Reports Liverpool are interested in signing Christian Tello from Barcelona. Any truth in this Eds? . or is he more likely to sign for Fiorentina?

Redman Irish

{Ed002's Note - I dealt with Tello in January and the Fiorentina cheap loan-to-buy-cheap deal with Barcelona that includes Porto being paid off and another little "consideration" that will be to the future benefit of Barcelona. The player has the option of making his loan permanent this summer. I am not aware of any Liverpool interest since January 2014. If Klipperty is interested it seems he has again found an old Post-It note of Rodgers down the back of the sofa.}

Hi all,

Heading over for the weekend from Ireland for Sunderland game. First time going to game for 4 of us! Really looking forward to it.

Got hospitality tickets as suggested on here. Hopefully the result will be better than last night.

I See Liverpool U21s playing sunday against man city and its its only 3£ admission does anyone know if U21s play in Anfield or if game will be somewhere else?

Pretty sure it's at Anfield mate, that's what it says on the official site for the U21 fixtures. Usually a good game too as there all trying to crack into the senior squad, some proper talent on show for both sides.

Left comment on banter earlier on in week with regards to tickets for sunderland match. Heading over from Ireland.

Tried General sale this morning and had no luck. Pure lottery of a system, sold out in 2 mins?!

Took advice of some posters here and contacted everyone on done deal and other sale sites and the best I'm getting is to check back the week of the game.

Without buying from online sites or hospitality both of which are 150£ at least. what's my options?

Anyone know if I was outside Anfield on morning of game if I'd get tickets? or at least a pub nearby where I'd get tickets for 70 or 80£?

Thanks for posting eds.

No chance mate.

At the KOP end of the stadium, there is a petrol station to the left as you're coming out the club shop (assuming my memory is correct) . There are sometimes a few guys stood by a low brick wall that surrounds the petrol stations courtyard. They usually sell tickets at about £70 a head.

It's a hell of a gamble to rely on that though. I'd just bite the bullet and pay for hospitality mate.

Don't go tanked up with alcohol. There's usually a few people in the area EMS described who will try to rip u off with false tickets or vouchers. Speaking from personal experience have all your wits about u. Enjoy the game if u get in!

Thanks everyone will try the above!

Have u tried twitter? Loads of sites on there that sell for face value. I got one the other week. The trouble is that there is a few of you. Just go hospitality, it's worth it and u will get meal etc depending on option u choose. Good luck.

6.) 07 Jan 2016 13:35:55
When the stadium is expanded it will be easier but so far I have just gone hospitality rather than touts. Roughly £150 alright but that's about £80 more than you want - £80 extra to be guaranteed you're getting in. I haven't seen touts selling outside the stadium when I've been over. Best of luck!

If you can't sort it before you travel mate then stump up the hospitality money.

I wouldn't risk it near the ground.

8.) 07 Jan 2016 13:55:57
I'd recommend hospitality, it's a quality way to watch the match, although every week I would prefer to stand with the kop.

Tbh mate looking at what's been said and from friends and personal memory there are a lot of fake tickets about so chances are youse could all come and buy a set a fakes for £70 and not see the game, as a rare occasion I would advice paying the hospitality as it will be a better experience for any new attenders anyway.

Yeah makes sense I suppose for the sake of 80£ I'll have peace of mind going over that I'll defo see game.

Only issue now is to convince my 3 mates that this is the best option. With sterling to euro rate travelling over is very expensive as is.

Many thanks for everyone's help!

Can't wait to see Ilori make a show of Sunderland. Reckon he'll be brilliant beside Hummels ;)

Hi all, first time poster. Big Fan of site.

4 of us heading over from Ireland to see our first Liverpool game against Sunderland on 6th February. Really excited.

We've flights and accommodation booked but no tickets as of yet.

It says on LFC website that general sale tickets will go on sale to non-members Thursday at 8.15am. We are all going to try buy these but does anyone know if we will actually get tickets or if they sell out straight away.

Our other alternative is to buy from some online sites but they seem to cost in or around 120-150£ which seems excessive and we don't know if they are even reliable.

I would really appreciate some help on this from any of the eds or anyone who has time and knowledge. We would take any tickets available at all.

Could we just wait and see what is available outside anfield on the day?

Many thanks for posting eds.

YNWA.

Your best route is to join an affiliated supporters club and go through/ with them. The general sale can be ok but you can get left with obscured views. Buying off touts is a last last resort.

2.) 05 Jan 2016 13:19:38
Hi red man if you can't get any tickets before you go try done deal. I'm sure you have heard of it? It's like gumtree. You might pay slightly more but at least you will have them and not spend all you time in a panic when you get over. I'm from Belfast and I've got them off the same guy a few times if I can't get them face value. GOODLUCK hope you get sorted.

3.) 05 Jan 2016 14:02:04
Better off going through hospitality with liverpool officially than bothering with touts mate. Prob get a decent price and meal etc included. General sale will be hard 2 get especially all seated together. Good luck and if u buy online research it first as lots of cowboys.

4.) 05 Jan 2016 15:18:50
There are a few posts on done deal, usually people with season tickets. You might have to leave a deposit but its refunded on your return. Hospitality is expensive, even for the basic package but i suppose if you don't get over too much then why not treat yourself.

The way it works at presnt is 4 spots to champions league and 5th to europa league.

Both winners of Carling Cup and F. A cup will get Europa league spot the following year unless they have already have secured European football on which case they're spot is given to 6th or 7th place depending on.

Example if Man City win Carling cup and Arsenal win F. A cup and both already qualified for champions league then they're spots are allocated to sixth and seventh.

Hope that clears that up and that I got it right!
