June, the thing is that de Ligt was being talked about like he was the next Maldini while at Ajax. But they let him go because the guy who took his place was supposed to be even better (Schuurs) . Given that he is available, not having really made it at Juventus and Bayern, I'd be wary a bit. And that market value of 60-70 Million is nothing to scoff at. The positive side is that he's only 24.

de Ligt is on a crazy salary at Bayern isn’t he? Something like 300’000 a week? I’d think that would rule us out. He has Man United vanity signing written all over him.
