Trents pass across one side of the park to the other on the volley on the outside of his boot was worth the entrance money alone. Would love to see him in front of the back line in the next 18 months. Replace him at right back with Bissaka.

Brighton Game - We were poor, yet another organised team who set up a brick wall and we had no answer! Still
relying heavily on the front three. That midfield is not going to score goals. I can bet the whole Europe on it.

The new way of justifying a poor performance - Grinding out results 😂😂😂.

Whatever the perception is, perception, the reality is we got the 3 points. The title winners will drop points, whoever does it less will win.

perception what are you on about? we had an answer- we scored a goal and the defence ensure we kept a clean sheet. chelsea were poor many times under conte but got the win in the same way. man und under ferguson had countless games like that. even city got results against the likes of palace and southampton. I've never seen a title winning team that hasn't had performances like that.

Perception

Aint to many teams about that aren't managed by tony pulis that don't rely on their frontline to score goals.

A 4-3-3 will naturally give the lions share of the chances to the front 3.

Chelsea struggled against newcastles brick wall yesterday like most teams previously struggled against moaninho's brick wall over the years. Its pretty hard to shoot through a brick wall. Early goals and sometimes even a second is what it takes to open the game up.

Even when liverpool went 1 nil up brighton remained discipled throughout right up to the end of the game. But in no way did liverpool grind out a result. Massively in control the whole game and but for a better pass or a slight bit of better composure it would have been 2-0 forcing brighton to come out and take a few more risks. When that happens it goes to 3 or 4 nil.

Im honestly a bit miffed how people are complaining about 3 wins out of 3 and three clean sheets.

I think we need to give Brighton some credit too. They played well stayed focused even at one nil down. We hit the post a couple of times too i think.

The sharpness will come in the players after 7-8. Some of them had a long world cup and short preseason.

Once everyone is on the same level we will be a better attacking unit, although I am happy with 1 nil every week.

At least we got the 3 points, re-wind the clock and we would have got a draw or lost by a goal.

Perception your perception is pointless. What gives you the right to think we are going to just smash teams to pieces? Show some respect to a well organised team who made us work for the points.
Ps WE WON!

And there he is, the Great Perception or Harry. Tell me, are you ever wrong? We could have been 3 up at half time BUT we did not take our chances so there goes your idea that we were poor. Secondly, we did not play our best in the send half BUT got the 3 points BUT you are still moaning even tho, you keep saying that "winning while not playing your best is the sign of champions or a very good team". So which is it? Mind you, had we put 5 past them, you would say, "Meh, let's see what happens when we play the big boys" or something contrarian. So in essence, all you do is just be a contrarian for literally no reason. Must be boring being your type of "supporter".
