The Club is currently not looking for a replacement for Alisson despite all the gossips. If Caiomhin goes, expect one goalie to get promoted. Adrian might get replaced with a free agent we all know pep well.

{Ed001's Note - Adrian has been offered a new deal.}

Surely on reduced wages ed?

{Ed001's Note - no idea sorry.}

Ed001 good news? To be honest as 3rd choice it's more about what he brings to the dressing room and he seems a really good guy.

{Ed001's Note - and coaching. He helps coach the other keepers.}

Can’t we just offer him a coaching role then? I hope we don’t waste a spot registering him.

@OneKiss, Who knows perhaps third choice keeper gets paid less than a specialist coach? Either way we seem to be getting value for money - good quality emergency keeper (realistically when was the last time out third choice goalie had to play) and a goalkeeping coach - into the bargain.

Maybe he hasn't completed his coaching qualifications yet so he can't be registered as a coach?

{Ed001's Note - and we would then have to sign another 3rd choice keeper. Why would we want to register him as a coach and not a player?}

Do we have any younger keepers ready to step up?

I saw a photograph of Adrian with Matip and Jota at a UEFA coaching facility for a B licence. You say Adrian assists with the coaching at Liverpool. Is this a casual arrangement as he does not yet have a full licence or can he register as a coach and player?

{Ed001's Note - he doesn't need a full license to coach. They have to put in a number of hours to earn the badges, so he is partly working to get his badges while with us. A bit like Gary O'Neil did with the youth set-up. But he doesn't need the Pro License unless he becomes a head coach.}

Thanks Ed for the reply. Always appreciate your depth of knowledge.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
