Hi Ed's. Hope you are all well.
Just wanted to ask if you know of any genuine interest from clubs for any of the players we are willing to sell?
Karius, Lovren, Grujic, Wilson, Shaqiri .

{Ed002's Note - Loris Karius (G) Liverpool find him back on the doorstep and will need to find a solution - perhaps a reduced price and an early exit - CSKA and Hertha Berlin offer opportunities - does not wish to return to Turkey although there is interest from there. With Boeckx getting toward the end of his career and Roef's departure this summer already agreed Anderlecht would like him to challenge first choice Van Crombrugge. Wolves need cover, but Karius would not be first choice there - and regular playing time is what he will be after.
Devan Lovren (CB) there was interest from Roma but that has likely gone.
Marko Grujic (CM) Borussia Monchengladbach and Lazio have been talking to his agent and Liverpool will likely get offers from both clubs.
Harry Wilson (RW) Minamino likely ends his Liverpool career - Leeds, if promoted, may offer an option.
Xherdan Shaqiri (AM/RW) wants more game time and if he leaves it opens the door for HG player to ease an issue the club has - Seville interest slipping away - Galatasaray want a loan with an option to buy.}

Hi Ed's. Hope you all well and enjoying the summer!
You have mentioned the issue of a lack of HG players ( Lallana and Clyne leaving ) . Is this is a major problem for LFC, meaning that we would actively be looking to buy HG players?
I see teams like Wolves, who seem to have very little HG players so wonder wether other clubs are in a similar position.
{Ed002's Note - All Premier Leage clubs have to meet the same Home Grown rules. The senior (over 21) squad cannot contain more than 17 non Home Grown players.}

With no players coming in and no players being sold; we could have a squad of:
Alisson, Adrian, Kelleher
TAA, Williams, Gomez, VVD, Robertson, Matip, Lovren
Jones, Grujic, Fabinho, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain
Brewster, Minamino, Origi, Shaqiri, Salah, Firmino, Mane.
I've taken Kelleher, TAA, Williams, Gomez, Jones, Milner, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Brewster as the home grown players. I may be mistaken.

The defense is extremely thin and the forward options excluding our front 3 are either very average (Shaq, Origi) or inexperienced (Brewster) .

It's not as thin as you think. I didn't put Hoever and Van den Berg into the equation because they can play from the U-23 side when needed and the question was "home-grown status" related. Nat Philips is also not listed (if we decide to keep him) .

We did sell Solanke for £20 Mill. The market has gone down with C.V.. No sure on prices but even if the above are all sold it will be tough to raise enough funds to buy the likes of carlos or a first team player. I would be happy if we can recoup around 30 Mill.
