I was thinking about Manes attitude problems and thought they could just be down to the fact that he knows he is good and should be playing for a better and bigger club, so just maybe when he comes here he will find his right level, i mean no disrespect to Southampton because we have bought many of their players, so i hope he comes in and sees the better quality players around him and he settles right in, its only my opinion so i'm not saying this is why he has a bad attitude but there is something behind it and maybe that's what it is, if it is that then we will sign a good player whose attitude will get better which will help him develop into an even better player, i know klopp gets the best out of players playing wise but i don't know if he has had players before with a bad attitude and he has changed that attitude of a player, maybe the eds will know so all in all there's a good chance of his attitude changing once he comes to us and is so we will then have a very good player who klopp will get the most out of, my only gripe is how much he will cost because up to now klopp has been able to get players for the right price and has not have to pay over the odds, but i'm sure there are better players out there for £30 mill or a little bit more that will bring the club up a level.

{Ed002's Note - I think the Southampton fans would disagree with Liverpool being a "better club". Southampton finished above Liverpool after they paid over the odds for all of those Southampton players - and they are just about to pay over the odds again. And Klopp does not decide on the fees being paid by Liverpool.}

I also disagree but maybe I'm old fashioned. every employer regardless of status (and Southampton is very close to Liverpool if you disregard history) deserves respect and hard work. I'm hoping it's just immaturity and he'll grow out of it with Klopps guidance as he seems to be able to build close relationships and respect with his players.

25 Jun 2016 12:39:32
In your opinion ed, how much is Mané worth?

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant, what matters is that Southampton don't want to sell unless someone pays well over the odds.}

25 Jun 2016 12:41:21
thanks for the reply ed002, in my post i did say i mean no disrespect to southampton, do you know if has had to manage a player with attitude problems before while he was in germany, i also agree with you over the fees that we have paid to the saints for the players we have bought from them, i thought klopp said he would not pay over the odds for a player in one of his interviews that's why i said that about klopp getting players for the right price in the players we have bought already, so thanks again ed002 for your prompt reply.

{Ed002's Note - He has had to deal with players who saw their game stiffled by Klopp's rather naive kopflose huhn style of training and play.

4.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 12:51:26
Their fans can believe what they want. While Soton players were playing scribble and fifa we were pushing for domestic and european titles, crushing them 6-1 along the way.

{Ed002's Note - What an embarrassing post.}

Ed002
It seems to me you don't like klopp. Just curious if that is the case and what I'd your reasoning?
Matt in FL.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea how you have concluded that. I wasn't one of the players who saw their game stiffled by Klopp's rather naive kopflose huhn style of training and play.}

6.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 13:45:07
Seems to me like managers will have players who either like, dislike, love or hate their style. Kinda like life really. Hopefully we bring in players who resonate with that style.

7.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 13:50:25
If that's Klopps style, then players have to deal with it, anyone who doesn't like it, tough! Don't see the problem!

{Ed002's Note - But that is because you are an idiot. The style got found out, it caused problems amongst players, the clubs results were going backward and he hasn't won anything for years. He has shown no ability to change.}

8.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 14:07:37
Bit unfair Ed2 he had one bad season at dortmund and so far things look good under him at Liverpool
mourinhio ed2 on the other hand can only manage clubs with loads of money and hit found out at Chelsea when they stopped giving it to him.

{Ed002's Note - It is not unfair - the last time the German League or Cup were won by Dortmund was in 2011/12. After that he failed to deliver and fell out with players once the style had been found out. The results started to go backwards and Klopp was unable to fulfill his contract. Liverpool's season finished with nothing with Klopp in charge - not a Champions League place, not a League win, not a cup and not a Europa League place - that I think you will find is called failure. There is nothing wrong with that, it is simply the truth.

Now, I have no idea why you wish to bring Mr Mourinho or Chelsea in to this - aside from being very, very embarrassing to you and the other Liverpool fans given the repeated efforts of the Liverpool owners to buy the league. The results of their efforts should indicate that they should have looked to employ Mr Mourinho (who has been successful under such circumstances) than Klopp who has failed to achieve in recent years.

Were you dropped repeatedly on your head as a child?}

9.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 14:19:21
Granted he's not won anything, but he's been to three cup finals in just over 12 months, so it's not like his style is horrendously broken.

{Ed002's Note - Ok, you are right. Klopp is the ideal manager for Liverpool as long as the club, the owners and the fans are willing to accept, like you, that not winning is good.}

10.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 14:44:18
Nice one ed2, people need to come back to reality. Klopp can do well for us, but hasn't so far. Get over it.

11.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 14:44:38
Ed002 has a deep loathing for Liverpool the club and it's fans, so why keep on asking him repeatedly what his opinion is on us? Your only going to read rhetoric you dislike so leave it there.

