One of the worst Liverpool performances I've seen in a few years. Forget abit of play in the second half, if we hadn't won our last 2 games slot would surely be getting sacked. I'm not calling for his sacking BTW but those last 2 results have bought him more time.
The approach to this game makes me want to give up on slot. This was the easiest match city have had against us in years.
I'm listening to about doku "destroying bradley".

Fans might want to watch all the goals replayed. Bradley had nothing to do with any of them conceded. The doku wonder strike, neither konate nor maccalister closed his shot down. Awful displays today by many individuals but to come to the ethiad and play slow crap, it took 3,4 quick passes by city and they were in our 6 yard box. Slot and his team are out of their depth in this league.

Bradley put in the effort today from the get go. He's the last player that I'd be pointing fingers at today.

Hi Ed's hope you're all ok. Genuinely feel deflated and sad watching us against city today. What hurts more than anything else is the lack of fight. Except szobo I didn't see anyone else really fight for a win or play with any belief, and that's what scares me because that was one of the first things klopp fixed.

Where do you think we go from here. Not being reactionary and calling for slots head I just can't see how things have got so bad so quickly. Do you think he will keep his job next year and who do you think can breathe some fight into our team again?

Ed001, I actually hope we do have a change in management, I just don’t see slot being able to turn things round. His tactics, team selection and formations just aren't working.

{Ed001's Note - I would love to disagree, but every time he seems to have figured it out, he reverts back to that rubbish. I just don't understand what on earth he was thinking and how he has let the players get so unfit.}

Isn't Iraola getting exposed, his teams are good going forward but totally insane in defence, crazy high lines as well.

{Ed001's Note - no, they just lost all their defenders and are left with dross at the back and he is trying to make up for it by attacking.}

Konate looked as tho he would rather be watching it on telly eating his Sunday roast. Not even jumping for a routine headed clearance tells me he's just not even close to being up for the fight. Haaland is always up for it.

Today City's press was outstanding, working in and out of possession as a team. We couldn't find a team mate with 1 pass let alone string 2 together. Our press was lacking, mis-timed and out of cohesion when it did happen. It was as tho some of the players never believed they'd get a result today.

Ed agreed the buck stops with the manager but there's no explaining how bad Konate has been this season. I'd honestly rather play Gomez either into form or until he breaks down again.

Its almost like Slot and his ideas felt fresh to the squad last season and they responded. 2nd season in it feels stale, disjointed and lacking ideas and energy. Zero fight, lethargic. The likes of Endo won't fix that. The backroom staff don't make me think its full of inspiration behind the scenes either.


Currently Slot is getting much less out of the team than the sum of its parts.

To be fair on slot, we brought too many players upfront, and didn’t address the defence or midfield. I regret that we didn’t sell Salah in the summer, the guy had been shizzle all season and I don’t think he will get better. If we get a big enough offer in the summer for him, we should sell him.

Unacceptable first half performance.

Looking at our next game, I think I need to see Slot win the next 10 in a row.

I absolutely hate playing like a chicken. And that's what Slot was today.
