Iraola making a a strong point today Gravenberch started the season as one of the midfielders in the first two games cost us by not doing his job he was then dropped now after the midweek game when he came in and was awful again not it's Trey coming instead.


Wirtz replaced as well today been pretty bad so maybe this midfield that is on now might be our midfield moving forward unless Gravenberch and Wirtz don't pull the fingers out.

That's the reason you have a squad. If you're playing poorly you get dropped and have to knuckle down to get your place back. It keeps everyone on their toes and playing at a high level.

Part of our problem has been that players have been getting picked no matter how they play. That just leads to complacency.

Really poor performance. Wirtz was abysmal, forget the price tag he was just useless.
Barcola looks a nothing player so far.

Cody Gakpo was the only forward player who deserves anything above a 6 out of 10. Isak was just ok.

Defensively we're pretty solid, and Macca and Trey did ok. Szob looked dead on his feet second half.

The quality of supply into the box is virtually non existent from either flank. Our transfer business has as we know been very poor in the attacking positions. Iraola has a big job to improve us, not sure he can with the personnel tbf.

Wirtz is not going to make it. I think quite a few of the players are not suited to each other. Bought individuals instead of a complimentary team.

Hopefully this gets sorted in the summer.

I agree about wirtz as he's doing nothing to. win the fans over. but Barcola is getting use new a new club amd league, got. to give him time but poor performance? Not sure. Bournemouth is not an easy place to go nowadays and if u come away with 3pts and clean sheet that's good. We were always going to be a Work In Progess for AIs first months.

i'm happy with what i'm seeing so far.

Wirtz and Barcola are world class players and will both be big players for us.

The problem is that people want everything right now and stamp their feet if they don't get it. Wirtz was poor today, Barcola and Isak were average at best. That doesn't mean they are bad players, it just means they need to be managed and coached to bring out the best in them.

Their best is very, very good.

Its fairly rubbish so far lads we've had 2 extra days more recovery than Bournemouth and we can't put more than 2 passes together. Absolutely no service to Isak, wirtz might as well took the day off he's been so unanimous just not suited to this league.

Everything is so slow and lethargic its not to dissimilar to slot ball at the moment. We need to up the pace big time 2nd half take wirtz off maybe Nyoni on and give it 15mins this is a terrible watch yet again we are so so poor.

Another fantastic first half performance.

Let’s be honest - we are one of the easiest teams to stop in the premier league even though we have bought some of the most wanted attackers in the world. I have absolutely zero doubt that nearly all players in our starting 11 would thrive at either Man City or Arsenal.

Trying not to be miserable but, just want to enjoy watching the team and not settle for another bad draw.

Praying that the team make me eat my words in the second half!

Going to call it, Florian Wirtz is not suited to us or the Premier League. Brilliant footballer but the pace is just too much for him, I initially thought he might work out but I'm not sure. 25 mins so far and nothing from him. It could be balance but I don't see how we can continue to play him in the same team as Slob and Macca. Three players all wanting to occupy the same space.

I am left wondering if AI is getting the answer he needs? Gravenbach looks like he is done, unless he gets his act together, I fear for Wirtz as well. He needs to start showing what he can do otherwise I can't see how he will stay a starter. We still play way too slow and can't pass a ball more than 5 yards.

Feel like it's a big game today with the results this weekend. A win and we can say it's been a pretty decent start to the season but a draw or a loss and it's not great. Have to say though I'm loving watching teams like Brighton, Brentford, Sunderland etc giving the big teams a run for the money.

Really like watching Bournemouth as well but hopefully not today. Will give us a feel good factor over the international break if we can grab a win.

I think this will be a tough game personally. Not getting 3 points won't come as a shock to me.

Chewy - whilst he has been fantastic in Turkey, I think it was pretty obvious he did not have the physical ability anymore to have the same impact in premiership.

He is giving Arsenal absolutely everything... even reversing throw-ins whilst Arsenal take 15 to 20 seconds on their goal kicks.

But people will tell me that there is no bias mor corruption on some level.

Where is the poster who said to my post Arsenal are miles better than anyone? give them the league now? the PL league title is not won after 5 games, it's a marathon not a 100 yard sprint, anything can still happen, we haven't even had winter yet. I bet ye Arteta wishes he got a point like we did at home to Fulham last week, the first game after a midweek fixture for Andoni ever and he got ripped, sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition, Brighton have proved that?
