Are we looking at the possibility of signing jorrel hato from Ajax? Is versatile and young.
{Ed002's Note - Jorrel Hato (LB/CB) Kiddie who is well thought of but Ajax are concerned that clubs from England, including Brighton and Arsenal, and Spain have been speaking with his agent about the future of the kid. They have not made any complaint to UEFA just yet but will if it persists during January. One to watch for the future but cannot move to England at this time, but Arsenal will look to a future transfer and speak with Ajax.

Is cheick doucouré an option for us? I feel like him and Tyler adams would be amazing for our midfield and probably would cost us less than MC and probably be able to shore up a cb as well.

If they are options, they shouldn’t be. Doucoure is pretty good and Adams has potential, but we need top end quality in order to challenge Arsenal and Man City. If Caicedo goes to Chelsea, try to get Tchouameni from Madrid. For this reason, I wouldn’t be going for Thuram, Kone nor any of the FIFA overall 71/ potential 93 players we’ve been linked with. Buy high quality players and give academy players a chance.
Adams was almost a Chelsea player because, despite the narrative on here, that club is a complete joke and spent over half a billion to finish 12th.

Tchouameni doesn’t want to leave RM and he has rejected us a couple of times already so I ain’t barking up that tree for now. Doucoure is a very good option and the club did look at him. There are other options not named Tyler Adams so let’s focus on those.

Man. of. Todd - Did you miss the irony? Most people are hoping we sign the likes of Thuram etc. despite having no knowledge of anything even vaguely related to the player. They are using FIFA and YouTube compilations in order to adjudge him as a suitable addition to Liverpool.

If Tchouameni leaves Madrid he will go to United or maybe Chelsea who ed002 has mentioned was their top choice and they have made no progress either. Madrid will not sell players like him anyway. Yesterday we got a glimpse of what Madrid's long term midfield will look like and he is definitely a big part of that.
