With a new manager there's always some sort of change. I was thinking instead of Trent coming into midfield keep him at RB and let Connor become a rampaging No. 8 in the mold of stevie G. Any other suggestions?

I don't think Bradley has shown anything to inform us that he would be a good No.8. He has played mostly all his senior games at RB and I believe that was his position in our youth teams too. Trent, on the other hand, was a MF in our academy and came into the senior team as an RB because of injuries so he should be a more comfortable MF than Bradley.
I think we may see a change in formation actually. From the 433 that Klopp/ Lijnders favoured to a more 4231 shape. It does seem like Slot prefers the inverted FB system too so I would like to see how he plays that. I think it can work depending on how it's played but the way we played it last season was very poor.
{Ed001's Note - he has played further forward than full back a lot of the time, at youth level, while on loan and at international level.}

I don't think that's the worst suggestion. Definitely some similarities to Gérrard. I think either Trent or Bradley could do it hence my thoughts about having Szobo on the right aswell. I think if all stay fit, this could be a very good triangle on the right. You could add Elliot to this aswell and rotate the 4. Can we get a similar balance in the left? I think that needs looking at more.

Dracred, Bradley played out wide on the right in the EFL Cup final when Gravenberch was injured and did not do too badly. He also played wingback at Bolton on loan and I think plays the same position for his country.
The evidence is there that he can play further forward. The question is that is can he flourish in these forward positions or is he more deadly from deep at RB, as he is now. Just my take.

I can see us playing both Trent and Bradley on the right hand side interchanging who is at RW and who is at RB. We need a Salah replacement and Slot plays with more traditional wide wingers in a total football style anyway so it's feasible at minimum.

We don't need to replace Salah. Szobo can play there and will longterm imo.

There will never be a player as good as Gerrard for Liverpool FC, unfortunately. But I think like Trent, Connor Bradley can play anywhere he wants to.
