Naby Keita would be a great signing. It is shaping up to be the most competitive league EVER, so class players with to go along with our great football manager will help the quest in hunt for major silverware.

I do not wish to talk about players we were linked with who have since joined our rivals. Good luck to them. End of.

I hope for Aubameyang next but that is unlikely, so I would be just as happy with a classy LB. Mendy won't happen fromwhat i understand so perhaps Gaya or Hector would be brilliant.

To conclude. Naby Keita, Gaya/ Hector, VVD and Salah would be a fantastic transfer window. With or without Aubameyang/ Mbappe.

Just my opinion.

Hector won't leave Köln. He is somewhat a true "kölscher-jung" as they say. He has played there for his whole (senior) carrer and renewed his contract last season. Whith european football coming to Köln as well i can't see him leaving.

Mbappe, Auba and Mendy won't happen as well. Mendys wagedemants are just stupid, Mbappe will likely move to Madrid (also i can't see the point on spending 100+mil on one player if we need to work on a few positions), aube will most likely stay at Dortmund. He had 2-3 Clubs he would have gone to but Real had no interest this summer, psg ending interest after changing their director and milans purchase of Silva.

The most realistic transfers this summer will be the transfers of the ox and robertson. Keitas transfer will be an interesting one because we allways lowball and rb won't lower their price. It would be the best thing if the VVD won't happen after what happend.

I agree with your post mate on everything but the Aubameyang bit. Where would he fit in? We have Sturridge, Origi and Firmino up top with Ings around as well.

I think keita will be coming in to replace Coutinho. I really don't see the reason to spend 60-70 million on Keita. We already have a well stock midfield without him. We already have Can, Hendo, Lallana, Gini, Coutinho and Gujic. We need a LB more than anything so that requires sorting first.

To be honest Baz, that is the only way it makes sense to me as well. Keita would be a decent enough indirect replacement for Coutinho as he is better than Lallana in midfield, and Salah will replace Couts in the front 3. A midfield of Keita, Hendo and Gini looks well balanced.

I'd still prefer to just keep Coutinho though and drop him into midfield. He is on the brink of world class. It would be such a shame to lose him now.

I don't think Couts is leaving, MK cos Klopp knows how valuable he is and like you, we need to keep our best players and get good players in to play with them instead of being a selling club. A midfield of Hendo/ Can, Couts n Gini/ Lalana would be awesome (had Keita's price not been thru the roof) . Now would Couts leave next season? Only time will tell.

Selling Coutinho and buying anyone would be pointless. Did the hard work to secure the CL and you sell the player who made it happen. lol Klopp will face a riot from supporters. The club has money and they will distribute it for the incomings. I expect some decent recoup from sales as well!

We don't need Ox if we get Kieta. We would only need a LB and CB to come in after. Robertson would cost us nothing while I am not sure if we are looking at any CB's

Robertson - £10 mill.
