I have been in goal all my footballing life. Not anywhere near this level but i've got to admit that the 2 goals for madrid were schoolboy errors. I don't want to slag karius off because things can happen in a game when yes you can make a mistake. BUT the 2 mistakes tonight really cost us. When you look at the mistakes he's made through the season makes me really think that we do really need a world class keeper. I was for giving him a real chance but i now think we need a keeper who will make a real difference in points saved throughout the season and in big games. I think someone like oblak wouldn't have made these errors so we should go all out to get at least someone of his calibre. But im also very proud that we made it to this final. YNWA.

The second is most worrying for me, the weak wrists, the fact he is in mid air for a shot that is head height. Nearly got caught vs Roma and got caught badly today.

Firmane, weak wrists or not, he should NOT even have tried to save it or catch it. That ball was traveling and floating all over the place from jump and should have just punched it over the bar as he had a enuff time to see it coming. He tried to over compensate after the first error (which I'm not sure should have been awarded BUT still checking if any rule prohibits what Benzema did) and made things worse. I don't know if he can recover from this cos the swords are out for him.

Klopp needs to accept that just wanting Karius to be good is not enough, Karius has problems with his distribution and long shots just look at the one he missed that hit the bar against city and the ball he nearly threw into his own net in the Kop end and lots more if you look at his game.
I know he is young etc but he just lost us the cup.
Real were good but 2 Micky Mouse goals and the injury to Salah did it for them.
I have been going to Anfield since we were in the second division and I have enjoyed lots of ups and downs along the way tonight was just another but one thing I can say is going to the match to see the present team play is Fab and so exciting we are lucky to have such a great manager .
A new top Goalie is needed and a true goal scorer to compliment the 3 guys we already have .
If next season brings the excitement this one has done bring it on I say .
Just look at other teams who's supporters can only celebrate us getting beat instead of concentrating on their own teams .
We are all down at the moment but we are Liverpool and we love our team.

Hi eds and fellow reds. As im from stoke i get to see stoke play a few times. Why lfc haven't looked at jack butland is beyond me. he's the best young goalie i've seen. He has it all. Would be a great acquisition .

I think he's quality, the only worry would be his injury record.
It does seem that Klopp doesn't see the need for a keeper which to me is worrying. For me it is one of the most important positions in the team, look what De Gea has done for Utd the last few seasons, I still think we would have won the league in 13/ 14 with a top keeper.

Price is exorbitant now. Should have got him from Birmingham. Was obvious he was going to be a top keeper.

Thought the same about Kirkland not discrediting his career he's had a good one but never reached the heights expected. Suppose injury had a part to play too.

My Mothers Sister has a Son who is on the Bench at home games i. e. A Physio.

He says Mignolet and Origi share a room together on away trips always have done and also Room Mates on International Duty with Belgium. Mignolet had a Bust Up with Jurgen with reference to Origi now being Fourth Choice Striker much so that Origi refused to play for the U23s
against Sunderland last Sunday.

Jurgen has sounded out a swop for Butland and Mignolet and £20 million on top, how could Migs be tired after 4 Games ?

It's true avout Kirkland but he was injury prone.

Calamity was a huge disappointment for me as he looked Magnificent at Watford.

we have to look at paying the same for a quality keeper as you'd pay for an outfield player.

Its a Specialist position and top keepers are few and far between.

Each save made is equal to a goal scored by a striker.

A striker can make a mistake and get away without any cost to the team whereas its probably a goal conceded by a keepers mistake at the other end.
