.) 10 Jul 2015 11:00:04
What is the disagreement ratio for European Glories posts I wonder?

as i was saying the british media like to hype there players, sterling is good don't get me wrong but not world class as the media make him look to be,if countinho was english?. 50mil for sterling and 29mil for firmino we should be greatful to fsg if we get 50m for him.if sterling wasn't our player and you ask me to fork out 50mil,i'd take harry kane instead

In all honesty there is every chance Kane would be moving out this summer given UTD doeesnt get their striker target outside.

{Ed001's Note - he is a Spurs fan and wants to stay, almost no chance of Kane moving this window.}

2.) 08 Jul 2015 08:54:38
Ed01, I completely take your words on this site. Kane is a fantastic striker, wouldn't he be tempted for a move to OT? Looks like RVP might be off and Falcao already off. He is the best target they could get inside the league.

{Ed001's Note - he is happy at Spurs.}

3.) 08 Jul 2015 09:23:06
Benteke would suit Utd. And I'm not joking I do think that.

4.) 08 Jul 2015 09:50:39
Sean

They have got one with them in Fellaini. Benteke would suit Chelsea the most.

5.) 08 Jul 2015 11:27:51
Is he a Spurs fan? Seen pics of him as a kid in Arsenal kit as a fan

6.) 08 Jul 2015 11:28:17
Harry, Benteke would get a lot more goals than Fellaini and Fellaini could either be benched or dropped deeper. Utd would be stronger if they had Benteke with Rooney in behind him and Fellaini watching from the bench then.

Definitely agree with you that he suits Chelsea though - he would be a good fit for them alright.

7.) 08 Jul 2015 12:03:02
Sean

UTD already has one very similar in playing style fellaini. They use fellaini, When plan A doesn't work at all.
Chelsea is the best fir for the player.
Sit deep, break and then hit.

this is banter so don't hate.am from a country called Kenya, our football isn't good infact it's very poor so majority of us are crazy about the premier league.the most supported team here is arsenal, man u;liverpool in that order though arsenal is way ahead because of its past players like, lauren, viera, kanu, eboure(spelling),toure.brazil and england are the most supported football nations. We have a lot of banter so here's what they say about my team, they said suarez carried the us the season before and we won't make top four, sturridge and countino are the only players they would consider for there team.about rodgers most would actually given him another season.now to sterling

aleki

1.) 08 Jul 2015 08:22:50
They are not completely wrong IMO.

2.) 08 Jul 2015 09:27:47
@aleki, I would say Henderson would be the only other definite improvement to other teams. Sakho is one who if he was played all the time he would also improve the top teams. Sterling would be hard to call to see whether or not he'd make the Utd or Arsenal teams.

Otherwise fair enough. Firmino, Milner and Clyne are only in the door so it's fair to leave them out.

been having an argument with my boys between ibe and sterling who's got more potential to explode.for me i'd go with ibe,the thing i like about him is his shooting power, strength and speed.the boy can shoot a ball unlike sterling who whenever i see him,i get so frustrated with his crosses and finishing.they are either shot, hoffed, weak e.t.c.i would like your input especially ed01

aleki

1.) 07 Jul 2015 14:19:25
Sterling's potential is more realised and obvious right now as he's played so many more first team games than Ibe, so we can't really know for sure.

However, Ibe seems more robust and direct to me, so I reckon he will be better. He also (based on the last few months) seems to have a much better attitude which makes me think he is more likely to succeed.

2.) 07 Jul 2015 14:32:02
Similar to Zeddicus' point I think Ibe's attitude to this point is much more positive than anything we have seen from Sterling. That being said both are quality young players and despite the annoyance of Sterling and his agent forcing his way out the lad has undoubted potential and it is never nice to see the best young talents leaving our club. Ibe now has a lot of competition for places and will he get the necessary game time?

3.) 07 Jul 2015 14:35:09
Sterling is rated as the most valuable young player recently.

4.) 07 Jul 2015 14:54:12
Harry
That same survey was complete tripe in my opinion. Some of the valuations hsd me laughing on my ass

5.) 07 Jul 2015 15:37:03
Sterling is the better dribbler/creator right now (but perhaps because he has more experience/confidence at PL level?), Ibe has a strike on him and is better at crossing the ball IMO.

I think over time Ibe will be more dangerous because he has all the tricks but also looks like he has the finishing to score a lot of goals.

6.) 07 Jul 2015 16:08:43
Ibe can be a ronaldo-esque player. He got decent skills, pace, technical ability and more importantly great shot whereas Sterling is the best dribbler with pace.He can damage any defence in epl if played centrally,But we already have similar player in Markovic.Best part is both Markovic and Ibe have great attitude to learn things and have this hunger to be best.In future these two players can be great in EPL.

7.) 07 Jul 2015 19:17:47
Sterling is miles ahead of Ibe mentally and in terms of his tactical understanding of the game, knowing when to dribble, when to pass, etc etc etc. Ibe, I think, can be the better player but Sterling has had a lot of games, at a high level, already meaning he is way ahead in terms of development. When you look at their base skills Ibe has more potential but, at the moment (due to circumstance), Sterling has had the opportunity to realise his, Ibe is still waiting. I expect Ibe to come on leaps and bounds this season.

07 Jul 2015 08:52:26
i see people comparing benteke to carrol,my God i dnt any similarities,to ben is more to drogba, lukakus

aleki

1.) 07 Jul 2015 09:03:01
Would you seriously take Lukaku?

2.) 07 Jul 2015 09:19:56
Benteke is better than Lukaku ever will be.

3.) 07 Jul 2015 09:53:21
@Harry, he hasn't said he wants Lukaku he said he thinks Benteke's style is more like Lukaku than Carroll.
