Anyone writing Keita off, yes he has not had the greatest of start but do not underestimate Klopp.

He can pull any player on the right track.

Robertson was nowhere near the best LB when he joined LFC.

Klopp will make his magic work.

Not me. He’s a good player and will show it. we got to see what he can do in parts last season. We have just got wait a bit longer.

{Ed025's Note - he needs to stop sulking and learn the language if he is to live up to expectations, its totally down to him this one mate..

Language is a funny one, players like Firmino and Aguero seem to have gotten by fine without it. Though admittedly they understand the language better than they speak it. Where as players like Bale have been hugely effected by not adapting. Regardless, there's no doubting it'll help his integration into the team but for me most of his issues have been down to the pace of the league.

He's had the odd injury whenever he seemed like he was adapting to the pace. He'll be a different player with a full season under his belt. Looking forwards to see what him and the Ox can do driving forwards.

I'm 50/ 50 on this. Klopp is not only ruthless with his players but he is also loyal at the same time. So I think a lot more depends on what is going on behind the scenes on the training ground and what the staff are observing on Keita. Keita may have some valid reasons for not meeting expectations ("the next Ngolo Kante"), but for me the season has been a flop for him with glimpses of potential.

If we had finished 6th or 7th in the League then my viewpoint would be far more relaxed. But we're not. And Mr. Keita is holding on to a now very valuable squad place. Klopp has to make an assessment as to whether Keita can make a high contribution or not, for the next few years, because that's where the rest of the team is.

I thought he was playing really well before his injury. I'm encouraged. Hopefully he won't get hurt in the AFCON. There are going to be some really good battles for playing time in the midfield.

He has all the talent in the world. But seems an attitude change is what is needed. To me it looked like just before his injuries he was getting it together on the pitch at least.

Seemed to have improved in the last few games he played but still hasn't come near to the expectations of him. So far he has shown he's a decent midfielder but not much more. Im hoping this will be his year to prove his doubters wrong.

Every time I see him do something poorly, I feel like it’s cos he’s misjudging the situation. He plays passes too close to an opponent, or doesn’t move the ball enough. Almost like he doesn’t expect the opposition to disposes him. When it works, it’s good through balls and attacking moves, but I think he needs to respect the opposition more, and make sure that passes hit players and he looks after the ball.

I don't think anyone will write him off yet, but a slight worry has crept in. A season to prepare for the move and he actually showed glimpses of childish behaviour in his last season with leipzig. Knowing a year ahead moving to England I'm annoyed he didn't prepare, that has me worried that he might be the type of person who can't be bothered going above and beyond. His performances won't improve unless he shows some effort to settle in to the club and squad.

I've still got full hopes he can turn it on but he's 50% on way to being a flop. Another poor season and we will need to cash in. The thing is, he wasn't even felt like a loss this season so hopefully like a new signing. If the work isn't put in, we don't need him. He seems like a good lad but maybe be needs a mature word of advice to remind him he's not a kid anymore. With language issues, klopp, hendo or virgil can't even chat to the lad with any ease. That frustrates me.

ArAy, who expected Keita to be "the next Ngolo Kante"?
They are totally different players who play in different positions and perform polar opposite functions in the team. No idea where or who you got that idea from, maybe off the top of your head?

Does Firmino really not speak English in the slightest? I'd find that strange after his time in Germany as many german teams use English as the team language because it's common.

{Ed001's Note - he does speak it but it accented so difficult to understand. He understands English well.}

I prefer Ox to Naby.

I remember an interview this season bobby needed to speak Portuguese. He was able to throw in the odd English cliche and joke here and there only.

Jurgen Meister. Screw your head back on and go back and read what was being written in the media at the time. That's why it was in quotes because that indicates that they are not my thoughts at all. And where did I say they play the same position? Careful what you bite at because it will bite you back harder. Einstein.

Those saying Naby should be written off, should give their heads a wobble. Yes, he has not had the season he would have wanted but people forget that he is in a new league and a new team where he had to find his role and Klopp had played him in diff. positions as a result.

Also as Ed01 was saying, Naby lacks the defensive nous to play in our midfield cos he leaves too many gaps when charging forward so he had to switch his game to adapt as he did not have to track back that much at RBL.

It just so happens like all the other players who took time to adapt like Ox, Robbo, Fab etc., he started to find his role and play MUCH better till he got injured.

IMO, the best is yet to come from Naby as he has shown he is super talented and good enuff to play for LFC based on his recent perfs. before his injury. He just has to keep improving and getting support from his manager and supporters even tho, some have written him off after ONE freaking season, already.
