Too many players who couldn't tackle a hot dinner.
Massive problem starting the season with only Conor Bradly at
right back. Way too many times Szob has to play there while
Conor is out. Macca is a total passenger, so that's 2 big players missing from midfield.


No wonder teams just walk thru our midfield.
It's no wonder we have dropped so many points.
The days of a VVD and Gomez at centre back partners are over.
VVD no longer has the fast legs, and Big Joe has lost half a yard.
Teams no longer fear coming to Anfield.

It's defo a hard watch, but who is to blame for a wafer-thin squad.
We dont really have anyone decent to bring on when we're in trouble.
Mo Salah, great player that he was, is no longer worth his place in the 1st team; you saw him these last few games, he has just lost
everything.
Then it's Curtis Jones, an ok sub, but cant really tackle, which is
a must for a midfielder.


Dont start me on subs, you could see in the last 15 minutes Spurs lads were told to kick it long into our box, well it worked,
so why didnt Slot bring on Konate, move Joe Gomez to right back,
moving Dom back to where he belongs, in midfield?
It's simple really, maybe Slot has just lost the plot.

It's a lack of control in midfield that is the main problem. They get overrun every game. On top of that, we can't defend and keep messing up great opportunities. Overall, we are just a terrible team atm.

The whole team is awful, but watch the 3 in the middle. They don't move as a group or show for the ball at all.
Everything is sideways and 5 yard passes.
So many times, the ball should go forward through the lines, but people are bottling the forward pass.
Watch other teams and then go back to us, and it's clear as day that the midfield don't really make forward runs either, which I'm guessing is through fear of the counter attack as our defence has been poor for a while and the middle don't seem to have the legs to chase back.

So many players without any fight in the team, jogging around, throwing out the limpest leg, backing out of challenges. Times like these you see the worth of just pure passionate hard workers like Henderson. Ngumoa, Kerkez and Frimpong the only ones looking like they actually put any effort in recently. Stevie Wonder could see that result coming. I hope Gravenberch’s new contract is so we can sell him for profit, because Jesus Christ he’s pushing Wirtz for the weakest player I’ve ever seen.



Got to give it to Slot, in a matter of months he’s vanquished the ‘Anfield effect’ you could literally feel the crowd had absolutely no confidence we were going to win that.

I think we lose the Everton and United games, and draw against Chelsea and Villa. We are going to struggle for top 5.

I said a couple of weeks ago that I can't see us getting to the 60 points barrier. The only consolation is that Villa and Chelsea are equally as crap as us. Not sure where we get the points, to be honest. FSG need to grow a pair, in my opinion. Slot has lost Anfield, and that is why we need a change. Look at Man Utd. They made a brave decision in getting rid of Amorim and appointing Carrick.

It worked wonders. Nine games in, he has 22 points, and in the last 10 games they are top of the pile for form. It shows what can happen if you are bold. This team does not need coaching, it needs a rocket up their asses. The only way you can do that is to put a winner in front of them and reignite the fires.

Now we know for sure that we don't have a top Four manager or a top Four team. Not sure how we fix this situation, but it's a shambles.
Take away Szobo, VVD and Alisson, and we would be close to a relegation team.
Really, Gakpo at centre forward.
Too many players have stopped playing.
Even Hugo Ekitike looks like he will never score again.

But we supporters keep coming back for more, just in the hope that somehow, things will improve.

How Slot is unable to get a tune out of these players is beyond me.

When Rio and Frimpong were on, it kept their defence pushed back because they went for the line. As Spurs started to gain confidence, he panicked and pulled off Wirtz, Rio and Frimpong for Salah, Jones and Ekitike. Salah and Gakpo won't go for the line and are easy to defend. We lost all momentum and sat back, wanting to play on the counter.

That's suicide football; it gave their formation all the time they wanted to plough forward. Neither Jones nor Nyoni in midfield did anything to shore up the defence, just committed extra men forward looking for a 2nd and leaving the midfield open for their mids and forwards to waltz through. Poor, poor football. The boos are for Slot.

A depleted Spurs team! The players should be ashamed for robbing the fans that paid to watch that absolute tripe! Worst football I’ve seen in years. It’s so hard to take! But the way slot has them playing, I want him gone.

I hate his toxic football! We deserve nothing from this season!
Get whoever in now. Give a few months to feel the team. It can’t be any worse!
