I would hope not. I know everyone wants to see our polished new signing in play but right now Ibe and can based on his cameo are more deserving of spots.

Reet I would hardly say they are more deserving just because they have made appearances; how can you get appearances if you require appearances to get them in the first place?

For me Firmino has to start, if that means Ibe or Lallana off is a different story.

Cna because we looked ten times better with him than without him . And ibe because he's had a fantastic pre season and dropping him suddenly just to accomodate firmino who may still may not be match fit would be unfair to him

I think Firmino takes lallanas place and everything else stays the same. its tough for can atm because of hendo and milner, would like to see us switch to 442 after an hour or so and stick milner on the wing to accomodate can and go with firmino and benteke up top.

It's very important for Lallana to start along with Allen soon. Two of the worst signing the club had made in years. A combined 41 million. Brendan struggling for places to play both. Lols.

I would expect Can to start and Couter to move up to Lallana's spot. That is what looked to be our best lineup last week. Harry you seem to be awful harsh on Lallana. He may not be setting the league alight atm, but I was a big fan of him at Southampton and still have faith he can come good for us.

{Ed001's Note - do you not feel he takes too many touches? Fine if we want a slow build up, but for quick, incisive attacks, you need the ball moving quickly and he doesn't do that. He hangs on and hangs on before releasing it or losing it, and not when he is moving forward at pace either, which is when you don't mind players taking lots of touches.}

Spot on Ed. I didn't want to say simular last season cause of all the abuse I would have received but started seeing it pretty much instantly. Did he do the that at Southampton? I didn't see a lot of him before he came across just highlights.

I can't help if you don't watch footie and behave like BR playing names than right player.
Quick counter attacking football needs the ball to released and run at people, so I recommend pace on flanks.

We spend 27 mill on the player and he has done nothing IMO. He cannot survive 90 mts on the pitch says a lot of the transfer.

Spot on, Ed! I observed the same thing in the preseason. Lallana needs to move the ball quicker when he plays or he'll find his way to the bench regardless of how much I rate him as a talent
