Thought bar the mistake we played well, a draw probably would have been fair overall. The signs of improvement are there just need a few more players in and some time to gel.

Why are people getting so excited is beyond me. The league was not going to be ours this year, maybe next or season after, we blew this transfer window and AI is working with what he has not what he wanted, let's judge when he has the team he wants instead of one he inherited and our old SD sprayed hundreds of millions assembling.

Result didn't go our way but what a performance from the reds that was. I've never been so sure AI is the right man in charge. Pick your head up lads we go again. What I love about this season is each time you watch them play they improve in some capacity. Big up the red men.

performance was ok. Not sure why everyone is getting carried away.
Arsenal were better first 15, and then the second half. They gave us the ball and we did nothing with it.

Really pleased with the performance. We looked really comfortable against the best squad in the league. We need left back that offers more going forward, we need a midfielder that gets goals and the ceiling for izak, Barcola and Wirtz hasn't been reached yet. Improvement under Andoni is clear to see, 1 mistake settled the game. Ynwa.

I've come away from that game with mixed emotions. we should not of lost that game at all that is arguably our best performance this season other than Brighton, we kept the league champions on their back foot for basically the whole game 17 shots and not 1 on target is hard to believe.

I can't criticise one player other than alissons stupid mistake but he done some brilliant saves after that. I also feel we should have kept nyoni on for the full game. I don't know if the 0 shots on target reflect on how bad we were attacking or do we just give credit to Arsenals defence? .

Not mad about that at all. Disappointed of course, but we matched and outplayed the champions and likely favourites for the league for large parts of that game. You can see the identity of the team being built and where AI wants us to be so for me it's very positive considering the vast improvement from Slot ball last season.

Great game and got to give Lego head and his team credit for their defensive performance away from home.

Dom gets away with a lot too concerning central midfield.
How can a 19 year old come off and we look more unbalanced and rash centrally? Because doms rash. Positionally all over the place and his passing rash.
Macca became pitiful towards the end too. Fouls and holding his face.
Kerkez is a trier but should be a Liverpool back up.

We were all over them til szob came on for Nyoni, then Arsenal slowed the game right down. Frustrating game against a very frustrating team, diving and conning the ref at every chance. VAR should have given a pen for the shirt pull.

Ali silly mistake. Costly. Wirtz is like he has wellington boots on when ever he gets a chance to just put his laces through it. Barcola clearly not fit, he was dangerous first half but should've been off at the hour. Gakpo unlucky to be subbed.

There was a massive drop off once Nyoni went off. Probably in combination with some tired legs. If we get another ball-playing midfielder and a combative one, think we'll be right up there.

The loss sucks. things to work on but I can see positives in competing with the current champions. this team is in transition supposedly great signs to me. VAR should pick up the Isak shirt pull which is ridiculous but overall we didn't work Raya at all.
