I think mount is a great player and before we bought Elliot and Carvalho I would have loved him to join. As it stands though I don’t think he’s the type of midfielder we need.

I don't see how Mount helps unless Klopp is planning on pulling a Wijnaldum and turning Mount into a central midfielder.

You’d do well to find many that wouldn’t get into our midfield but he’s bang average and he’s cost loads. He’d end up like Carvalho a number 10 shoehorned as an 8 or a winger.

Mount is average at best, basically gets glorified because he’s English, a pretty boy and runs like a headless chicken. The fact that Southgate loves hims so much says it all. I’d rather have Gallagher if I had to choose.

I personally like Mount and wouldn't mind it if he joins us. Works extremely hard and is more than willing to do the unseen work to make the team tick. He will be extremely expensive though and he may not want to join us unless he is pushed out by Chelsea.
