Gapko has been outstanding 1st half. Never thought I'd be saying that after his performances last season, so glad we didn't sell him. Isak has taken his goals well and overall we have been better. Still think we are vulnerable in midfield. No denying Wirtz is a class player, but can we carry him in a midfield 3 along with Slob and Mac all season? Hard to see in all fairness. A win tonight would be brilliant for the team and Iraola, who I feel will get this team flying if they would just do as he asks.

I have no great expectations for this season apart from seeing good quality football from 11 players giving everything for the badge. I thought Munoz was a breath of fresh air 1st 20 mins, has drifted a bit but could be our signing of the window. Time will tell I guess. Here's hoping for more of the same 2nd half and an invaluable 3pts. Come on lads, let's put this to bed.

Back four locked down, Isak goals classy, I like Munoz, Gakpo great start but drifted as usual, Gravenberch improved nothing when came on, Wirtz quiet again, and again.

I'm liking this so far. Gakpo playing really well. I like Isak coming out wide when Gakpo drops into the middle. If only Kerkez could cross a ball!! He tries to hit the ball too hard. Top half time, but much better.

Bar the assists, Gakpo did next to nothing. But same as most of our attackers. Lots of running forward, getting swamped and then just giving the ball away.

Sobosli has to push on this season tactically and positionally if wants to play centrally. Headless chicken at times. Still issues centrally when they break but at least Macca is partially dealing with it.

Gakpo looks a far better player knowing he's got competition, 2 good assists and 2 good goals from Isak.

I'm liking Gakpo 2.0. - Can we put him in the shop window every summer? :) Balance of the team is looking much better. Just need Wirtz to figure himself out.
