There's a feel good feeling for fans everywhere. We're an LFC Official Supporters group from Wellington, New Zealand and we are currently getting dozens of people along each week to a bar that opens for us almost every week - to put that in context, games are often at 1am on a Monday morning NZT or 8am on other days. As the club goes well, more and more people are willing to leave the comfort of watching at home, to head out and spend time with other fans all while contributing to local charities under the LFC banner.

A question (hopefully not a dumb one) about the sale of the club (or any club) and the way it affects transfers.
Will any player likely be encouraged or discouraged form joining a club if a new buyer is sniffing around?
For example, could the rumors of a new owner be used to encourage players to join the club OR discourage players from leaving?
These rumours always pop up in the transfer windows so I put 1 and 1 together and possibly came up with potato.

Pretty sure (though eds may correct me) that Torres was convinced to stay on before Hicks and Gillette came in due to promises of top class players being signed.
Apparently Konchesky, Cole and Poulsen weren't the quality he was expecting.

How is Danny Ward rated at LFC behind the scenes?
He seems to be making a huge difference between the sticks for Aberdeen and his handling and directing of traffic in front of him seems excellent (albeit from some limited footage I've been able to access) .

After witnessing Migs 'outstanding' performance last night, Ward should have no problem getting a fair chance at the club.
Ideally the club moves both Migs and Bogdan on. and signs an experienced GK like Patricio or Zieler to challenge Ward.

Ed's, from a pure process interest point of view, how are managers generally hired in these situations?
Is it a normal world apply, interview and appoint process or are there a lot more factors and skewed timelines in place like pre-contact, should tapping and agents involved?

Not sure if anyone can confirm or deny this but have you heard the rumours that once the new manager is in place, that Rodgers will be given an ambassadorial role with Tans-R-Us, Ashley Madison and Colgate?
I think this is a good move for him and plays to his areas of strength.
Understand that it's just rumours so can be hard for anyone to give a definitive answer.

This has been around for a while and seems to get rehashed every two years or so - with the supposed bid from a Chinese Art Collector as well I get the impression 2+2 = potato.
I can't see FSG walking away just yet, rather, I'd suggest they are looking for a significant long term investor to grown the brand of LFC across the US and into China.

21 goals in 26 games for FC Shirak Guumri, the winners of the Armenian Star Premier League. A bargain at €225k and 6 months left on his contract. Surely the step up to the Premiership is no hard task.
