Afternoon all. For once, I am going into a Liverpool match, genuinely not caring for the result, just want to watch some good football. A lot of changes, and yet, Carvalho still can't start a match. Kelleher, Matip, Gomez, Tsimikas, Milner, Firmino all start though. Fringe to leaving players getting starts, either to say thank you or to beg people to sign some of our players :P

TAA should not play RB, he is a massive liability. In midfield he has more opportunities to create without worrying about leaving his space vacated. In midfield, he has his midfield plus the backline to hold up play and allow him back. At right back, Trent is targeted again and again because he has not learned how to read the game, defensively.

Was he a massive liability when we won the CL and PL? It is absolutely possible to protect him and be a winning team with him at RB if that's what we want to do. We've demonstrated it. That being said, I'd have no problem with him converting to midfield either, cos he's demonstrated he can play well in that are. But it needs to be one or the other.

Kelleher has been dreadful. Alisson would have saved most. He doesn't even dive, just falls. Really disappointed with him, thought we might be able to trick teams into thinking he is a great Keeper, when, in actuality, he just made important penalty saves. He is awful in open play.
