We are a joke. Taking a week between offers when we’ve been told what they want. Just pay the money or sign someone else. At least don’t wait another 4/ 5 days to make our next offer if there will be one.

Also to think this is someone’s full time job and they only seem to be capable of bidding on one player at a time is ridiculous. We should be making offers in tandem for the other positions we need.

The time spent (wasted) in between bids, and all this stupid dillydallying, makes it seem there is a key decision maker involved in this at LFC that needs to be much quicker with their internal responsiveness. Perhaps JK?

I’m pretty sure even if we get lavia in the next 5 minutes never mind 5 days he will only make the bench at best . Klopp will start his team tonight that will start against Chelsea on Sunday . Looks like he’s gone for mac allister in the 6 with gakpo and so boss laa further forward diaz jots and salah fully expect to see these lads play 70 mins+ tonight before we ring the changes .

As ED02 said, that buyback clause is he fly in the ointment and it will depend on what City does next seasonings should Lavia stay at Saints.

What I am not understanding, keep hearing talks are ongoing, so what are these talks achieving. Surely Southampton are telling us what they would accept.

SFC: No £50m.

Macallister we did it quietly quickly, even Szob, but why are we messing about. I can understand if we think he's too expensive, if so then move on. All clubs seem to have to overpay for PL and EFL players, unless they have a clause.
