Caicedo what a player exactly what we are missing. Him and macallister in a 2 would also give us option of having only 2 midfielders in there also. Can't we put a bid in for the Brighton scouting team?

I wonder what it would cost to get both from Brighton because they are exactly what we need in our midfield! If I had to pick one of the two it would definitely be caicedo but all the media news appear to be linking us heavily with McAllister, perhaps caicedo is out of budget range or getting his move to Arsenal?

{Ed025's Note - i imagine Macallister would cost more than Caicedo dow-ney mate..

Shouldnt do though ed, would much rather Caicedo. A tank.

{Ed025's Note - i would take Macallister all day jude, just an opinion of course..

Caicedo would be perfect for us. Absolute destroyer in the middle of the park and can also get in the ball and play. The way he can take the ball in tight spaces and either beat a man or play it round the corner beats the press perfectly. Shame for arsenal they didn’t get him in Jan, would have won them the league.

Either one would work for me. They are that good.

{Ed025's Note - i agree oli..

Caicedo has to be the no1 target. He just has to be.

I agree 100% on caicedo, perfect for us exactly what we missing.

Probably cost 80 million now. sell another squad player*or 2, and buy a long term investment called jude. the maths make sense.

Caicedo at 21 years of age. No brainer.

Didn't arsenal get a 70m bid rejected? If we can't afford Bellingham then most of the other players were rumour with are probably too expensive as well.

Teams know we are desperate.

Bellingham is extremely expensive, Nevada. I don't think he can be used as a yardstick to measure if we can afford other players.

There are definitely midfielders out there who will suit as and would not cost nearly as much as Bellingham. I still believe that we are able to bring in the players we need.

I'm guessing the issue with Bellingham is the total cost of buying him, paying his agent and his salary over 5 years. The total investment will be vast for one player. If Liverpool feel they can get 2 players (e. g. Caceido and Mac Allister) for the same total investment then I can see why they would go down that route.

Is one of them a holding midfielder? Caiceido I think?

It's the holding midfielder we are crying out for, but both are highly rated and would walk into our midfield.

If Mac Allister is valued at 60m and Caicedo 90m - I would pay the extra 30m for Caicedo.

Yes, it's a lot of money but it's our own fault for dithering in the midfield market for 3 years.
