Tell you what. sometimes you read this site and it shows how little people understand football and how consumed they are by it. we need to do this, we need to do that. bail slot and bring in Eddie Howe, Jonny heitinga was the secret behind the success, all these great players are $h! te, people are laughing at us. is it any wonder when you speak like your entitled to win every game that's played, it’s a game of footy fellas. breathe. Was only a month or two ago everyone was on here quoting the scriptures after losing a fellow red and now your all here asking for heads ?.

Murfo is spot on. A month ago we were hailing the team, the manager, the transfer window as the best ever. I even saw posters saying we’d go unbeaten all season. Now after some very tight but admittedly extremely disappointing losses we should sack everyone and mount their heads on spikes around Anfield.

Football fans are so fickle these days and have lost the ability to handle disappointment. In fact they get angry when they are forced to face disappointment. I’ve seen a few talk about people laughing at us saying how embarrassed they are. Really? Does it bother your ego that much? Don’t have the spine for the fight eh?

It’s amusing to watch but a worrying societal trait. It happens in all walks of life these days. If people don’t get exactly what they want, exactly how they want it they stamp their feet, call for people’s heads and tell anyone who’ll listen how hard done by they are.

We look like a ship lost at sea and that's being polite. Ok the goal was so quick and united can always be a tough game regardless of their form. Worryingly it was at home and united have been beyond awful.

Did the backroom changes hurt us. Loss of Trent and his vision with picking players out and link up with Salah

Slot starts Isak who is not fully fit and benches Ekitike, not doubting Isak's quality but Ekitike has earned his spot. Refusing to start Chiesa or bring him on sooner.

Also there seems no urgency. I appreciate its a long season but a slow first half and then all out second seems odd in the prem, what exactly are we saving ourselves for if we are out of all competitions.

Lots of changes and I'm not sure Slot wanted that many out, not sure how much input he had over all the incomings. Even VVD looked way off it at times today.

So what are people's thoughts. What's the trouble off the pitch and can Slot turn it around.

Frimpong created more in 20 mins than Mo did all game. We need more pace upfront imo selling both Darwin and Diaz was a mistake. Agree with many posters that Ekitike should be starting.

Hi do any of the ITKs know what's actually happening behind the scenes? Is this a slot issue/ VB issue or an issue with the footballing guys like Edward's/ Ward/ Hughes?
Also does anyone know who we could look towards if slot does get sacked? What's gone so terribly wrong compared to last year? Why has our transfer strategy shifted from buying good talent that fits our style of play? Sorry for the questions but can't believe how much we have regressed. I want to back the manager but I can't see how we get past this.

Make no mistake, I honestly see us losing our next 3 games, which will put Slot in a very big hole. Watching that today was really awful, with no structure, plan or anything. First half we couldn't put 3 passes together and were clueless. Taking Bradley off and moving Sobs back is ridiculous. Grav going off is a big negative too. Ah well not a lot to look forward too.
