So I for one am happy to admit that my emotions got the better of me on Saturday and we're still in control of me on Sunday and Monday. I had started to believe that there was a clear case for powers at be being against us. With the audio released I am happy to see that those beliefs were baseless. In this instance I am happy to just get back to supporting this wonderful club. We are not perfect, but the past has no doubt helped form some of the views we carry when we see and feel an injustice. That does not make us bad people or bad supporters, I know we feel that sometimes the world is against us. Thank you Ed's and the rest of this community you help what makes us a special club to proudly support. I have no doubt that we can all continue to grow and learn together. YNWA.

For me, it was stupid to jump to that conclusion of conspiracy and corruption. Not because the people who said that were stupid but because the suits are too stupid to have done it lol it made way more sense to me that they’re incompetent, with no charachters or leaders in the referee group or in their management/ governance.

The impact is so great and frequent and we don’t watch others teams as closely as our own so it can feel like corruption, but I think time and time again it’s just their stupidity that we’re seeing on show.

Have said before but the game needs diversity on the pitch in management and governance.

How on earth was it offside? You can look at it from any angle and it will always be onside. Disgrace; if they need someone who can make the right decisions, give me a shout. I’d even do it for free to prove a point.

Darren England thought the goal had been given and didn't intervene.

He must not have been watching the match, that's the only explanation for that. He had one job and he didn't do it.

He's been taken off VAR duty for today anyway. That obviously makes it so much better, doesn't it?

2.) 01 Oct 2023 12:07:08
SR, same ref and VAR who robbed Wolves a a blatant pen when Onana clattered in the the Wolves player and the PGMOL had to apologise. VAR is not the issue. The people running it are and Ed25 always says it: This is corruption in full display.

3.) 01 Oct 2023 12:09:33
Shearer made a good point when he asked why didn't the assistant VAR question the VAR?
Where they hoping no one would notice? At times they are more concerned with protecting each other rather than the rules of the game.

4.) 01 Oct 2023 12:42:52
Rigsby, it's not at times. Mike Dean already snitched. They protect their bros. on the pitch. This discussion is one is over. We know what happens in the VAR room now. No point trying to call it what it isn't.

5.) 01 Oct 2023 13:03:21
Oli, I said at times because I don't believe they do it all the time. Mike Dean didn't say they do it all the time.
Are you saying they do?

6.) 01 Oct 2023 13:25:38
Pretty sure England was on VAR duty when we played Chelsea and should've gotten a pen for Jackson punching the ball away too.

Please Mr Klopp play anyone but Trent at right back. He has been outstanding in the middle of the park again thus far tonight. Could watch him all day in this form. Well done for noticing that we don't need to spend over £100m on a baller when we already have one, just playing in the wrong position.

Don’t loose the run of urself he’s done alrite he’s not exactly played city Newcastle etc he’s played!
Hes definitely improved but the right side is weaker now.

2.) 03 May 2023 21:54:12
Hence why I mentioned a right back. He has been our best player over the last few games by some margin. Just need a decent number 9 now.

3.) 03 May 2023 21:57:07
Trent's doing fine.

Overall shape is imo a mess.

4.) 03 May 2023 22:28:35
I can see Trent stepping into the role we expected Bellingham to play, and allowing Ramsay and Bradley to fight it out for the right back slot.

At least, that’s what I’d like to see happen.

I can’t deny I was very wrong about Trent in midfield, he is proving to be capable in so many more aspects of his game, things I did not know he had in his locker.

We’ll have a clearer picture at the end of the season, but I am surprised and impressed at present.

5.) 03 May 2023 22:35:51
Thought tonite was a good game from both sides. The way we are playing now look's ok against the lesser teams. But you would think the better teams would be able to play better against us. Still a win is a win, onward and upward.

6.) 03 May 2023 22:38:35
I don’t understand your comment Jay. He’s played Arsenal, and bossed them.

7.) 04 May 2023 01:54:37
It’s been the lesser teams that we’ve had problems with this season though, AIfred. Good to see that we can dominate them again.

8.) 04 May 2023 06:43:18
Trent is getting a free role in this “ new position” . It’s not as if he even has anyone picking him up. That’s not saying that he would do well in midfield because he clearly is a very talented footballer but with someone who is designated to actually try and get close to him would be interesting to see.

9.) 04 May 2023 07:27:38
We will see how good he is when he actually gets targeted or man marked during a fake vs a better team.

10.) 04 May 2023 08:46:33
Did TAA or we boss Arsenal?
I remember us getting embarrassed for the first half hour at least.

Ed, for that amount would you cash in?

CharliesGrummpyDad

{Ed002's Note - It requires the player ti agree as wll and if Liverpool want to keep him they can discuss it with him or simply say no, there is no time to replace him.}

Wishful thinking on my part Ed. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next 24 - 48 hours. Thanks for all you do Ed’s.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks.}

Ed in your opinion do you think we should accept anything over £200m? That would make perfect business sense but I worry it does not make much football sense right now. Perhaps if we could agree a record fee and have him on loan for the rest of this season that would be a perfect scenario? He will at some point start to decline after all. He has been a wonderful servant to the club, from the heart I hope we say no to any offer but my head says £200m is a lot of money for someone who only had a fee of £37m when purchased.

CharliesGrummpyDad

{Ed002's Note - They are not going to offer £200M and leave him on loan until he is worth far less than that.}

Thanks Ed appreciate the input. I for one would not touch him with a barge poll, wrong attitude from him and his team for me. If he did sign inevitable that we would be a stepping stone for 3 years max.

Brummy they did ask him, it was in relation to when Fergie said he was stepping down then back tracked and changed his mind that season. Jurno asked Klopp if he could see himself doing the same thing, he said no straight away. I’m gutted but he has been fantastic for us and the league. I have read so many comments from other team’s supporters, that just goes to show how well he has done.

The problem with refereeing is that they are a professional body beyond reproach. You can’t criticise them or hold them to account, we are no closer to having live in game commentary either. They need to be 100 % transparent and accountable, only then will they improve. You only need to look at Mike Deans comments to know how bad and deeply rooted the problem is.

At what price might that change ed? I am going to assume even Mo has price. Reports saying he would like to listen to what they would offer, any truth in this? Thanks in advance.

CharliesGrummpyDad

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea sorry.}

Surely the answer is to have Howard Webb on speed dial for ever game?
