Delighted with the result and the table but I think we can play a lot better.
As JC23 once said no kid grows up wanting to be a full-back or particularly Gary Neville. Andy Robertson is changing that. Everyone loves the forwards but Robertson must be everyone’s second favourite player. Good engine, composed, determined, can pass and cross, team player wow!

1 more game then they can be rested for the cup, massively important game and a positive result will be huge for the remaining games.
As for robbo, what an inspiration to young kids everywhere, he just doesn’t stop!

Love Robbo but he was hit and miss against the Gunners. Not his best game by a long way.

He's got everything right except the correct decision-making- when to rush forward and when to stay put. Not sure you can teach that, but experience and time certainly does. Can be helped a little more by VVD too, I think.

His wife gave birth 2/ 3 days ago. I can forgive him for a slight off game. Even though he played that inch perfect diagonal for salah to set up mane.

So the best unbeaten league run for Liverpool at the start of a season is 29 games in the 88-89 season. The run was finally ended by Everton. Who is the 29 th game against this season? Coincidence or what.

Actually eds, or anyone. Are the league fixtures random or are they pre determined? There seems to be so many coincidences, all these super Sundays etc.

I thought it was Chelsea at anfield but I'd rather wolves at anfield. Wolves will have little to play for by then probably. Maybe europa league qualification.

Well done! Only 5 games left.
I didn't think we played particularly well but we got 3 points.
A special shout out to Mignolet. Did everything right under intense bombardment. If Carroll slapped me on the head and hit my arm I would drop the ball.
Sterling was brilliant. No longer just an exciting youngster with pace. He was fast, strong and intelligent. A little more composure and he will be world class.
Suarez and Sturridge were a little off. Good! Saving it up for next week.
There should be no pressure on the players as they have already done us proud this season. The expectations of the supporters has already been met. Everything from now on is a bonus unlike Chelski and city.
Football is a strange game. I have a funny feeling that Everton will decide the league outcome in their game against city.

Wow!
In my opinion we had so many good players without having anyone majorly outshining the rest. This is the very essence of a team.
Although we have many very talented players, Flanagan is fast becoming my favorite player. Heart, ability and came through the system. Then he has buckled down and forced his way back into the team after being largely written off.
I know a lot of people on here seem to moan about everything so I have summarised all of the negatives today.
Mignolet - was saving penalties at the start of the season and now he isn't.
Skrtel - what was he doing so far up field for both goals? If he hadn't scored Arsenal might of been able to counter attack.
Suarez - never scored and was far too greedy hitting the post from 30 yards.
Henderson - there was a piece of grass at the right hand side of the Kop which he never touched.
Coutinho - is too short if we need to use him as a sub goalkeeper.
Groundsman- the grass was the wrong shade of green.
Sterling - is not very good at throw ins.
If I have missed any possible complaints please feel free to add them.

Despite the defeat I'm still really pleased with the way we are playing; except in defence.
Personally I wouldn't play Skrtle. He always seems to be blocking and saving the day with last minute challenges and there is no doubt he is committed to the cause. However, we have conceded in most games since his return.
I prefer defenders to be reading the game and in control so that they aren't always reacting to issues in a desperate fashion e.g. Alan Hansen or Beckenbauer.
With this in mind and all the publicity regarding shirt pulling I think it is time Toure came back in to help provide solidity especially at set pieces.

I think there will be a degree of rotation but it will still be a competitive team. After all a win in the group stage is worth around 2.7m euros and money is tight.
