Anyone able to help explain the home grown situation going on this summer, with many possible hg players moving on, I. e. Neco Williams, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nat Phillips etc.
I'm sure we have to have atleast 8 HG players in 25 man squad or maximum amount of non HG players, I know it affects Champions league Squad, something about only being allowed register certain amount of players because of this rule, and Club Based Quota.
Any eds possibly explain how this works properly and what we are doing about if we do sell few HG players.
{Ed002's Note - There are two things to consider and not to confuse:
(1) Home Grown: The EPL squad rules are a max of 25 players over 21, of which a max of 17 can be non-Home Grown. The remaining eight have to be HG (spending 3 years between 16 and 21 with English or Welsh sides, regardless of nationality, e.g. Nathan Ake is Home Grown for the EPL). If there are not enough HG players, then the squad size reduces, so if there are only six, the squad reduces to 23. In terms of UEFA competitions, the rules vary slightly with the eight "HG". A maximum of four of those eight can be trained by other clubs in the English and Welsh association. The remaining have to be club developed and trained. So If Liverpool were to recruit Mason Mount, he would fall in to the category of being association trained (by Chelsea) rather than club trained. Again, if there are not sufficient club trained players the squad size is reduced.
(2) Club developed: In terms of "club developed and trained" means that they have spent at least 12 months with the club before the year of their 19th birthday. As such Ryan Sessegnon is not club developed by Spurs nor Joe Gomez by Liverpool.}

As it stands for next season we would have Kelleher, Trent, Gomez, Millie, Ox and Hendo i think with Carvalho nd Elliott, Gordon coming through down the line. We'll be fine.

Hi all, me and Mrs going up to Liverpool for a weekend away start of September. Her first time going. Just wondering if got any advice. She's looking at tickets for the villa game (not confirmed as of yet) .
Do you guys trust live football tickets website or do you recommend anything else.
I haven't had a membership for few years and don't often get time to go due to work and kids commitments.

Anyone around my area, Grantham, Lincolnshire or going past my area, driving up to Liverpool today. I've not got a ticket but I want to be up there and part of the amazing atmosphere. Everyone I usually go with are not free.

Thanks dude, I'm on the train on my way up. I can't miss the opportunity. I went to all the Europa league knockout games a couple of years ago and it was absolutely amazing. I'm buzzing and I can't wait to get there.