{Ed002's Note - No I don't have any dislikes Waro - I am simply honest and you struggle with that. I have a number of friends who are Liverpool supporters and I have a couple of chums who of have played for Liverpool in the past. The problem is yours in that you get upset by the truth and the reality. And I accept that 40 years ago Liverpool were a jolly good team - as were Huddersfield Town forty years before that.

You are stuck in the "We Is Liverpool" mindset - it is a very tiny place to be.}

12.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 15:03:56
Liverpool fans are fully behind Jurgan Klopp. Rather have him than 99% of managers out there.
It's the Players that are not good enough. He's already sorting that one out. Bye bye mid table squad that too many on here are happy with. Will you all be crying when he starts to sell?
Climb up the league next year without a doubt and we'll see what the German is all about. I can't wait!

you speak the truth ed but you could always word it better. you know your always going to rile up fans on a liverpool site who just want to hear positive things about their team. everything you say just feels doom and gloom. We all recognise klopps issues, but he's certainly not a bad manager. i'm not telling you to lie or to not say the truth, just lighten up. maybe then, you wouldn't have to deal with these responses.

{Ed002's Note - You are right. The fluffy rainbow-colored unicorns who live in the magical butterfly forest say that that Klopp failed to win anything in recent years.}

14.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 17:45:31
We have manager that brings passion, wit and entertaining football to the table. The man has had half a season in charge with Rodger's top picks at his disposal. I really think it's time to cut Klopp and Liverpool some slack. Our glass is half full, your's is half empty, ed2. Life goes on. It's just football.

{Ed002's Note - Your math leaves rather a lot to be desired. Klopp had more than 50 games to prove himself. I kno the Liverpool way is not to count the first season - then to change everyone in the summer - then don't forget he needs a period of transition. Feel free to hunt around for some more cliches - perhaps there will be something more apt out there.}

15.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 18:02:42
So what your saying Ed002 is he's not the manager to bring LFC and supporters a bit glory?!? I know a lot of people get in your back on this site but you do fish for it and it actually sounds like you love it.

{Ed002's Note - Actually I have said nothing of the sort - I have simply corrected those who seem to think he has been winning year in year out in Germany and has carried on his success during the past 9 months at Liverpool. Everything I have said is correct - just that too many simply cannot see it nor accept.

It is easy to see the outcome when Klopp leaves for Bayern Munich in 2019 - the fans will crave the return of Little Stevie G as manager upon his release from prison - the new guru. And the cycle will begin again. All fun stuff.}

16.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 18:18:40
no hard feelings ed, but it will be extra sweet if we have a great season. I can imagine a lot of fans rubbing it in your face, but i'm sure you will be as smug as ever if we have a terrible one. I hope to see you proved wrong about klopp.

{Ed002's Note - I have not said I expect the season to be bad nor anything of the type. I have not said anything about Klipperty that hasn't already happeded and isn't already true - this is the man who got you Steven Caulker remember.}

17.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 19:46:02
Ed, where did I say that I was happy to accept not winning? You were suggesting Klopps tactics have been found out and whilst I do think he needs to learn and adapt, that's true of any manager. And all I was pointing out is that 3 finals in little over a year implies that whilst his tactics and style are not perfect, they're not completely useless either or he wouldn't have got that far.

{Ed002's Note - There is a binary switch between winning and losing. If he fails to win and you are happy with that given the vast amount of financial expenditure on players, then I find that to be pretty poor form.}

18.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 20:36:10
To be fair, Caulker is probably a better striker than he is a centre back :D.

19.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 21:10:57
Ed002 after three years of not even a whiff of a final, Klopp got lfc in two in what isn't even his first full season. Yes, if you enjoy taking a binary view of things, then, he hasn't won anything with the club yet. But if you take into account a little bit of nuance, the progress is clearer than my new pair of spectacles.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody is suggesting anything about the future. The point is that he has won nothing for years.}

20.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 21:12:33
Where have I said I'm happy not to be winning? And that's regardless of what's spent. I've simply pointed out that perhaps Klopp isn't as hopeless as your above post was insinuating.

{Ed002's Note - You are happy and Liverpool are not winning. Klopp might well do better in the future, but for years he has failed. And failed with collateral damage.}

21.) 25 Jun 2016
25 Jun 2016 22:04:46
Where did I say I was happy Ed?

22.) 26 Jun 2016
26 Jun 2016 09:17:25
Ed, what you bring to the table is genuinely appreciated. It is based on facts and there are no lies or manipulations involved. I thank you for pointing out that we as fans do not think with our heads and always with our hearts, which is quite unacceptable. I will now lock myself in a room and come out when we have managed to win a trophy. I will then wait anxiously for the next time I will have to lock myself in the room as the manager has been found out. I am hoping you will be there to point it out Ed. Thank you.

P. S. Let us know if we should be criticising the manager as he is found out, or the owners for appointing someone who was found out long back (since 2012 is it? ) . Or we can do both, that being our forte.

Keenly wait for your reply.

- Krishna.
